This place has got to get it together! Tried to come in for a salad at lunch time. Clearly salad is not a big seller at this place, as the veggies looked days old and sad. Girl behind the counter seemed clueless about how to make a salad. Asked for grilled chicken on top, and had to wait 10+ mins for them to cook the chicken (who has time for that on a lunch break?!?). I love their fried egg BTA on a whole wheat wrap. The flavors are absolutely delicious. It is filling but not greasy. I usually have it with a small latte or a cup of coffee and it makes an amazing weekend morning breakfast. As my aftermeal treat, I may also splurge on a slice of carrot cake. To be honest the carrot cake is amazing! Light fluffy layers put together with just enough cream. You can see the carrots in the cake and the whole concoction tastes divine. Guava cream cheese is amazing. The customer service is not. I have waited over 20 minutes for a toasted bagel with butter.

They have some interesting menu items, like a vegetarian avocado banh mi, and egg everything bagels - yum. They have regular and scallion tofu spread, which my dairy-avoidant, lactose-intolerant peers may appreciate. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty the bagels are, especially for a bagel shop that takes credit cards. Will return for more sandwiches on egg everything bagels. read more

My go-to breakfast spot on my days off. I usually get an egg and cheese with turkey bacon on a pumpernickel bagel and it could be such a messy sandwich but the contents of the sandwich are never dripping, or squeezing out when I take a bite! The only reason to go here is that the sandwiches such as simple things like bacon egg and cheese are more consistent then a normal deli. Otherwise this B rating place isn't necessary. I sampled the guava cream cheese (delicious) and got the BTA (bacon tomato avocado) on a toasted cheddar bagel. Popped in for a quick breakfast....I had the fried egg BTA on an onion bagel which was delicious and filling. My hubby had a plain bagel with egg, cheese and pork sausage. Staff were really nice and helpful, food arrived fast, coffees were a generous size for the price. The place is really clean and has nice décor. Overall, good value and a nice place to grab a quick breakfast. There are some stools so you can eat in as well. read more

This place is better than when it first opened up. They have more bagels than they used to but I do not consider this a bagel shop. It is more of a deli-esque place that sells, at best, average bagels. They also sell sandwiches including wraps, paninis and eggs on a roll. The coffee is o.k. by deli standards. The people working here are very nice but they seem a bit disorganized at times. The location is convenient to the J train, so that is the main reason I'll probably go back. read more

I ordered from BK BAGELS through grubhub at 8:40 and my estimated delivery was 9:45-9:55. By the time it hit 10:05 I was questioning where my food might be so I decided the ring up the restaurant. The young lady who picked up was polite and told me that my food was already on it's way. I wasn't too annoyed at the time because I worked in the food industry as a teenager and I know that shit happens. It wasn't until 10:40 that I became incredibly annoyed and decided to ring the restaurant again and the same girl picked up the phone. I explained that my order still had not reached me and she asked me to hold on for a minute. I guess she didn't realize that she wasn't covering the receiver well enough because I could hear her asking another woman what to say and that I was "the same woman from earlier," to which the other lady responded, 'I don't understand what's wrong with people just freaking wait'...As if the BK BAGELS is not responsible for the fact that they set one delivery time but are still over an hour late. Sorry if inquiring about my $18.00 order is bothering you. I'll tell you what, that's the last time I order anything online or in person from BK BAGELS since obviously, I'm impatient and can't 'freaking wait'. read more
