I never received the item I ordered on June 1. In fact, the item never shipped and I cancelled the order on June 12 because the item had not yet shipped as of June 12. I've also talked to the warehouse, Metropolitan, on June 29 and 30 after calling you, BJs. I asked them to update you, BJs, that the item is in their possession, at the distribution center still, and never was shipped. My order was updated to cancelled status on June 15, three days after I actually cancelled the order. I still have not received my refund, Totalling $1,979.49, for this order as of July 30, 2026. I'm completely dissatisfied with BJs ability to fulfill my order in a timely manner and to process my refund in a timely manner after cancellation due to the lack of shipping within reasonable business days and allotted time. The store was quite empty. It was 20 minutes to closing time I was able to find everything l needed, salads and veggies were fresher and all lined up for thr morning crowd. I like this kind of shopping. I thought they closed at 10. I am glad l made it in time. read more

This particular BJ's Wholesale Club is located on Palm Bay Road and is not too far off of Interstate 95. In addition to the usual shopping area, this locaalso has a gas station where the gas is significantly cheaper than the other gas stations around it (about twenty-five cents cheaper). I am generally a fan of BJ's Wholesale Club. I have probably been a member for over twenty years and there is a reason that I renew my membership every year. This is a ghetto store with high prices, poor customer service and very rude staff. Obviously very poorly managed. The gas station is poorly designed, always overcrowded, long wait times and never provides receipts. Way too many bad experiences to list here. Compared to Costco or Sam's this place sucks. Very disappointed in bakery special order. I wanted a special birthday cake for a 65th birthday: however BJ's does not offer chocolate cake so was led to order cupcakes. Requested bright color frosting and cupcakes to be shaped as a 6 & 5 but as you see from picture: only one color used and just globbed on spelling 65. Then ordered a red velvet cake to say 'happy birthday' abd same dull blue used with same giant STAR tip on bag creating giant messy letters. Very very disappointed. Never have had an issue at this club. Nice people all around with a good stock each and every time. Get out of the Miami area and what a change! Store was clean, organized and without the attitude and language issues that you may find further south. As and added bonus you probably won't get the cattle call lines that you might find in the South Florida stores. Love the gas station, usually not much of a line and prices are always competitive. Would like to see a nice food court come back to the majority of these locations. It's not as well stocked as Costco but they do take store and newspaper coupons and they don't limit your payment options like Costco does. read more

Love shopping here at BJ's the coupon sales are great. Also there deli has an amazing cheese variety and their lunch meats are fresh. Anytime I need help at the register as soon as the light turns on a salesperson come quickly to help therefore I'm inclined to always go back to shop there. They are OK... Although I like Sams Club better because they actually care about taking the customer as priority ONE.... For example: Several times I've gone into BJ's and found at least 1/3 of their TVs off. I found several items out of place and there is no food court. They have a fantastic collection of food items. Oh and their gas price discount isn't real. They are pennies from the public pumps.... Thats if you DON'T USE THEIR CREDIT CARD. If you do, supposedly they give you 10cents off a gallon. When I lived in Florida the first thing I did was look at my places empty fridge and then decided that I needed a trip out to get some BJ's. It's the equivalent of Costco, Sam's Club and any other big box chain. Why did I choose BJ's? Well, I thought of the crude humor involved in carrying a card that had BJ'S written on it and the choice was made. You know, I'm always thinking of those cheesy pick up lines and what could be better than flashing my BJ's card... Though I guess in retrospect that wasn't the best thing to have. While it may not have helped in dating scene, it did help me in the bulk purchase of goods and services. They also have a gas station attached to the place and well, while getting Gas and BJ's is not typically something you want close together, in this case it was more than welcomed. Distance wise, it was also very close to where I was living. So the trip with the barrel of frozen items bought there wouldn't defrost. Very important thing to keep in mind is that Florida is hot. You reading this review from there should know that already. Those reading from somewhere not in Florida, BREAKING NEWS, FLORIDA IS HOT! What I liked. Parking was always simple. In the blistering heat or in the sudden massive downpour of rain, it was always the case that I got a spot really close to the shutter gates. And believe me, in some of those Hurricane winds and rains, it was really important to get parking close. Speaking of which, you ever try to prepare for a Hurricane? You're going to be happy to have big box supply of batteries as well. Not to mention a bucket-o-dry goods for when that big storm comes in. This place also comes in handy when the storm is over and everything in your fridge is spoiled from the lack of electricity. One quick stop over here and you're good to go. On to the BJ's Gas. I always loved filling up with BJ's gas. I guess I had a chuckle about it. It's a big box chain and well, it served me well in my time in Florida. Do I still have that BJ's card? Yes. Yes I do. But that's neither here nor there. And per Law, the Alcohol section is separate from the rest of the store and you don't need a membership to buy booze here. Just left over $500 worth of items on the conveyor belt because of the lack of empathy from management (Alicia). After spending an hour and dragging my 4 and 7 year old with me, I got to the register and realized I did not have my card. When Alicia looked it up they said it was expired. I just got a coupon in the mail for renewal and asked if they could honor it. They offered to ring up everything with a 20% surcharge and come back later to do the membership. The manager would not budge on it so I said I was not going to spend an extra $100 on my order. I called the corporate office and found out I have a 15 day grace period and the manager should have honored it. The corporate office provided me with a 3 month extension and a $25 gift card. Called the manager back to see if I could get the order back together and she hung up. No empathy here. Maybe it's time to review how BJs treats members especially in this low volume store. I went to Sam's and had a great experience. BJs was empty... Sam's was busy... I was greeted and asked if I needed any help. At BJs the door person is just leaning against the wall talking with another employee. Sam's had multiple registers open as the volume was a lot more, but there was only 1 line and 4 employees huddled around a desk in the cashier area. I give it 2 stars based on my cumulative visits. read more

Worth the cost of membership IMO. The breaks you can get on gasoline coupled with the money you can save by buying certain things that you know you're gonna be using in bulk make it a winner. I noticed some people noted in their reviews that they had problems with customer service. I haven't yet, but in all fairness to their opinion I have noticed people having some issues @ the customer service desk more than once. read more

This place has a great variety and offers way more than sams; as far as products. The customer service is horrid. This place is like the wal-mart of bulk shopping. Even though wal-mart owns SAMs club- SAMs is way ahead in the customer service department. Who woulda thunk. read more

I was pleasantly surprised at being able to shop in the liquor store of BJ's with out being a member. I do not know if that is the case at other wholesale stores, but it was pretty cool to be able to do so. I did not like the fact that the sales associate barely spoke English, or Spanish, which made me wonder. I only noticed the language barrier because a fellow employee seemed really stressed and irritated. We were the only customers in the store. Clearly he was upset with the lack of ability to communicate. No matter. She was able to take payment for goods. You do not need to speak to do that. read more

I joined tonight but am quickly rethinking that decision and might cancel the membership and get a refund because of ONE specific employee named Marissa. She was the rudest most unfriendly person I have ever met. She acted like all customers were bothering her and totally forgot that the customers are the reason she is there and customers are what keeps the bills paid and the lights on. She throws products around and has no respect for BJ's, their property or their customers. She will be the demise of this location and after being a member for 30 mins I am horrified by her attitude. I do not want to PAY for a year of having to deal with her rudeness. Marissa needs to be either fired or moved to another position that does not involve her dealing with the public.
