Mahalo Nolan for getting our home theater installed! Our experience working with BixnoHandy for our flat screen TV mounting was as smooth as one could have hoped for. We found him through the Thumbtack app, and within 10 minutes of posting the job, we were set up and confirmed with a scheduled installation the following day! I appreciated his quick and informative response, with a follow up text the morning of installation. Nolan was totally prepared for the job. He was up front and honest about the potential issues with our TV mount (due to the small size, there was risk securing it into our concrete wall). Luckily for us, he brought with him a brand new mount that would work better and be more secure with a concrete wall. He also secured some of the cords to the back of the TV with some velcro he brought, and I appreciate his tips for setting up future equipment (sound bar, cord/cable concealers, etc.). The whole job took a little over 1.5 hours. He brought a vaccumm to clean up the dust and was considerate of our other furniture that may have gotten some dust. Payment and invoicing was done all via smartphone (Venmo and an invoicing software). Nolan is a total professional, and very easy to work with. We will definitely consider him for future work. Nolan is amazing! I found out I needed a section of my deck cut out for my sewer to be dug into. I freaked, since I had no idea whom to call, and it was urgent! I found Bixno Handy on Yelp (the Thumbtack top pick was a good indication) and decided to give them a try after calling other places with no answer! Nolan answered the phone immediately and I told him of my situation. He requested some pictures which I sent. He was quick in responding which definitely gave me peace of mind. He is very professional when speaking with prospective clients. He gave me his rates in writing before I agreed to anything. He even said he could come by that day! I thought was too good to be true until sure enough he showed up! I figured it would be just for an estimate, since it was 5pm. He said he was able to do it and they got to work in an instant. We initially needed work done to fix our exterior sliding door where the wheels were not running on the track properly. They diagnosed the issue quickly and offered to locate the parts required at the general store for pick up. That eventually lead to a conversation about fixing and updating a number of outlet switches we wanted to turn to smart dimmers throughout our house, which they all did as well! Nolan was able to come to my house on the same day as my inquiry. I needed a new kitchen sink faucet installed to replace a broken one that day. I was able to disassemble the existing fixture but there was a particular rusted out bolt that I could not undo. Nolan came the next day and was able to remove the bolt and install the new plumbing fixture all under an hour. He is a professional and I enjoyed his method of working; I got a kick out of how he electronically documents the steps involved and posting on Instagram - modern day tech! Nolan was great! He diagnosed the crazy wiring in my kitchen and figured out a solution for how to run all of my appliances without tripping the circuits. Also replaced an old GFCI outlet lickety split. He also took time to look at a bathroom fan that was acting up that wasn't on the original list. I had a TV I needed mounted above my fireplace. They did an amazing job of drilling cleanly into the ceramic tile, letting me know what kind of bolts they'd be using, ensuring me that it was securely fastened (by hanging from it himself!) and cleaning up afterwards - all with a crazy rescue puppy and a barking older dog running in circles around them!
