Our special day was made even more special by a wonderful blend of delectable menu options,…read morethoughtful service and ambiance. The menu presented extensive and adventurous options that as first timers could have been intimidating but with the help of Donavin our delightful server, we selected the perfect seafood salad for the Mrs. and the curated selection of Maki (delicious sushi "tacos") that together made for the perfect share. Add to that a smooth Japanese beer and a surprisingly moderate overcast that made our dinner on the patio the perfect way to celebrate our first meeting 47 years ago. There were so many other tempting menu options that we'll look forward to sampling on our next for sure visit. Hopefully we will have the pleasure of having Donavin as our server even though our observation is that all the young people serving are helpful and gracious . Having read about Oiza in the CVLUX magazine, I can honestly say our experience so grandly exceeded our expectations my wife wants to submit her own review!

We chose to commemorate it by having dinner at O-iza and what a wonderful choice it was! As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were immersed into the a serene and beautiful environment characteristic of the Japanese culture. The young ladies that greeted us and then ushered us to the patio were lovely and gracious. It was then that we met Donavin who became our adept curator for the evening. He effortlessly, patiently and with insight matched our curiosities and tastes to the perfect menu choices. We quickly realized that we were barely scratching the surface of the delightful selections that the menu has to offer. That means we need to return and continue our exploration. Hopefully, we again will have Donavin to guide us. We would like to thank the entire staff for a most pleasurable evening. Nancy M. Ramentas

I overheard them talk about how they were going to a movie so Joy offered to help pack their food to go, write their names on it and leave it in the back so they can come back for their food after the movie. I just felt that was super thoughtful and above and beyond. Outside of that, she also took care of me and my friend. She was one of the only waitresses who ever mentioned the rewards program to us and let us scan our QR codes only to find out we each had about $6 off our meals. Fantastic service and great food like always!

I decided to go with the Seoul Pot and my friend had the Hai De Pot. The food came out quickly and we asked our server to turn off the burners since the food was boiling. The one thing I wasnt crazy about was that my pot was filled to the brim where I couldnt add the noodles. I had to pull items out that seemed like "filler" items that wern't that tasty, seaweed knot and some kind of compacted rice ball. I would of preferred a little more broth could of done without those extra things. The broth btw was very good! I felt my broth and bowl was a better tasting option than the Hai De Pot my friend ordered. Our server was great and checked in often. More people entered for lunch but it was still a quiet atmosphere, which was nice. All in all we liked this place and I recommend it. The service is good, prices are fair and food is pretty tasty.

Also tastes so much better than other grocery store sushi. I love the variety of goods they have at the market as well. Ambiance: 4/5 I love the combination of the market and the restaurant. It's the best of both worlds. The tables aren't the cleanest, but it doesn't bother me because I wash my hands

I like building my own hand rolls and bowls at home, so having a place with consistently fresh fish is non-negotiable and this place does not miss. Every single time I pull up, the quality is on point. The fish is fresh, clean, and exactly what you want when you're trusting a place with your raw cravings. No weird smells, no sketchy cuts, just solid, reliable quality. The staff is always super friendly too. Never feels rushed, always happy to answer questions, and they actually seem like they care about what they're serving. Honestly, there's not much else to say, if you need fish in Fresno, this is the spot. Period. Only heads up. Getting there right now is a bit of a mission with all the construction, so plan ahead unless you enjoy trying to figure out how to get around that train track

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service is always friendly, and I'm greeted and seated quickly every time I visit. The food comes out fresh, hot, and consistently delicious. One of the things I love most is how generous the portions are. The plates are so big that my boyfriend and I will sometimes share a meal, and we still leave satisfied. My go-to order is the chicken shawarma plate with Fattoush salad, hummus, and warm pita bread--it's absolutely incredible every single time. If you're looking for authentic Mediterranean food with excellent service, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to go. It's one of my favorite lunch spots, and I'll definitely keep coming back!

I thought it would be a regular corn dog spot (which I already love), but finding out it was Korean corn dogs made it even better! When we walked in, the first thing I noticed was how clean the place was, always a great sign. There were a few people ahead of us waiting for their orders, but everything is made fresh, so the wait felt reasonable. I ordered the spicy corn dog with spicy beef, and my husband went for the spicy mozzarella corn dog along with dirty fries. The dirty fries, tater tots topped with Flamin' Hot Cheeto dust and a spicy sauce, were definitely a fun twist. Watching him eat his corn dog was entertaining enough because the cheese pull was amazing. I liked my spicy dog with spicy beef, though the spicy sauce was a bit too sweet for my taste. My husband really enjoyed his, though, so it definitely depends on your flavor preferences. Overall, we had a great experience, and the quality and freshness stood out.
