Delicious Pizookie, we come here every week, service is good. Sometimes the servers aren't always friends but overall its a good place.

I haven't been here in such a long time and let's just say the M-F all day pizookie meal deal is fantastic!!! They have so many choices to choose from and the place was packed for lunch on a weekday. It clearly shows the food is that good. I ordered the smashburger on the pizookie meal deal. The burger is a double smash patty with cheese and has fries as a side. I thought the burger was fantastic! It had a great melty cheese and the meat was flavorful. I also thought they had a great fries to complement it. For the pizookie you can order any type you want and I got the triple chocolate. I loved that this one had a ton of mini chocolate chips among the top of it. Really good and such a great deal. I am so surprised how good this spot was! I can't recommend the pizookie meal deal enough as there are so many options upon it and they all sounded delicious. We needed dinner after school shopping. By doing the wait list (love that feature) we were seated almost instantly. Alex was our server. He was really good. Made sure that our drinks were refilled and the food came out pretty quickly. The restaurant was kind of loud between the music and the table behind us. Kind of killed the ambiance but everyone is there for a different reason. We ordered the Calamari (some pieces seemed overcooked) and the Garlic Shrimp with Parmesan Toast Appetizer...this was to die for! My new favorite!! My daughter and I ordered the shrimp Alfredo and her dad ordered the Chicken Parmesan. All 3 of us needed to go bags. My daughter ordered a brownie pazookie with extra whipped cookies and cream (the extra whipped topping was for me ) Everything was great and the service was as well. Stopped into BJ's on a Monday with friends for happy hour. The decor is warm and inviting. It was 4:30 and the restaurant was pretty empty. We sat at a high top in the bar area. I ordered a Tito's and cranberry which was $6 on the happy hour menu. We also avocado egg rolls $6 which were crunchy on the outside but way too mushy on the inside. I ordered a wedge salad off the regular menu which was fresh and delicious. My husband ordered a large pizza as many topping as you want for $20 on Mondays which he split with his friend. It was very flavorful but the pizza was deep dish so too much bread for me. Service was good,the bartender was also waiting on the tables in the bar area. The whole dinner was excellent! We have been meaning to come here for a while and we finally came and had the $13 pizookie meal deal. The meal comes with an entree and a personal size pizookie. We started off with chips and dip. The chips were salty (which I love) and came with a salsa dip and guacamole. I then ordered the all American smash burger which came with fries. This was sooooo good. Finally ended the night with the salted caramel pizookie. Our waiter Keith was excellent! Right off the back he was friendly, communicative, funny, and was attentive. He really went above and beyond with his customer service! We came for dinner on Monday night and it wasn't that busy. It's in a big shopping center with parking all around the restaurant. The TV's were playing Monday night football, everything was very clean, and it's a spacious location great for big parties. I can't believe I live 10 minutes away it has taken me this long to come. Came in on a Thursday for the rib deal - $25 for a full rack of ribs, 2 sides, and a pizookie. It was plenty of food but the quality was lacking. The mashed potatoes were pretty good but the grilled asparagus were super skinny - not much to them. The ribs were good but did not settle well in my stomach. The Dubai chocolate pizookie and the monkey bread pizookies were both good. Service was friendly throughout our dinner and the restaurant is perfect for family dinner or date night. read more

I don't usually go here because it's a bit of a drive, but BJ's has really upped their deep-dish pizza game! I got half pepperoni extreme and half BJ's favorite Togo. Went here for a date night and did not disappoint. Monday-Friday all day deal $13 for choice of 8 entrees and a personal pizookie. I ordered the Mediterranean chicken bowl and it was delicious with fresh veggies and crema sauce. My husband ordered unlimited soup and salad and the chili was hearty and tasty as well as the salads were very good (wedge and mozzarella). To start we ordered the peach boba margarita and the margarita flight which was amazing. my daughter had the broccoli soup and clam chowder to start and she enjoyed every bite of it. What should've been a relaxing meal turned into a frustrating experience. BJ's has potential, the menu looks great and the atmosphere is inviting, the pizzoki is always a hit. During my recent visit everything seemed off. Our server disappeared quite often. We were never asked if we wanted more drinks, which was a serious missed opportunity an additional sale. Our food was plated extremely poorly and the food did not live up to what I expect from BJ's. We were not offered any condiments as the food runner just dropped the food and also disappeared. No one checked on us throughout the 1.5 hour meal. I had to ask for the check. I really hope this was just an off night and not the norm. But it seems to be the norm, as on this visit we were using a gift card from a previous bad experience. I'd love to give them another try in the future if improvements are made. read more

I had not been to BJ's Brewhouse in Pembroke Pines in a long while. My husband and I came on a Saturday around 2:30 it wasn't very crowded. Our waitress name was Myriam My husband ordered BBQ a full rack of ribs,he enjoyed his ribs,he said they were juicy and had a good flavor to them,he had French fries and loaded mash potatoes. The French fries he said were not warm and the loaded mash potatoes did not come out loaded they were plain and not that tasty. I ordered chicken bacon avocado flatbread,. I don't eat pork,or cilantro. So I know I specifically told the waitress Myriam I didn't want bacon or cilantro on my chicken flatbread pizza. Well when I finally got my order there was no bacon but cilantro on the pizza. To confirm it was cilantro because I wasn't sure,I asked Myriam,I said "what is this on the pizza",she kept walking dismissing what I said. When she came back by our table,I said I asked for no cilantro,she said to me "no you didn't,are you allergic to cilantro." To the manager at BJ's please tell your staff it shouldn't matter if a person is allergic or not to cilantro or whatever else is on the menu. No paying customer should feel forced to eat something if they don't like it. I'm paying for food,you're not giving it to me for free. I didn't send the pizza back because I know when that's done the cooks don't like it and will resent having to cook another order and also sometimes it can cause a scene,so I just let it go because it's not a pleasant experience to go back and forth with a waitress about what I know I said why would I have to lie about it. She didn't want to be bothered putting my order in correctly. I will not be back to this location anymore,I felt dismissed as if what I wanted to eat didn't matter. So at this point I just said I will pick off the cilantro. The chicken flatbread with the avocado was good,I just didn't care for the taste of it with the cilantro. I ordered shrimp tacos they were tasty,the slaw and onions on it were very good and the taco bread was crisp and not too soft. The side of nachos that came with tacos were tasty,but I didn't care for the salsa,it was not spicy and the flavoring was not that good in my opinion. Our total bill was $69.29 In spite of this experience,I'm a good person I still gave a tip to Myriam,,however not the highest it could have been. How I'm treated makes a difference if I revisit a restaurant location repeatedly. It's unfortunate because I hadn't been to this BJ's location in a long time to dine inside,this was just my second time dining inside at this location,normally I order take out,so I was let down with my dine in experience. As far as ambience, I feel it looks okay,not spectacular,they have a lot of tvs around so you can watch sports games,so that's a positive.And there is a bar to the left for those that like to order drinks. I don't care for the set up of the seats they are too close together, so it's not intimate at all,when you talk,ithe next table can hear your conversation.' And the booths across from you are too close as well. There should be more distance between booths and some type of tall divider between them as well for privacy,as to muffle the sounds of the party next to you talking. It's been years since I don't check them out so I wasn't sure what to expect. We came in on a weekend and it was early dinner so there was no wait time. The server was super nice and attentive. Food and drinks came pretty quick. To start I had the peach margarita that came with boba which's was sweet and delicious. I also had a broccoli soup to start and I absolutely loved how creamy and cheesy it was. My mom had the margarita flight and she said it was good. To share we had the avocado egg rolls which were ok but not my favorite. Kids food was perfect mini cheeseburger and chicken tenders. There were no complaints. We knew BJ's Restaurant had a great happy hour since we recently attended the BJ's in Coral Springs. This Pembroke Pines location sits as a free standing building on one of the most heavily traveled and crash prone roadways in America - Pines Blvd. The bar here is identical as the Coral Spings location and is where we sat. After a few minutes, we met with the bartender, Daniel, who was vocal about the craft beers that are made right on property for $5.00 each. I ordered a Piranha Pale Ale 6.5% abv with garlic shrimp and the avacado rolls. My frothy cold brew was on the bartop within minutes and the food was not far behind. Chatted alot with Daniel while watch football reruns. Very large outside patio with tables and tv monitors. We applauded the manager who was cleaning the inside and outside of the entrance windows by hand. I love when I see this activity. The bathroom was clean and appeared updated. This is my new fun happy hour place and I took a seat at the bar to have a face to face with the bartender. I came here for the $5.00 in house made craft beer and the garlic shrimp with sliced Italian roll which I dip into the garlic sauce - Omg heaven. The avocado rolls had a crispy shell which provided a crunch sound with every bite. I had a strong 8.6% abv BJ's Committed craft beer which was refreshing. I've been coming to BJs restaurants for over 10 years. Im part of the loyalty membership. From Miami so usually dine there. Never had issues. Today we came up to Pembroke Pines so we stopped by this location. 4 of us with children. When sat down at small booth, we asked if they could move us to a bigger booth. Anytime I've ever asked for this kind of accommodation at any other restaurant let alone a Bjs it's never been an issue. They've always accomplished what they needed to make us comfortable and happy. They lied and said the big booths were going to be sat soon. We watched for 30 mins as no one sat down. The hostess is terrible. Food also took long to come out. Server and food were good. read more

I love going to BJ's! They have an excellent happy hour deal at the bar. I've been several times with my coworkers and it never seems to get old. I recently went with my hubby. I knocked off a star because my chicken Parmesan was a little overcooked but my husband's dish was delicious. We also got dessert (salted caramel pizookie) and it was a hit. BJs grew on my recent visit to the one in Tallahassee. I enjoyed my meal there. When I came back home I decided to try the one here in Pembroke Pines. I ordered take out the strawberry fields salad, the same salad I had in Tallahassee and it was spot on once again. Additionally the take out server Alijah was awesome. He was super welcoming and professional. He even told me about the rewards program which I downloaded immediately. Overall great experience. I'll be returning. read more

I dined here so that I could redeem my free Birthday Pizookie. Our server, Sean (not sure of the spelling), mentioned that they had a seasonal appetizer, Shrimp Garlic Parmesan, which he said that he tried and highly recommended it so we went with his suggestion. I ordered the BJ Brewhouse Bowl which had quinoa , brown rice, pickled red onion, pico de gallo, roasted barbacoa cauliflower, corn, red peppers, feta cheese, cucumbers, crema, guac and cilantro. You can select a protein which I didn't do. My husband ordered the Prime Rib Dip. I had a bite and thought that the au jus was a little too salty for me. I was surprised that my husband agreed because he likes salt. The meat in the Prime Rib Dip was so tender. My husband really liked his meal. For my birthday Pizookie, we had the Salted Caramel which was a great ending to a fantastic meal. Sean told us that if we like prime rib, we should get the Prime Rib Dinner the next time we come back and said that it was a big portion that could be shared. They only have it Friday-Sunday and they sell out quickly. We are looking forward to going back. Hopefully sooner than later before the Shrimp Garlic Parmesan is gone! read more

Three of us had lunch here today and ordered their Pizookie meal deals. Unfortunately the service was slow and we did not have time to eat our Pizookie's so we asked for them to go. We orders one Salted Caramel Pizookie, and two Triple Chocolate Pizookie's to go. When we arrived back home we found that not only had they left out one of the ice creams for the Pizookie's, they only included vanilla ice cream and not the Ghardelli chocolate ice cream that should have come with the "Triple Chocolate " Pizookie. Your average sports bar... Ample room to stretch out in a low-key, casual atmosphere; lots of tv's. Food is average at best, and somewhat on the expensive side for what it is. OK to visit occasionally with some friends to catch up and watch a game, but there are better options out there. read more

Was pleasantly surprised when I came here for a lunch celebrating a coworker. We called ahead and made a reservation for 15 people. I'm always worried about service and payment when we have such a large party but our waitress was flawless. She asked at the beginning if we were paying separately, which we were, and then gave us each a number so that she could put us on our own bills. I was thoroughly impressed and grateful that she kept it all organized. I had the Kicken Chicken Sandwhich which I enjoyed and would gladly order again. I had a GREAT experience from 3 different people! first up is the bartender Jay Findlay, he served me a blood red mezacal that was just amazing and it hyped me up for the Japanese 5 course beer dinner that we attended.
