Read Before Going! I really wanted to support this local business, but my experience here has been a complete nightmare, and their customer service is non-existent. If you care about your car, please read this before bringing your car to Bixby Auto Car Wash. On (June 21st) around 1:40 PM, While watching through the viewing window, I noticed the staff having significant trouble guiding my car onto the automated rails. An attendant ended up forcing and adjusting the vehicle on the rail, and right then, I saw my front driver-side hubcap pop off. When the car came out, the hubcap was missing. The manager on duty found it, but it was clearly broken, buckled, and fractured from being crushed against their rail guide. The manager snapped it back on and assured me it would hold, but because the structural integrity was completely compromised, it flew off on the road the next day and is now gone. I took close-up photos of the damage on-site under their canopy before leaving. I have called multiple times, sent a detailed email with photos, and even reached out via direct message. Total silence. I have yet to receive a single response from the owners or upper management. But then again, why would they want to take responsibility for damaging a customer's car? When an issue actually happens, no one here wants to be held accountable. An important warning to future customers: Keep a very close eye on your car while it's on the line. Honestly, it makes me wonder if they deliberately frosted the glass in the viewing area just to keep customers from easily observing their cars getting damaged. They have the exact timestamp (June 21st between 1:35 PM and 1:45 PM) to check their security cameras and verify every single word of this, but they choose to ignore me instead. Went to Bixby Knolls car wash this afternoon after work to get my truck washed like a normally have done on Thursdays. I've always left satisfied but today was a different story. I usually get the Ultimate "C" package which is around $43.99 plus extra charge for larger vehicles which is around $50 after taxes. This package comes with armor all on all the trim, side mirrors, running boards, tonneau covers Etc. Today, I received the worst wash ever from Bixby Knolls Car Wash. My side mirrors were left dusty, my tires were dry, half dressed, tonneau cover was left dirty and as if they didn't even scrub it, my truck was left was dirty smudges as if the used a dirty towel to dry it. I feel like I was ripped off for my $65 bucks (wash plus tip) I've never seen such a half ass wash in my life. I will be calling tomorrow to ask for a refund. read more

I came in for a car wash and discovered a few days later that many items in my trunk were soaked and a few items damaged. I wrote to let the staff know and they took zero accountability for the error. They implied that the water must have entered my (completely sealed) trunk another way. I'm a multiple decades of 30 plus years customer of this establishment I lived down the street from here in Bixby Knolls 32 years and although I have moved down by the Beach on Belmont Shore two years ago I still use this location it's not the cutest or modern but still works for me. Changes It's not as it used to be back in the day it was more personal a true mom and pop place the owner is much older now and doesn't stop in anymore least I never see him These days I mostly hand wash my new car I have a Honda Accord Sport and it's very low maintenance. Staff. They have the same manager I saw a few years ago and I've had a issue with him once when I lost money handwashing my car he got a bit testy with me for such a minor issue but it was resolved and we're good - so far everything is the same the drive up car wash nothing has changed it's still decent as a regular car wash or hand wash. I can't vouch for the detail department but I can vouch for the staff good decent hard working people who do hard work and deserve to be tipped. My experience. Stop by the hand wash area it's really convenient especially if a full wash wouldn't work for you - today's hand washing cost me $4.00 and since my car is parked outside due to not having a garage a full regular wash would have been a waste of money. Prices have gone way up and quality way down. Got my car washed today and there were still traces of dirt all over the outside especially in easily visible spots like by the door handles. The inside was still so dusty and crumbs still on the seat. My floor mats were all out of place so I was fixing them before I drove off. As I was fixing the mess they left inside my car, one of the workers in the car behind me kept honking and telling me to move. Like non stop honking and yelling to hurry and move. Went today got my car washed. I always tip the people who finish the car. I could not get cash from the cashier and the ATM on site was broken. I couldn't tip. I blame management. I've been specifically going to hand car washes to avoid the damage from those machine washes, but trying this spot was a mistake. There's 2 spots where these people scratched the paint completely off and another spot that was a pretty big red scratch. On top of damaging the car, the workers seem distracted on their phones or chit chatting alot with each other. Spend $115 for carwash and still found a lot of spot outside my car specially on the cover of side mirrors. Dash board and AC panels still have dust in it too and I can still see coffee stain on my cup holder. I let the team know and i got no response as to either a refund or how were they going to service the guest since their machine did not work. They sent someone to "look". Paid $40 for detail vacuuming and cleaning of the inside and outside. Great job except the vacuuming. After lifting the foot carpets I noticed that it was vacuumed very poorly. Other than that the car looked great, but for $40 it could have smelled better and could have been vacuumed better. i thought some inside smell treatment was included. read more

I am always a frequent customer here. The one thing I like is that they give you this punch card to when you purchase 10 FULL SERVICE CAR WASHES you can the 11th one for free. I came to redeem my 11th wash and I still ended up paying for it. On the card it's said full service wash so i've been purchasing the 69.99 wash. I came to get that one and they still made me pay $45 saying that it supposed to be a regular wash. When that is not what the card says it just says FULL SERVICE WASH. I tried to explain to the lady where people can get confused off this card thinking we have to purchase the other washes because it's not specific on the card which one we will get for free. If that was the case I would've saved my money and bought the regular was all the times I have been here. Then she proceeded to say i'm being nice i don't have to discount you. What great customer service and what a great way to talk to a paying customer. They need to train the cashier on how to handle situations. Someone recommended this place to me so I went there instead of my usual place to give it a try. It was $150 to wash and detail my 2007 Jeep Cherokee. This included roughing up and polishing my headlights. When I got home, I noticed spots all over various places on the JEEP. They never cleaned the inside of the windows and there was still cream left from the polish on the Head Lights. The rear spare tire, which is mounted on the back was full of dirt, almost like it was never touched. I just spent part of the day, wiping down the vehicle to get rid of the spots in washing down the tire and cleaning the inside. Lots of stains and dirt on the rims. This review is in regards to the tipping services. They will not give you cash back when you pay to tip the workers. They want you to use their onsite ATM so they can make an extra 2.95 per transaction. I left the facility went down to my bank 7/10ths of a mile away and brought back a tip for the worker. It's about the principal! Update: Hello Shell, apologies for assuming you own the ATM. It is an inconvenience not to be able to get money without paying a fee. You might consider only allowing $20 cash back per transaction to stop your facility from being used like a bank. Overall, the place was clean and the car wash was good. Quite possibly the Worst Car Wash I have ever had! I had stopped going to this car wash because of the lousy job they do but I was in the neighborhood and had a coupon. Usually, they do a bad job on the windows so I was inspecting them before tipping and driving off, but I wasn't expecting to find they never cleaned the interior (see pics)! I was nearly home when I discovered this and was tempted to turn back but I had frozen food in the trunk that needed to get into the freezer. This place used to be so awesome! I have sent them so much buisness from co workers, neighbors and employees, but no more. The employees spend so much time laughing and talking they no longer spend anytime washing the car. Thirty bucks.. it was horrible. The wait was 1 1/2 hours, then after they did a horrible job, the men were saying tip, tip in spanish, well I speak a little spanish and I just looked at them and they stop laughing and walked off. Had the car washed with package D which is around $80 so with small suv up charge and tip, this was $100 car wash. All I can say is: car wasn't clean. At all. This was my first visit to this car wash, and the customer service was disappointing. Blanca, the cashier, was extremely rude. When I asked one of her coworkers for her name, he didn't seem surprised, suggesting she has a history of being rude to customers. It's now clear why this business has a two-star rating. I paid extra for an upgrade, but they tried to tell me I only paid for the basic service, despite my receipt clearly showing otherwise. This car wash has always been a hit or miss for me. I've been coming here off and on for well over 10 years. They do a good job washing and waxing my cars but it's usually the old guy or even the newer guy when the old man's not there, that greets you and writes your information down. I usually watch my car go through before I pay to make sure all the lights for the different washes come on, if there's a problem I can tell someone and they'll run my car back through (yea, I've been dealing with them too long). I've been coming here for many years and I've only had an issue once where they broke my deflector on my truck, but they paid to get me another one and installed it for me. That said a lot about them and I was very appreciative of that. Since then, I've always come here for car washes, if I can. This place is my main choice There are times that the waits are long and I can't wait, so I will ask for the express wash, which is quicker. The express wash is outside only. They offer 4 or 5 different packages. They also have 4 lines open at any given time. Once you go inside, you can watch your car go through the wash. They have restrooms, a small sitting area with massage chairs and they sell all kinds of things like drinks, snacks, and ice cream plus every single kind of air freshener you can think of. Make sure you check what's included in your package and check your car before leaving.
