The management is good. My 6-year-old child has started to enjoy playing basketball here. I think interest is the most important thing.

Toddler parents - this one's for you! Do not drop $100+ on this nonsense…read more I live in Long Beach and signed my toddler up for their soccer league. The description of the activity stated: "The first week will be practice and team assignments with the remainder of the weeks being games." So I thought this meant my kiddo would have the chance to run around (in some toddler chaos) and socialize with other kids. I wasn't expecting professional games at all (they are toddlers, after all), but at least some formation of a team vs team situation. That was not the case. They basically do the equivalent of having the kids run drills every week. These are drills they do with their parents, they don't even interact with the other kids. Basically, the same thing - warm up, do the "ice cream" game where each kid kicks the ball into the center, yadda yadda. That's fine for the first session but what about the others? Nope, same thing. 6 weeks of just drills. Coach stands around yelling instructions and then is on their phone or chatting with each other. Zero interest in the kids and she honestly looked like she didn't want to be there most of the time. She was also late a few times. After the 2nd week, I messaged the school and basically shared by concerns that we were not getting what we paid for. The response I got was: "Third week will start the emphasis on soccer gameplay with player versus parent, player versus player, and eventually team versus team. Trifytt sees the whole group as a team. We highlight the ideals of fundamentals to set strong foundations so athletes become familiar with learning the sporting techniques, socially connect with their peers, and grow a passion for the activity. " Spoiler alert, there was no emphasis on player vs. player and nothing with team vs team. So they lied on their description of the activity to take our money and then they lied to our face to get us to shut up. The convenient add-on that they see the "whole group as a team" was the icing on the cake! Anyways, if you want your kid to show up and do the same drills with you, the parent, for 6 weeks, that's what you're getting. If you think you are getting a "team" or any moment where you'll get to see your kid run around in fun toddler chaos and play soccer WITH other kids, you aren't getting that here.
