He took one look, agreed it was "very short" (understatement of the year), and offered to comp the service as an apology. Fair enough, right? But here's where it gets messy: the original barber (JC, as I later learned) didn't even bother lining up my hairline. It's crooked as hell around my temples and neck - like a toddler drew it with crayons. Total amateur hour. And WOW... the commute was 100% worth the cost of an Uber ride. We booked with Frank and couldn't believe the magic hands this man has! hahaha. Frank is funny, kind and was super helpful bringing both his expertise and listening skills to the table. We showed up with a few samples of what we wanted and Frank worked his magic on my friend's hair and beard. I also was super annoying recording everything for TikTok (haha!) because, well, we wanted to make a funny video of the experience for our friends - and Frank was so fun to work with. I understand a written policy, but the rest of his demands (paying for two rather than the one remaining cut), his nakedly aggressive behavior, and disrespectful tone are not OK at all. At least stick to your own rules and don't change them on a whim. Note that the place was almost empty and the barber that we requested was on his phone and not busy. In summary, horrible attitude, unreasonable demands, and abysmally bad customer service.
