Quality fresh pasta make all my Italian dishes even better! Most recently I used Fabio's delightfully thin lasagna sheets for my 9"x13" Baking Dish!

I came across this place on Yelp. My friend told me it was excellent. It is not a dine-in place; rather, it is fresh-made pasta you cook at home. I was immediately entranced when I walked in. I saw fridges filled with various pastas. I was overwhelmed but also amazed by the choices. There were sauces and gluten-free options as well. I got their four cheese pasta per their recommendation and their tagliatelle and tomato basil. When purchasing the items, I also received instructions on how to cook their pasta. The pasta did not disappoint me one bit. I often find it expensive to go out for a pasta dish, but this was hands down a lower-cost alternative while preserving the quality. As I write this post, I am still thinking of the stuffed pasta I had, and I am thinking to myself if I should stop by again this week for more of their pasta. The service was impeccable. Small parking lot, but it was also empty when I went. Ambiance was very welcoming.

I can't believe I'm just discovering this place! When I walked in, the owner was incredibly kind and took the time to explain the process of making what I bought - the sugorosa sauce and rigatoni. It was so easy to prepare, and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. The flavor was absolutely delicious!

I ordered the linguine con vongole pasta with clams, which I thought was delicious, the pasta was cooked just right, and it was slightly spicy, which I liked

If you're craving some authentic Italian pasta, you're in for a real treat! The pasta and sauce are absolutely delicious. The owner will make you feel right at home: capiche?

THE PASTA IS SPECTACULAR you can literally cook it, boil water, and eat it alone. When you have this pasta, you will NOT want to go back to your boxed/ bagged pasta from the store. The owner is personable, easy to run into. Everyone is kind and helpful upon walking in. See ya there

Super great experience at Fabio's! The owner is such a nice man and serviced us wonderfully. Gave us great recommendations and had great conversations. We tried the radiatore pasta this time and have a spaghetti and pesto to try soon. The quality is super good and the pasta is very easy and quick to cook and tasted delicious.

Those 5 stars aren't a lie! Fresh pasta and sauces available. All you need to do is purchase additional protein of your choice elsewhere to make the meal complete. Pleasantly surprised at the wine Marsala sauce. Very aromatic wine wafting through the kitchen while cooking, this isn't some watered down mix. Also a lot of chopped mushrooms inside so very glad to see money well spent. Only 4 tight parking spaces in the front, but they're a small business. Definitely worth a visit. Too bad they don't ship.

The food came out within 20 minutes of ordering but was disappointing. I ordered the creste de gallo (full portion), pesto (half portion), and rigatoni bolognese (full portion) to share. The portions looked pretty similar despite the price difference. The Creste de gallo was cold and had no flavor. I'd had this pasta in the past and remember it being spicy and yummy, but the dish I had on this visit was bland. There were also maybe less than 10 half thin slices of sausage in there and 3 slivers of onion, which seemed tiny for the $25 charge. The pesto was room temperature and was also bland ($15). The rigatoni bolognese was the only hot dish and had a little bit of flavor ($25). There was also no complimentary bread anymore which was a disappointment. They're closing soon, so that may be why the food was subpar. The interior was clean and the employees were nice enough. Parking was along the street.

She had been wanting to check this place out for a while, especially because she was searching for a good Italian market. Thanks to parking in the garage, we ended up entering through the back entrance, which turned out to be no issue at all. Almost immediately, a waiter greeted us with a warm smile and kindly offered us the choice of a booth or a table. We chose a booth for a cozier, more relaxed vibe. Our waiter was absolutely wonderful attentive, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Dinner was delicious, and his recommendations did not disappoint. The standout? The chocolate cake. It was outrageously good, rich, decadent, and easily one of those desserts that makes you pause after the first bite. The slice was generously sized, so sharing was the perfect move. After dinner, he kindly directed us to the market side of the restaurant, where we enjoyed browsing the impressive selection of Italian goods. From cookies (which my neighbor was specifically hunting for) to all kinds of specialty items, it felt like a charming little slice of Italy tucked inside the restaurant. Overall, it was a lovely experience great food, excellent service, and a delightful market to explore. We'll definitely be back.

It's not impossible as there's a garage nearby but you can't just park and walk inside. It's an old house and tables are situated throughout the house. We sat in the back room and walked through the rooms and storage/clean up areas. A little weird in my opinion. The menu is good and there is a nice selection. We ordered some appetizers - the Burrata, Caesar salad, mixed salad and arancini. They were good but not great. For $15, 3 little arancini? The mixed salad definitely needed more dressing. For the main courses there were mixed reviews from the tables. Lasagna and the Lemon Ravioli were great. The beef short ribs were good and a good portion. The Osso Bucco was a disappointment - nearly all bone and the polenta was flavorless (could have used more sauce). The desserts and coffee were good too. The bread pudding and the apple tart were tasty. The cafe lattes were good - not too strong - and they came hot enough, not burning like many other restaurants. The service was good and everything was timed nicely, from the ordering, arrival of appetizers, the main course and the desserts. We would have like to sit and talk more but we were strongly encouraged to leave at 9:30 pm (arrived at 7:30 pm) as they were closing soon.

My food choices were the pizza Terzo Cerchio, and to take home, eggplant parmigiana and lasagna bolognese (see note below on take out choices). I would rate this pizza highly. Based on my experience with the lasagna and the eggplant, I cannot recommend these as take out items that one would refrigerate and have a day or so later. Neither held up to second day consumption and were thrown out. These dishes should be considered for consumption at the restaurant, straight out of the kitchen while still hot. Melanzane parmigiana is not a dish from Parma. It is southern and a toss up on originating in Napoli, Calabria or Sicilia. Although Davanti comes across as casual, there is a certain refinement that even some higher-end Italian places lack -- for instance, recommending how to eat a particular pasta dish or swapping out silverware without being asked. Food-wise, it was quite good. My husband described it as unique. We all loved the octopus appetizer. The Caesar, however, was bland -- skip it. They had a lasagna special that was cheesy, creamy, and smooth. It would be easy for such a decadent pasta dish to feel overwrought, but it was delightfully rich without crossing that line. My mother-in-law ordered a pasta with shrimp that was one note and forgettable. We all enjoyed the prosciutto pizza, though it wasn't the best I've ever had -- but that's likely because I prefer a tangier sauce, and this one leans more subtle.

I'm already a fan of the food at Toasted Coconut so I figured it couldn't be bad. To start, we ordered the mozzarella sticks because our server said they're one of the restaurant's most popular items. They came with both a regular marinara and a spicy marinara. The spicy one wasn't really my favorite taste wise but the regular marinara was delicious. And the cheese pull on those mozzarella sticks was CRAZYYYYY! I see why they're popular. For our mains, we shared a buffalo chicken pizza and an order of the potato gnocchi. Honestly the pizza was large enough that we probably didn't need the gnocchi but we wanted to try a few different dishes. Their pizzas come in a thin crispy crust and are cut into squares which I actually loved because you don't end up feeling overly stuffed from all the bread. The buffalo chicken pizza was super tasty. The buffalo sauce had a nice kick and was super tangy! The potato gnocchi was also fantastic. It came in a pesto sauce with goat cheese which is always a winning combination for me. The flavors worked so well together and the gnocchi itself was so freaking soft and pillowy. The service was okay. Our server was attentive at the beginning but once the food arrived we didn't see much of her until we flagged her down to bring the check. Nothing terrible but it definitely was not memorable. What really stood out to me was the atmosphere. The space is super hip with dim lighting, cool decor, and great music playing. The vibe alone makes it worth visiting! Overall, we had a great meal and a really fun date night. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Before their recent expansions to Austin, it all began here in Rice Village exactly 15 years ago. The vibes are contemporary and casual, with the kind of space that fits for just about any scenario. Whether it's a solo meal, a lunch date, or a group led affair, the experience is almost always an excellent one. Start by ordering at the counter and find a seat where the food will brought directly to the table. So much of their variety caters to all sorts of dietary restrictions from vegan to gluten free to nut free. Their spicy crispy brussels sprouts ($10) are a nice starter, as is the squash "onion" rings ($12). The local power bowl ($16) is a classic and I've always enjoyed the brown rice and quinoa combo. Their chicken "posolé" is solid, and I love the large hominy bits along with the clear but green tint of a broth. The chicken shawarma bowl ($20) is an interesting mix that includes pickled beets and strawberries, along with their market cheddar burger ($17) and fabulous twice cooked fries. The carrot cupcake is strangely addicting, and I think their gluten free brownie is a bit of a sleeper. Some of their items didn't jive with me previously, such as an underwhelming cashew queso ($9), a semi-laughable Vietnamese steak bowl ($22), and their semi-gringo version of a banh mi ($15). It's not that these items are bad per se, but they definitely don't live up to the same standard that I feel their other dishes do best. Where they hit the biggest home run is their customer service. Everyone working behind the counter does their best to deliver and they almost always do by staying on top of refills, cleanups, and customer greets. I've always enjoyed my experiences here and look forward to every visit.
