Went in today for 2 tires and new brakes. The quote was just shy of $1200. They take the bike back and within 30 minutes i get a call that it needs brake rotors and a clutch adjustment And a brake fluid flush and a new seal on the top of the fluid reservoir. They also said the air filter was dirty and the spark plugs had rust on them. I get back to the dealer and they tacked on another $1200 making the bill over $2400. They got me this time but ill never go back again, nor will i ever buy another hd motorcycle. Ill do my own work on it in the future. read more

Went in yesterday for the first time with my significant other we were just looking around when my bf caught the two employees at the front laughing and making fun of us. My bf shot a look and then the male decided to approach asking if we wanted help (in a rude way) and my bf shut him down immediately and said no due to the disrespect. We were very excited to come into the store and since I'm not from this state I was excited to see the store. The employees ruined our trip and we left without purchasing anything which we had planned to do and went out of our way to go to the store. I just want to say it seems to be there's a lot of comments about the girls and apparel employees not doing their jobs and being rude so maybe yall should take a look at your team and make some adjustments or business will decrease!!!! Unfortunately the bike sold to me is need of major repair and after multiple appointments at another dealership, I'm left with no option but to spend the money. Ok covid pandemic review. No coffee on, probably not their fault but still ticks me off. Was early so plenty of parking but did notice whole lot is on side of a hill and no bike spots marked, not well thought out for a MC dealer. Polite staff and plenty of them working. Shopping side of the house seemed pretty fair or at least consistent with others on pricing and selection. Had many items on sale. Bikes were plenty but prices seemed higher than normal. Clean and decent sized plenty of room to walk around comfortably. read more

While on my way home from a trip to hang out with some old Military friends over Veterans Day weekend. I stopped here to purchase some poker chips to share from my travels. After using the restroom I was offered a coffee, and promptly asked me if there was anything I needed help with. One particular bike stood out to me, once I inquired, I was offered a test ride. On a trip to Tennessee riding down I-81 i had a saddlebag lid fly off my bike. We were able to retrieve it and stopped in for help at Black Bear. The help i received was top notch!! They had screws to fix my lid and helped me right on the spot. Extremely courteous and went out of their way so i could get back on the road. Unfortunately got a flat tire on the Parkway and had to be towed in. But we arrived at the FRIENDLIEST HD dealership that we have ever encountered. They took us in like family, economically arranged repairs and even loaned us a brand new bike to grab some lunch. Of course they tried making a deal on a new bike, that is there job... I had to pass but actually plan on returning later this year to ride the BRP and am going to pop in and buy a new bike from them then. I don't really shop price, i prefer service. I know that they are over 900 miles from home and I will not bring my new bike there for service...lol but the OUTSTANDING service that I have received from them is cause enough. read more

After Will refused and said "we do enough for military" to give the discount or refund $300.00 purchase. But had it not be a group of Harley Davidson riding police officers that where veterans too not rode up while I was on phone with will and where just as appalled as we were about military discount lack there of I would not have gotten second call saying they will refund my purchase. Totally incompetent when it comes to customer service. The motor clothes girls don't speak, no one greets you, and everyone just acts like they are there for a paycheck. There is only a smidge of fake enthusiasm from the sales staff who try their best to get you to buy no matter what. Josh has no personality and does not talk to people. Jeremy seems clueless as to what is going on at all. Jay is the only one who really seems to care anymore. I was a customer for years, but not anymore. I am not the only one either. I have seen different people on their webpage every time I check it out which tells me that they have upped their turnover rate. Parts manager is hateful if you tell them they made an obvious mistake. Admit you're wrong once in a while. Service department screwed up my buddy's bike not once, not twice, but three times! Thank god I don't pay them their outrageous rate to work on my bike. I'm hoping that this changes very soon. They are making money hand over fist by faking the whole thing. They may treat you like family at first, but unless you trade in with them every year, they quickly forget you. I understand that selling bikes is their job, but do it honestly and don't try to use mind games to force people into buying. I'll bet you see a lot of repo's because of it. This was a great dealership at one point until the Cole's started getting greedy. If there is anyone that needs replacing, it's Josh. He'd be a great used car salesman, but definitely doesn't belong in a Harley dealership. He should consider a career change. It would take a lot to earn my business back now. If you go there, be prepared to fend off the sales sharks, stick to your guns, and only buy what you can. Don't let them force you into a bike you don't want. I'm just fed up with them in every aspect. Oh, and by the way, I am in car sales and have been for years. I can spot a commission chaser from a mile away and can easily identify a poorly managed dealership. This is one of them. Your business model borders on insanity. The only reason I'm even giving it one star is because at least the place looks nice inside. That's the only positive thing about it. Take it from me and go elsewhere. BUYER BEWARE!!! We were on our way to Tennesee and stoped in at Black Bear Harley Davidson in Wytheville, Va. Just to check it out, We were not looking to buy another bike. My wife saw a biike she liked. We were meet by a salesman. He got the ball started. Ther was alot of back and forth with the salesman. I just wanted to sleep on the deal to make sre that was what i wanted. I normally do alot of research before i buy. The salesman kept pusshing for the sale today. I finally agreed to buy the bike. I was with a group and did not want to hold them up any longer. I didn't check or read things like I usally do. Wehn i got home and did some checking, found out they were over priced $5000 on the bike. Called them back and they said that It was do to market value. I did more research. All the bikes i found with a price marked were all at least $5000 less. Probabley why they were pushing so hard to sell and didn't want me to have time to think about it. read more

Just an update to my review. upon speaking with black bears accounting dept(whom were helpful) the issue of the title and tax monies has been resolved. I was reimbursed my out of pocket expenses and all additional monies that were held have been released to the finance company and applied to principle. i am told this was an issue due to the out of state sale and that they hold additional monies for this such an occurrence and that once title is clear they send funds and reimbursements as they did to me. My only suggestions would be an explanation of this in advance. Some may not have the means to pay out of pocket taxes when they get to DMV and may need a heads up to be prepared. read more
