I am loving BJ's home delivery. I've used BJ's home delivery about 3 times and I am so satisfied. I clipped my coupons, chose my grocery, loaded my credit card and submitted my order. I made sure that they would not have any problems finding my. Address with important details. BJ's kept me well informed about the progress of the picking process of my order from start to finish. BJ's also kept me updated on the delivery status as well. When the driver was 3 minutes away I received notification. BJ's home delivery has been a real life saver. By utilizing the app and the home delivery feature, I saved travel time to and from the store, the shoppers saved me time inside the store by picking the items for me, and I bypassed the checking by staying in the comforts of my apartment doing other things that needed to be done. The product was delivered as scheduled with only one broken egg out of 2 containers. The driver was polite and handed to he origivt off as I requested. I don't have a membership I don't come to this store I was with a family member. I noticed certain items was out of stock like eggs the 5 dozen pack. The shelves was not stocked. I was better off going to Stop and Shop for the items my family member was purchasing. To me if your have a large family this store is for you to buy in bulk especially if you have kids, but if you have a small family don't waste your money on a membership. Maybe other BJ locations are better but this location needs to improve. One good thing the line moved quick. read more

I recently visited this BJ's Wholesale location, and while it gets the job done, the overall experience could definitely be improved. The store felt a bit stuffy and not very well organized, which made it harder than it should be to find what I needed. A clearer layout and better upkeep would go a long way. That said, it still serves its purpose if you're just looking to stock up on essentials at decent prices. I was able to get everything on my list, but it wasn't the most pleasant shopping experience. I love BJ's Wholesale Club early in the morning. No lines, no crowds in and out in 30-60 minutes. Staff are friendly and helpful! Shelter stock with all items before the afternoon and evening crowds come. I also appreciate the quality service early in the morning. I love Bj's simply because I feel like a kid in a candy store but for adults. We come here once a month to stock up on food items, pantry items, laundry items, and water. This place is usually packed first thing in the morning but we are able to get everything we need with no issues. Lines are extremely long but don't be discouraged because everyone tends to gravitate towards self checkout and the first couple of registers near it. They are usually concert long but if you wait online closer to the exit you'll leave quicker. read more

Horrible experience with picking up an online order today, Monday in the evening time. I waited for a long time outside in an allotted parking space, and when I asked for help from the two attendants in the parking lot I was ignored. I went inside to find out what was going on, only to keep getting ignored by the two male attendants. The manager was no help either. I understand it can get busy, but it is not hard to take 1 minute to explain things or let a customer know what is going on instead of ignoring them. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I joined in July of 2024. I have yet to get my membership card. It is the middle of October 2024. The first time when I joined I was told "you have to come back" with no explanation. I called the headquarters and was told they don't mail out cards for "security" reason. I have gone back 3 times, each time I was told the machine was broken you have to come back. When? Every time I go the machine is broken. If I hadn't taken a picture of the temporary membership paper I would not have my membership number. The first time I shopped when I signed up I just wanted to see the layout. I got a package of hotdogs and a package of salad. The salad had an insect in it. I'm done. I'm sticking with Costco which is better quality in products and service. BJ's is a ripoff! Stay away. I wanted to return an item. I had to wait at least 45 minutes because Hina from Member Services felt obligated to contact an associate from what I can only assume was Loss Prevention a.k.a. security. I was asked how long ago did I arrive and I informed the associate from Loss Prevention how long I was at this location. This was done to confirm exactly what time I arrived so he can back check the surveillance to see exactly what I did when I arrived. I kinda felt like a criminal suspect. That was minor compared to the actual experience I encountered that made me not ever want to return to this location again. Finally when I got the "okay" sign that I was able to complete my return process, I just wanted to return the item I purchased day before and continue shopping. I also had a sale coupon for $10 off my purchase of a particular item that already had a reduced price. I thought to myself that was an excellent deal. Not only was it advertised online, but it was advertised in the store. When I finished paying for my items at a self-checkout lane, I noticed that my $10 discount wasn't applied. I asked the self-checkout employee for help regarding my coupon and he informed me that I was supposed to sign in my BJ's account and apply the coupon through the app. Since my item was already paid for, the employee instructed me to the Member Services area so they can adjust my payment and refund me back $10. After waiting on that extremely slow member services line AGAIN, I was told by Hina that I had to repurchase the product and use the coupon online then check my email for a pickup time. If I am already at the store, why do I need to go through all of this? Instead of doing an exchange process to avoid any complications and make the process a speedy one, the second employee (not Hina) working with me gave me a refund and explained that I will be receiving my money back within the next 3-5 business days. Information that Hina, the first Member Services employee I was working with neglected to inform me. So I was in a situation where there was 2 refund transactions in process but as a result, I was left with no more money. Not only was I unable to complete my purchase, but I didn't even have any money to get the food I needed. At this moment I still don't have my money back yet. I requested to speak with a manager because not only was I extremely unsatisfied with my experience, but I found it very unfair how my money was taken and I was unable to walk out with food. Speaking with the manager Rochelle, I believe, she reviewed my receipt and stated that the coupon discount was already applied and I was supposed to receive $1.00 as a refund from the items. That was a lie. The product I purchased was on an in-store sale price for $3.00 less than the original price but the $10 coupon was still valid. Even on the BJ's website it clearly stated my claim was correct. This manager was literally trying to take the shortcut out of dealing with my issue by trying to give me $1.00 because I purchased 3 of the particular item as stipulated in the coupon and she tried explaining that the dollar she intended on refunding me makes a total of $10. Completely wrong. The $3.00 discount was a store discount completely separate from the $10 discount I was eligible for. The employee who refunded my second transaction admitted to making this mistake in refunding my money instead of doing the exchange process and as a result, I did not have any money to repurchase anything. That is what lead to me not having any money at this moment. I had to contact someone just to get money to pay for what I needed. Once everything was complete, the manager gave me a $20 discount for the hassle. I was completely insulted. How about you give me my $200.00+ money back to my account now!? An employee made a bad mistake with my transaction and she even admitted it. As a result, I was the one who had to pay a hefty price for an employee's mistake. An admitted mistake at that. The only reason why I have not mentioned the name of the person who made this bad error is because I didn't know her name. At least the first employee I dealt with gave me her name. My money better be back in my account by the middle of the week otherwise I will have no choice but to escalate the situation. I will NEVER return to this BJ's location and I DO NOT recommend this location to anyone. Extremely Horrible Experience. read more

They received 3 stars for there delicious bakery cakes. The lines are ridiculous. If I pay $50-$100 for a membership, I expect to be treated as such. Not waiting on a line that ends in the frozen area. I should not have to scan and pack those bulk items myself. Then wait for someone to come and scan the heavier items. Then have to listen to the machine every 5 seconds because something is not on the belt. As well as rush to put my heavy items in my cart because the customer behind me is just as frustrated as me. I am not from this part of town but i came here to go shopping with my friend. I am disabled and walk with a cane. My friend suffers from back pain and we used the mobile carts.. we was enjoying our self's going shopping and we asked the cashier could we bring the movile carts out to the parking lot while i wait for my access-a-ride to make it easier.. Anyways we was not only harassed by security but he also got very aggressive told me and my friend that we arent disabled that we should get our lazy asses up and walk.. he was watching us the whole time in the store (following us around). I am not sure if it was a race thing with this older gentleman or what but he got in me and my friends face, yelling, spitting and tormenting us.. i put in an complaint today but this is not okay and no one should be treated how he did us.. the disabled people have our own ada laws.. and he violated them. The worst Bj's. I only come to this Bj's when we need propane for bbqing. To fill a 20lb tank it's $15. Can't find that price anywhere else. The only problem is half the time you get here and the propane person isn't here and you can't get your tank filled. I've even started calling in advance to mAke sure someone is there and They day yes until 5pm and when I get here at 3 or 4 the person left early. This happens at least HALF of the time so be warned. This location is crazy packed and the stock is limited. Today I went which was the first day of June and a Saturday which would be expected to be busy and they had several rows closed while they were stocking. On a Saturday at 3pm. Both laundry detergent isles were closed. This makes no sense. And the best part was there wasn't any empty shelves on these isles. I could deal with this if the customer service here was warm but these employees are not friendly and know nothing when asked a question. Don't work in customer service if you don't like to smile and answer questions. Also the lady that was checking receipts at on the way out was so busy talking to some man that she wasn't even checking anything. Punched the hole and handed it right back. So I gave two stars only because the price to fill the propane tank can't be beat anywhere else but other than that I'd never shop here. read more

One star is far more than what Green Acres Tire Center deserves, namely C.J. After not getting through to the center via telephone for over a week, I left work at 3pm and drove almost an hour. After receiving a printout, I returned a few days later to order and pay for tires. C.J. informed me that the Firestone website was down and that he would place the order the following day and contact me once the order was placed. After allowing two days to go by and finally getting the operator to put me through to C.J., he responded by saying, let me call Firestone and asked for me to call back in 10 mins. After explaining that it's close to impossible to get through to him. He said that he would call me back. It's been about a week and I have yet to hear back from this guy. Which is irresponsible and unprofessional to say the least. And not to mention, I asked him to reach out to Firestone. He never took the initiative, for what it was worth. I will never return to this b.s. place again. Nor recommend anyone to purchase tires from this Bjs. Especially if you're a woman. They (CJ) will totally disregard you and your order. Awesome place to have your tires taken care of. Took my baby here to get a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ all around and I was never more satisfied. I completed the order online via a very seamless process, and was able to select an appointment time that was comfortable for me. Because my appointment was on New Year's Day, they telephoned me two days prior to let me know that they will open half an hour after my scheduled time to prevent any complaints, which is a very nice touch. Upon arrival, I found more than adequate space to park whilst I waited for installation. I was created by two gentlemen who promptly brought my car inside and got started on the process immediately. They were able to both install four new tires as well as reset the tire pressure management system all within one half hour. Very impressive. BJ's provides excellent "after care" for tires at an extremely reasonable price and I highly recommend them to anyone. Well done lads, well done. read more

HELPFUL HINT: Do not go there for propane to fill your tank. It is hit or miss as to whether they have it and they do NOT post it anywhere if they are selling it on any given day. Not on their website nor outside the store. Don't bother calling - they do not answer the phone. Would it be so hard to post the availability of propane on the website to avoid unnecessary trips? Visited Valley Stream on 8/30/20. As NY is still governed by strict Covid-19 Guidelines to keep customers safe, NY Law requires that all employees wear face coverings. When I approached the cashier to make my payment I politely asked her to cover both her mouth and nose with her mask. SHE REFUSED! I asked again and again, SHE REFUSED. I called over a Supervisor who also asked her to cover her nose. Again, she refused until finally, upon the urging of the supervisor, she pulled her face covering up above her nose. She should be FIRED. I tried calling BJs customer service but do not have the time to hold for 54 minutes to speak with someone. I mean if you need somewhere to buy in bulk and you don't really care about customer service then this is your place. Staff was so non compliant. I witnessed a staff member literally ignoring a customers question after multiple times of trying to gain their attention. That was the first time in life I've ever seen that. So rude. Besides that, the prices are great, can't complain about that. Samples were barely there. It was just one lady giving out a potato sample. The lines weren't overbearing.
