The staff is friendly and their signature coffee which is called the black & brass had a nice caramel sweetness but was dark enough to balance it out. This is officially my go to coffee spot. So much better than Starbucks. They just came out with this ghost brew. It's so mellow and smooth I highly recommend it! Especially if you love your coffee black. I also ordered their tomato bisque soup with a cheesy baguette to go with it. Delicious! Also, indoor seating is open but I still enjoy sitting by the waterfall in the back and watching the season change. Highly highly recommend! I absolutely love local coffee roasters. When I moved from Houston to NEPA I was so happy to find Black and Brass. The coffee is delicious, they always have seasonal specialties, the teas are delicious, and the baked goods are a great pairing with the coffee. The women at the counter are always welcoming and kind when I order. They know how to make a true macchiato! The location in Honesdale has a great indoor seating area with comfortable chairs and couches. It's relaxing to sit and read or do some work or even just visit with friends. I also enjoy the outdoor space and the beautiful water falls. My son loves getting a chocolate chip cookie and watching the waterfalls. It's such a great small town find! read more

Great coffee! Stopped here with my family and we tried the cold brew, mocha latte and a specialty cookies and Creme latte. I would have each one again. They were all very tasty, not too sweet, not bitter. They are doing a good job with social distancing and masks. The bagged coffee is overpriced, but the hot/cold coffee is fantastic. Went here for the first time on Wednesday to meet a long time friend for coffee. Inside is clean and the decor is modern and subtle enough to feel comfy and cozy. Food and pastry options were nice as well. Prices were a little inflated for my taste, but the cozy atmosphere evened out the cost for me. My largest complaint is the service. With 2-3 people behind the counter, one helping someone who seemed to be an associate as they were counting and validating money, it would have been nice if the other two could start creating orders. Instead they were more concerned with talking to each other or using their cell phones. When it was our time to order, the associate walked away and said someone else would help us. Well she helped us after playing on her phone for 5 minutes! If I wasn't meeting a friend and her kids weren't already adamant about getting their treats, I would have walked out. The coffee and food can be good, but if customer service is lacking, there's a problem. read more
