I really wanted to like this place. I first tried their pasta when a friend cooked it for me, and…read moreit was great, so I went there myself. I bought lobster ravioli, four-cheese ravioli, and pasta sauce. Lobster ravioli is $2.40 each so I paid $24 for the box. When I opened it to cook, I only found 9 ravioli inside. I wouldn't have written this review if it had been just one missing. Then, when I put the cheese ravioli in boiling water, I found a bug floating in it. Will I go back? I'm not sure. It's such a shame because their ravioli and sauce taste so good.

This is more like a store where you can purchase fresh made pasta of your choice and sauce. I love…read morethe idea and being able to make it at home with fresh ingredients without actually having to make my own at home and no preservatives. With that said, I was unfortunate to have encounter mold in the sauce. Luckily I didn't heat it up. There's no preservatives so it doesn't last as long. They need to have a way to date the containers for each items they make. I just bought it last night and was quite upset when I was making late dinner. As soon as I got home, I kept everything refrigerated. Luckily I didn't mix it in with the pasta so I end up using a different sauce I already had on hand. Pasta are delicious and I would come back, if I'm in the area and planning to cook it within the same day or next. I don't think I can try any of their sauce. My tip to you is to inspect all of your items prior to purchasing. Sauce are hard to look through the containers so I hope they change their ways and just date their food items since everything doesn't have preservatives. Limited parking right in front but didn't see any other customers there. The lady at the register was nice but limited English.

It's the perfect stop whether you're grabbing a quick meal, stocking up on ingredients, or treating yourself to something sweet. Inside the main pasta store, you can actually watch the pasta being made fresh right in front of you -- it's fascinating! There's a pasta counter where you can order it directly after it's made, so you know you're getting it at peak freshness. They also offer convenient meals to go and daily family specials that are a total lifesaver. We tried the lasagna special with breadsticks, salad, and a dessert, and it was absolutely delicious -- hearty, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The portions are generous and perfect for feeding the whole family without any hassle. The store carries a wonderful selection of imported items too, like high-quality olive oils, pestos, and sweet treats that you won't easily find elsewhere. It feels like a little slice of Italy right here in Tomball. Next door at the bakery, the aroma hits you the moment you walk in -- freshly baked breads, pastries, and all kinds of delightful goodies. They also have a coffee bar, making it the ideal spot to sit for a moment, enjoy a cappuccino, and pair it with one of their amazing baked treats. Everybody on the staff is super friendly and genuinely helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. There's plenty of parking right there, and they even have a rewards program so you can earn points on your visits -- a nice little perk! If you love authentic Italian flavors, fresh ingredients, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, you absolutely need to stop by Della Costa Pasta and the neighboring bakery. Whether you're cooking at home or looking for a ready-made meal, this place will not disappoint. We'll definitely be back again and again!

We decided on several jarred sauces to save for future use, gelato, and then fresh sauce, fresh pasta, and then their prepared sausage and peppers. We made all the fresh items that night and were blown away by the quality and flavor. It was so much better than Italian food from local restaurants and so fun to prepare at home. They also had super cute items that would make nice gifts. We can't wait to try more options as everything looked amazing!

Authentic Italian Food!…read more So glad my mother n law recommended this gem to me! Only Italian place in Houston that reminds me of my time in Italy, I've pretty much been all over Italy but this place gives me a more Florence aka Firenze vibe! Family owned! Interestingly enough the owner is from Florence! Customer service from Rebekah was simply outstanding and reminded me of my time in Florence where I felt as if I was family. They have fresh authentic Italian Ingredients! They have frozen Italian delicacy's you can buy like pastas, Mac n cheese, sauces, Italian sausages and more. They also make their own Italian pasta in house! They have a small coffee section, bread section and authentic Italian imported drink section. I opted in for their fresh sandwiches on focaccia bread I got the prosciutto sandwich and my wife got the caprese. My sandwich consisted of fresh arugula, (I forgot the cheese), prosciutto, balsamic vinaigrette on focaccia bread. The sandwich simply took me back to my time in Florence! Fresh and authentic ingredients! I also got a Limonata drink I forgot to take a picture of! I will be a regular customer! Tap in !

The Casetta family provides an extensive education on various products available so you know what you are getting! I was looking for something different and authentic as I have traveled throughout Italy from Milan-Florence-Naples-Rome-Amalfi Coast. So I know what they are selling is the truth!! They are available on the weekends at the farmers market for your convenience or you can stop by their store. The pasta and sauces are frozen. They also have bread available, pizza dough, and sausages from local farmers. What makes them unique is that they have chicken meatballs!!! Of course Beef meatballs are available-Both are marinating in light marinara sauce. Coffee is available and they have daily fresh made sandwiches for lunch. Dessert-Tiramisu This is my go to from now on for pasta and sauce!!! The service was amazing and they offered me a sample of a Biscotti that was to die for...I made the mistake of eating it without coffee because it was so good. I will be back to purchase more and will be bringing my mom. Thank you Casetta!!! You provided such a wonderful welcome!!!

We both greatly enjoyed our respective menus. I loved my beet carpaccio and burrata salad. The beets were cooked perfectly and were so fresh. I enjoyed my pan-seared branzino. The tamarind, lime, & habanero sauce that went with it was delicious. I was initially worried about the habanero because I'm not a huge fan of spicy food, but pairing it with the fish toned down the spice. The merengue dessert was so yummy. The service was great - our waitress was kind and attentive. The ambiance was cozy. They did a great job with the lighting and setting a romantic valentines day dinner vibe. We will be back!

Our server was friendly and made couple solid recommendations on appetizers. Two dishes stood out for me: Watermelon and tomato salad - this is my favorite thing from the dinner, the sweetness from the watermelon worked surprisingly well with the balsamic glaze and pesto, very refreshing. TexQueno - nice cheese stick made with Venezuelan cheese, paired well with the cilantro sauce. We also tried the shrimp ceviche, which was solid, but nothing too special. For the main, we went with pastas, which were let downs. For the Cioppino Linguini, the seafood was overcooked, the pasta texture wasn't great, and the dish tasted pretty bland and lack the garlicky tomato flavor you'd expect from a traditional Cioppino Linguini. The wild mushroom pasta had a bit heavy sauce, also not the best pastas, but the mushrooms were cooked well.
