An okay option for coffee, bakery items, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and salad. Pricing seems a little high for the quality. The black forest ham, Swiss and egg breakfast bagel lacked flavor and the bagel was soft almost seeming under baked. I wished they had hot sauce or Sriracha in the condiment area (they did have ketchup, mustard, and mayo). The bacon, cheddar and egg croissant was better, having more flavor. At $9 each, I was expecting a more flavor and size, in comparison Starbuck breakfast sandwiches amcost less and taste better. We also ordered an almond milk latte and cappuccino, both were as to be expected. I appreciated that they had oat, almond, and coconut milk alternatives available, and both were priced at $4 for 12 Oz, $5 for 16 Oz, + .50c for the milk sub. Very affordable compared to prices in used to on the Westcoast.
Staff was very busy, this place seems to keep a constant flow of families being in the lobby area of Canelback Lodge. Despite the high volume, staff is pleasant and helpful. Sidenote, they cannot take tips on card transactions so be sure to bring cash for these hard working and amazing workers!
A busy location with booths and tables first come forest served. Well maintained and clean.
Overall, a convene stop in for your morning coffee and a quick bite on the go. read more
