We had excellent service from our barista, who offered us samples of the 100% dark chocolate (my favorite, I eat it wrapped in dates), and other. We ordered a decaf cappuccino and a spiced Mexican cocoa. Both were delicious. We did a self-guided tour and that was awesome. We purchased the decaf coffee beans and the 100% dark chocolate to take home. The peaceful ambiance of the inside was only made more intense when we walked outside and saw the row of gigantic pine trees overlooking the beautiful Pocono Mountains.

Paige was the barista and she was super friendly, and even offered me some buttons and handouts when I asked about their chaga matcha! Ambiance here is also nice! It's actually located inside a Fidelity bank but with plenty of breathing room to order at the cafè and sit to enjoy your meal. There's plenty of outdoor seating and corporate-esque seating inside. If you have Fidelity, you can actually get a discount on coffee here as well! Everything seemed pretty reasonably priced to me, coming out to just under $25. A great spot to stumble upon!

Unfortunately, this trip, and we've been to TC multiple times over the past three weeks, and virtually everything we've ordered had some error or omission from what was ordered and on the ticket. For example, the other day I ordered the BLT on Ciabatta - their menu specifies turkey and avocado as options to add for $2 each. I specifically asked for both to be added. Got the sandwich, and it was on the correct bread, but without the avocado or turkey. I ultimately didn't say anything as they were busy, and frankly the counter staff always seems a tad annoyed at customers. Today, two bagels - one was ordered as an everything with their herb cream cheese. The other is the Lox sandwich. It's our day to pack up and head home, so it was taken to go. Got home and the bagel & cream cheese was wrong - plain bagel on plain cream cheese - not everything and not herb. These aren't end of the world problems for certain, but these are some basic missteps that just shouldn't happen. If they were done because of an item shortage, no worries, just communicate that (nothing was mentioned). Unfortunately, Tusten Cup should be performing at a higher level than this.
