Out of ALL the Vendors that i dealt with Tents & Events of Dover Rent all was the best. Meghan was great. She changed the contract everytime i needed & never seemed impatient. She always had a no problem attitude. The guys that installed the tent were also more than unbelievable. I will NEVER use any other company in Delaware. These people will get all my bizz. My cart said $24. $6 each and a $6 service fee. I approved a $24 charge, but was actually charged $113. There is a $60 minimum rental fee and a $49 delivery fee and taxes. The cart should have warned me that the rental fee was $60 not $18 and no mention of the delivery fee. I would have made a different decision had I possessed all the facts. They need to change the ordering program to include all this at point of sale.

While we were pleased with the rentals and CRA's willingness to accommodate our requests, there were several hiccups along the way: 1. The first difficulty was that the first 2 contracts they mailed to us included pricing errors that would have resulted in overcharging us had we not gone over them with a fine-toothed comb. 2. Secondly, the delivery of our rental on the day of our wedding arrived over 2 hours later than the scheduled time. You can imagine the stress this caused for us trying to prepare our ceremony and reception sites in a timely manner. CRA claimed they had called us the day prior to inform us of the change in timing. In the current age of caller ID, call histories, and voice mail, it dumbfounds me that a company could make that claim and not know that the customer would be aware that the call was never made.

I know someone who used to work there and i was told they were made to work 7 days a week and would be capped around 30 hrs to avoid paying overtime. That mixed with highly unethical business practices equals one crappy company i would give zero stars if possible do not rent from here unless you like splintered tables broken chairs and dirty tents
