They let her have a room no extra of course but she still had to wait most of the day. The hospital was told in detail what occurred too. Your word is everything. Honor is everything.

However, when I was in an auto accident, Mr. Cline became argumentative in regard to the quality of work vs the value of my vintage vehicle. The insurance company demands there is minimal damage and puts pressure on the repair shop to complete repairs in an unprofessional manor or the shop may get a bad reputation (Blacklisted) on future insurance work. This body shop accepted my repair work and refused to follow the estimate stating "I don't want anything to do with the plastic trim and I did not remove or repaint those pieces" as listed on the repair estimate. The fasteners that hold the plastic panels on my vehicle are loose from collision damage with loose chrome inserts that also have scrapes in the finish. The body shop tried to buff out the damage and returned the car back to me with substandard repairs. Every time we call to get the repair work finished, this shop is argumentative with unreasonable delays insisting their shop is too busy and will not honor the insurance estimate... Call back in a month, this has been going on for over a year and the trim is still not repaired to Pre-Loss Condition. This shop also wanted to do the wheel alignment with a string when not one shop within 50 miles of this location will put this car on their rack citing their shop does not have the proper tools required. The same situation with some crappy aftermarket wheel, its not OEM and the shop just wants to spray some paint on the wheel insisting its the same quality of paint that was baked on at the factory. Its unlikely the silver color or finish will match due to the use of a different paint system. A factory Certified Body Shop inspected this vehicle after Cline's Body Shop finished the repair work. A new estimate was written (1,528.24) to replace three of the four trim panels that were damaged in this accident. Cline's Body Shop insists there is nothing wrong with these panels. The insurance company insists these plastic trim panels were damaged by Cline's Body Shop due to Improper Repair and will not authorize another shop to fix the damage caused by buffing with a rotary polisher or prying the plastic panels off the car. Its going to cost me thousands of dollars in additional repair costs because Cline's Body Shop reported to the insurance company this car was properly repaired. The shop owner refused to complete the repairs because his opinion includes "there is too much work required in correlation to the amount paid by insurance." This body shop does not know how to repair luxury vehicles. There was dust all over the interior from plastic body filler requiring the leather to be detailed (several hours of work). The shop owner is not a business man, will not negotiate with insurance to authorize a supplement for underlying damages... I did not have a good experience with Cline's Body Shop.

Recently, while traveling from Florida to New Hampshire, we experienced an unexpected issue and totaled our travel trailer. Apparently, an object kicked up and knocked the spring pin off the through pin that holds the hitch to the receiver. This resulted in the stem of the lift jack plowing a 2 1/2 inch groove, approximately 100 feet long, down the side of Virginia's Route 100 and Dry Pond Road. The A-frame was bent approximately 20 degrees, the electric jack was severely damaged, the hitch itself was bent, and the cabin of the camper shifted forward about 1 1/2 inches. It was no longer safe to continue our journey. The truck driver, Darren, from Russells Garage (whom I also highly recommend), suggested that we take our camper to Johnson's Family RV, which proved to be excellent advice. Experiencing a camper crash and total loss halfway to your destination is an overwhelming situation, involving insurance, towing, estimates, hotel rooms, and decisions about whether to purchase a new camper or return home. However, Missy, Doug, Frank, and the entire crew at Johnson's went above and beyond to make the process as seamless as possible. They efficiently prepared the estimate, communicated with the insurance company multiple times, explaining our situation, and within a couple of days, we were able to depart with our new RV, and we couldn't be happier. The pricing was very fair (I verified), and the understanding and service they provided far exceeded our expectations. We looked up nearby mechanics and decided to try Clines. We called and 10 minutes later Billy was there with his tow truck and brought us (My Wife and 5 children) back to his shop. They were extremely busy that day but to my shock and surprise, Billy said he would get us up and running that day because he didn't want us stranded and for our family to get back home. They were able to find a new alternator and get it installed in just a couple of hours. While the work was being done, they allowed us to commandeer their office and use it as a resting place for our children. Tammy (office manage) was the most gracious host. Being in their office for a few hours, I also got to witness their interaction with other customers. If I didn't know otherwise I would have guessed that everyone that came in was a family member because that is how they talked and treated them. Billy got us a very great price on the alternator and the labor cost was extremely honest and fair. Also, as we were leaving, Billy caught a mistake made by the last place we had our vehicle serviced 3 weeks prior to. He noticed a missing lug nut on one of our tires. He had us pull back up (after the shop had closed) and checked and tightened all the lug nuts on the car (they were all loose). I could go on and on about so many more details of what happened and what Cline's did to go above and beyond what they had to do, to help us out in a pinch. The only bad thing is they are located a few hours away from our home. Otherwise, we would take all of our vehicles to them for our mechanical needs. Cline's staff are genuinely good people!! GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING IN ADVANCE! $4020 bill after a Mini Cooper accident on I-81. The VA State trooper called Cline's Towing in Rural Retreat. The Mini Cooper was in the road, right side up, but inoperable due to broken radiator. Cline's loaded it onto a flatbed for transportation. Initial $3420 are related to towing after the accident. Remaining $450 and $150 are for storage and second tow. UPDATE September 13, 2025 I have received a reply to my complaint with the Virginia Attorney General. I am posting it here so that it can be seen alongside the invoice. Cline's is not proposing any adjustment to the many fees charged, rather they have taken the route of claiming the fees are legit and saying I was rude (I disagree). I'd be happier to post an update that they reached out with a reasonable proposal regarding the excessive fees. I was finally able to get a ride to pick the vehicle up Monday 6/23 and I noticed the rejection sticker. It was clear the vehicle had not been moved from the spot I parked it, i.e. taken into the shop. I told the my friend who gave me the ride that 99 didn't do anything I asked. She said, "they did the same thing to me! I went in for an inspection and an oil change. They put an inspection sticker on it and said I didn't need an oil change." I called this morning.
