11/29/25 Getting breakfast for tomorrow! I called and ordered a ham breakfast burrito with jalapeño & hot salsa. He wad very kind & said it would be ready in 15 min. Arrived! Greeted when I walked in. Very nice restaurant. They are ready for Christmas. Lots of holiday decor! Music playing. Large bar and open atmosphere. Order ready and brought to me after paying for it. Received shortly later with good day wishes. Great! 11/11/25 Happy Sunday everyone! Breakfast burrito split. It's HUGE! Even half is A LOT!! My half was Really Delicious! Cute spot, ample space and the food IS AUTHENTIC!! Fresno has a lot of good little Mexican spots and this one is definitely one of those! I ordered an agua de Tamarindo (they said it's made fresh--no powders) their torta milanesa and I wasn't ready for how PERFECT everything was. For starters, the agua wasn't overly sweet and they served it in a beer mug...girrrrl, they must keep the drinks in the freezer because my agua had the tiniest bit of slush and OMG...it turned my day around. Tamarindo slushy! The torta was bigger than I expected, perfectly toasted and the fixings were just perffff!! Soft crunch. This is a little foodie jackpot. Their chips and salsa were also pretty yum! I was at a conference at a nearby hotel near the airport, and several of us felt like some Mexican food. Picked Lety's just by chance as it was a sit down place and nearby. We were a party of six, and I really appreciate how accommodating the staff was there in getting us a table quickly, considering how busy they were. I'm happy to report that I had probably one of the best chimichangas I have ever had, and I've eaten a lot of Mexican food. We didn't really have a whole lot of time, so I really appreciated how fast the food got out to us. Even more so than the food, the staff was very nice. The kind of nice I'm talking about would suggest they actually enjoy their jobs in addition to being nice people. I'm sure most people who eat out a lot can understand the difference between being polite, and actually just genuinely being nice. I would come back for the food again most definitely, the kind attitude of the servers is what will guarantee me coming back soon, even if I have to drive a little bit for it. read more

First thing I said when I walk in was that the restaurant was really nice and that it felt like a old school Mexican restaurant so definitely a spot to go chill with you boy after a long day and have a few beers . Second service was amazing, everyone was really nice and helpful. Food was perfect temperature and cooked homemade style. Prices were super reasonable and portion sizes were big. We were actually headed to the Lety's @ Ashlan & West to get some mole, but the hubby thought we better call to make sure they had it. Sure enough, they were out, so off we go to the Clinton location. Hubby ordered his mole, which was flavorful, albeit a bit watery. The inside of the drumstick was oddly cold. I had the chile verde, which had tender chunks of pork and another watery sauce. It wasn't bad, but I've had better. This location serves premade corn tortillas whereas the Ashlan location serves handmade corn tortillas. We were able to buy some mole paste to take home and make. Mine won't be so watery read more

Never heard of this place but were listed on a gift card so decided to try it. Not disappointed; you get a LOT of food on huge plates. We needed take home boxes (love when we get a bonus lunch). Food was very good, but nothing stood out as exceptional. Nice presentation and freshness. Second bowl of chips for no upcharge (thank you! Take a clue other places). We had rellenos, enchilada (shredded beef was very flavorful), chicken tamale, and I think my son had carnitas. All very good. Service was attentive and friendly. My wife and I came into town Sunday night and asked our shuttle driver where to go and she told us about Lety's. Went for breakfast Monday morning and my wife got the breakfast burrito (about the size of my forearm!), and I got the Chorizo omelet and added in sausage and bacon with corn tortilla's. It was delicious!! Our waitress was Lupe and she ran the front of the house like a machine! She was the only one working that morning, until 11AM. We were in the area and decided to stop by. There was a warm, welcoming feeling in this place. We ordered 2 combination plates. My wife had the enchilada, tamale and taco plate. She loved it especially the tamale and enchiladas (she said it reminded of her late grandmas cooking). I had the sope combination plate- I love sopes and it didn't disappoint. We ordered three chicken taco and enchilada plates online from this place. They didn't ask us what type of meat we wanted and the meat defaulted to chicken. They also seemed to not get one of our orders right because we had asked for a bean tostada on the side but instead all of them came with bean burritos. The food was good overall - the chicken tender and salted well. The rice and beans and bean burritos were also savory and flavorful. The only thing about this place is that usually portions at Mexican places are bigger, but the portions here were actually relatively small. The guy there giving our order was very cordial. He thanked us for picking up our online orders on time, saying that we were one of the few to do so. He said that usually when people take a while to pick up their orders, he goes out of his way to remake the order so that it's still hot when he picks them up. I've been twice and the first time was memorably good... and the second time... still good! They're consistently friendly as well. Authentic Mexican food and for a good price. They're willing to substitute for vegetarian options. They give complimentary chips and salsa. I've been wanting to take the bf to check this place out for some time. We both love Mexican food. I really enjoy their micheladas, but heads up... they're big glass jugs and tasty! It feels a little watered down compared to somewhere like red wave but I think it's because they add ice to it. So good. I ordered a 3 combo dinner, taco, enchilada, chili relleno with rice and beans. I don't usually like chili relleno... and I loved their chili relleno. It didn't feel overly greasy like I've had before. They were super friendly and accommodating. Bf loves posole. The only place he said he goes for posole is Vallarta market or his good friends mom's house when she makes it. He says this is going to be his go to place for posole now, the posole, 5 STARS.
