Not only did I make a new friend, but the treatment eliminated the vertical lines on my upper lip and reduced the appearance of laugh lines and scowl lines. It's a plasma laser, which is burning with little zaps, after she applied a numbing cream, so you will need to rest, and maybe not plan public appearances for a week. Our services were not rushed. 1st off the restroom is clean and offers individual towels to dry your hands. We both got the Gloria Nails Natural special + paraffin + acupressure. This service comes with complimentary white or red wine. LT helped out to get off the old acrylic off my nails. Emily completed my nails and did my pedicure with shellac color. Tom worked on the manicure and pedicure for my sister n-law. The service, interaction, etc is amazing. I live in San Jose and have regular service but this was last minute. She rescheduled my…read moreoriginal 2/15 appointment at 7 PM to Monday, 2/17, even though her booking site showed Sunday availability and Monday as unavailable. Communication was terrible--I had to wait hours for a response or double text just to get confirmation. After confirming my 2/17 appointment at 12:30 PM, she suddenly canceled, claiming she assumed I was a male client (despite no policy stating she doesn't service men). When I clarified that I'm female, I had to rebook manually, but her site wouldn't allow it. She told me to just come and pay in full. On the day of my appointment (2/17), I reached out at 10:30 AM to confirm, and she responded only 20 minutes before our scheduled time saying she'd be late. My service was a simple loc retwist and style, but she said she couldn't do the style I requested. After three hours in her chair, my hair didn't even look freshly retwisted, and worse--she started combining my locs without my permission. I have 200 locs, and she took it upon herself to combine them without asking, saying she does this for clients with a lot of locs. On top of everything, she is a scammer. When she originally canceled my appointment, she said she refunded my deposit. While I understand refunds take a few days to process, I later discovered I was charged twice for the deposit, in addition to paying her in full with cash. This was a complete waste of time and money. China is unprofessional, has poor communication, and provides terrible service. Do not book with her!!!!!!!!!! Message to China since you blocked me Text message don't lie love and neither does bank statements why did you charge me again for a deposit I paid you in full in cash. if you had any common decency you would refund 40% of what I paid actually but no, why would I ever let you back in my hair ??? I have photos of what my hair looked like after I left. I was polite the entire time if your feelings are hurt because I'm not sugar coating anything maybe do better. Your communication skills are lacking terrible for someone in the service industry. And to be honest with you, the work that you did in my hair was so trash, but I was like you know what it's fine. I'll fix it myself. It wasn't until I started fixing it myself, I found that you had combined my locs that's why I became frustrated, that's incredibly unprofessional. You are not a Loctician unless a Loctician recommends you combine your locs for the integrity of the loc itself you don't just go around combining people's locs "because they have a lot".

I am not rough with my hands, and typically gel x lasts months on end. I went in today to ask for a refund, I did not want them touching my nails again, and they argued with me and said that it was policy they couldn't do refunds. There is not a sign or disclaimer anywhere in the store that says that. They only offered a half refund or to come back later so they could do my nails again. Why in the world would I want to repeat my experience here after seeing the quality of their work? It was shoddy and rushed and my nail beds are also destroyed. I spent hours the first time out of my day and paid for a service to be done right, and they didn't deliver. They even accused me of going home and taking my own nails off. I spent SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS, WHAT ON EARTH WOULD COMPEL ME TO GO HOME AND RIP THEM OFF? And then they told me my nails were too short for them to hold anyways. I ASKED the first time I was there if I could do shorter nails so that they would hold, and they told me they would. So I was lied to, given poor service, and then denied my own money back, and didn't even receive an apology. This is disappointing. I was excited to go here and get my nails done, and spent a LOT of money to be treated unfairly. I eventually just opted for the half refund. I will NEVER go here again and I will tell every single woman I know to steer clear of this place and just go to Royal Nails or Fancy Nails instead.
