Ended up here on a whim coming back from a day in Orlando. It was on the way home and we were hungry. It was my first time in this newer Publix and let me tell you...it won't be the last time. That place was absolutely spotless and so much more well organized than the one closest to my home. It was so much easier to find the things I was looking for. I just loved the overall layout of it. The convenience of having a self checkout was awesome for people who were in a rush to get home. I just can't say enough good things about this location. read more

I'm updating my review to 5 stars. I went today during lunchtime and this store was better stocked than the other locations. I was able to get bread, pasta, canned goods, eggs, meat, TP and paper towels. They also had bleach and dish detergent in stock. These days many things are hard to come by and today this store had most of them. read more

Wow , Today I had been shopping in this Publix it was very busy and I had grab my groceries went to my car and realized that my key fob was dead and I couldn't get the key inside the door handle. I felt frustrated I came back inside the store at the customer service area and immediately received extraordinary customer service from a woman named Macy !. She ask if she can help in anyway she even went as far as to go to YouTube and find out how to open the key fob to find out what kind of alternative batteries they had for me. She took me to the side because she seen how frustrated I was with all of my groceries and personally checked me out. Today hasn't been a particularly great day for me but because of her my day is much better. I will continue to come to the store thanks Macy !!. You rock- Maiya read more

This is the newer Publix located on the north side of Palmbay Road just east of Minton Road. The Publix is very clean and the service is friendly. I've visited about noon time on a Tuesday afternoon. Well I found what I was looking for and the service was friendly, the linrs were moving slower and way longer then I'm usually accustomed to at Publix. Honestly this is the longest I think I've stood in line at a Publix without them opening another cash register in quite a while. Anyway won't stop me from going there as I know this is not the norm my mom loves their Neapolitan eclairs, got a few balloons blown up, got some fresh chicken tenders, and some peppered salami Yum! read more

I wouldn't normally review a grocery store but this one is quite different to me. Customer service is exceptional and the store is almost always well stocked and super clean too! The other day, for the life of me, couldn't find fresh asparagus. The produce guy stocking shelves stopped what he was doing and led me right to the asparagus, great guy and was super nice. The store is clean and up to the standards you'd expect from any Publix. There's more than enough parking. My family (who lives in this area, while I do not) likes to come to this location, even though it's a little farther from them than another Publix, as they've always had good experiences here. I had one situation here that was partially my fault, partially Publix's, and to this day, my mom still teases me not to buy deli chicken fingers if I go here. I ran in to get some ingredients for a chicken salad and found the deli area absolutely packed. I wandered off to get everything else I needed with the hopes that, when I came back, it would have cleared out. Success! There were only two people when I returned, so I got in line and waited my turn. One person finished up ... only one more to go until sweet, delightful, fried chicken tenders were in my possession ... and then everything began to go wrong. A cute young couple squeezed in and caught the attention of someone who was free but not actively patrolling for the next person in line. Rather than going with my natural instinct and smacking a bitch, I practiced my meditative breathing and decided to let it go. THIS WAS THE WRONG DECISION. As the couple pranced off with their delicious chicken-y goodness, I stared in horror at the now-empty tray where chicken tenders once lived. There was nothing but despair left. I was courteously informed that they'd put some new ones in right away, but it'd be about 15-20 minutes. I power-walked my frustration out and over to the beer aisle, came back to the deli, glared at the employees angrily for a few minutes, and was handed my food. My salad turned out fantastic, although it had a slight flavor of broken dreams lingering from the chicken ordeal. read more

This store is the best! All of the employees are always helpful and willing to help you. For example one time when I was looking for one of the race car shopping carts all of them were taken, and an employee waited until one was finished and brought it to me in the store and help me switch up carts. They will stop whatever they're doing to help locate something for you or to do a price check. This story is always clean, well organized, and easy to find items. The absolute worst shopping experience, the furthest from a pleasure. I went to exchange shampoo/conditioner. Matt, and a few other teenagers, questioned when it was bought, how it was paid for, why I was returning it, etc. after answering all of their questions politely several times, and repeating myself to several associates, including a cake "manager"- Amy and assistant "manager"- Joe, they refused to exchange/return the items. They couldn't give a legitimate reason, but didn't feel confident enough, and asked to return another day, and wait for the actual store manager- Glenn. Why is it now the customers problem that the incompetent employees can't do their job properly?! This is NOT the PUBLIX GUARANTEE!!! They wasted my time, energy, and money. All of the employees were unprofessional and rude. RACIST to myself, and the woman behind me. VERY DISAPPOINTED especially since I've spent so much money for so many years at that store. read more

I can't make this stuff up. Walked up to the hot food display and told the person behind the counter that I would take The remaining 4-5 chicken tenders. Deli employee that's making an online sub walks over and sees there's no more chicken tenders left, then asks the guy helping me how many more minutes for fresh chicken tenders and he says about 10 minutes. He proceeds to grab all of the chicken out of the basket off the scale from the guy helping me and says, "I have an online order I need to fill" and takes my chicken tenders. I'm a ready to pay customer that's already in the store looking to go home to eat my chicken nuggets, instead the guy from the deli takes all of them off the scale to make a sub for somebody that's not even in the store. I can't make this stuff up. The person helping me says "more chicken tenders will be ready in 10 minutes." Is this how Publix operates a business? Management needs to have a talk with these folks behind the deli counter and make them understand that ready to leave customers in the store should get served first. Just insane. read more

Every time I go to this store the employees have always gone out of there way to be friendly and helpful. It has always been 5 star customer service. Recently, I asked the manager Susie to special order a couple of items for me that were not available in the Palm Bay or Melbourne area. She ordered the items for me and called to let me know the expected delivery dates. Then she called me to let me know when they arrived. She had to special order Graeter's mocha chocolate chip cream for me because you just can't find it anywhere in this area. It is at the Publix now. Just fantastic customer service. The store is always busy, and yet it is kept clean, and the people are always friendly. What more could anyone ask from their neighborhood grocery store. read more
