Fresh Italian Coffee...

I LOVE this little place! I learned of them at the Farmers Market! It's so delicious. Their Imported Olive Oils and authentic Italian ready made Pasta is worth the trip. IF you want to cook and eat like an Italian and serve a dish that feels like you're in the hills of Tuscany, come by and buy some of their products!

The best pasta ever. You don't feel so stuff and the sauces are very tasty. Love it. I love going to the farmers market to buy my pasta.

I really wanted to like this place. I first tried their pasta when a friend cooked it for me, and…read moreit was great, so I went there myself. I bought lobster ravioli, four-cheese ravioli, and pasta sauce. Lobster ravioli is $2.40 each so I paid $24 for the box. When I opened it to cook, I only found 9 ravioli inside. I wouldn't have written this review if it had been just one missing. Then, when I put the cheese ravioli in boiling water, I found a bug floating in it. Will I go back? I'm not sure. It's such a shame because their ravioli and sauce taste so good.

With that said, I was unfortunate to have encounter mold in the sauce. Luckily I didn't heat it up. There's no preservatives so it doesn't last as long. They need to have a way to date the containers for each items they make. I just bought it last night and was quite upset when I was making late dinner. As soon as I got home, I kept everything refrigerated. Luckily I didn't mix it in with the pasta so I end up using a different sauce I already had on hand. Pasta are delicious and I would come back, if I'm in the area and planning to cook it within the same day or next. I don't think I can try any of their sauce. My tip to you is to inspect all of your items prior to purchasing. Sauce are hard to look through the containers so I hope they change their ways and just date their food items since everything doesn't have preservatives. Limited parking right in front but didn't see any other customers there. The lady at the register was nice but limited English.

It's the perfect stop whether you're grabbing a quick meal, stocking up on ingredients, or treating yourself to something sweet. Inside the main pasta store, you can actually watch the pasta being made fresh right in front of you -- it's fascinating! There's a pasta counter where you can order it directly after it's made, so you know you're getting it at peak freshness. They also offer convenient meals to go and daily family specials that are a total lifesaver. We tried the lasagna special with breadsticks, salad, and a dessert, and it was absolutely delicious -- hearty, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The portions are generous and perfect for feeding the whole family without any hassle. The store carries a wonderful selection of imported items too, like high-quality olive oils, pestos, and sweet treats that you won't easily find elsewhere. It feels like a little slice of Italy right here in Tomball. Next door at the bakery, the aroma hits you the moment you walk in -- freshly baked breads, pastries, and all kinds of delightful goodies. They also have a coffee bar, making it the ideal spot to sit for a moment, enjoy a cappuccino, and pair it with one of their amazing baked treats. Everybody on the staff is super friendly and genuinely helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. There's plenty of parking right there, and they even have a rewards program so you can earn points on your visits -- a nice little perk! If you love authentic Italian flavors, fresh ingredients, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, you absolutely need to stop by Della Costa Pasta and the neighboring bakery. Whether you're cooking at home or looking for a ready-made meal, this place will not disappoint. We'll definitely be back again and again!

We decided on several jarred sauces to save for future use, gelato, and then fresh sauce, fresh pasta, and then their prepared sausage and peppers. We made all the fresh items that night and were blown away by the quality and flavor. It was so much better than Italian food from local restaurants and so fun to prepare at home. They also had super cute items that would make nice gifts. We can't wait to try more options as everything looked amazing!

Throughout my 20 year career at a nearby Energy Corridor based Fortune 100 company, colleagues have continued to enjoy the consistent and affordable fare. The garlic bread is always the perfect combination of crispy exterior and chewy interior. Love, LOVE their salad with house made Gorgonzola dressing. (I've known multiple women who craved this salad during pregnancy!) We have served pans of lasagna, bread and salad at numerous holiday and family events over the past three decades. Always been greeted by helpful and pleasant servers, who even maintain their friendly composure during the crazy Christmas Eve rush when the pick-up line is 30 people deep and extends out onto the sidewalk. Pizza is great, too. If you are new to the area, check them out. Or, if it has been a while since your last visit, it is time to go back for Italian food that feels like a warm hug! I'm sure they are on Door Dash, but I'd recommend the nostalgic in-person experience!

The bread was addictive and really good, and the salad was decent with a generous portion. Unfortunately, the lasagna was a letdown. It reminded me of Chef Boyardee. Not fresh or authentic, and lacking flavor overall. This was especially disappointing since lasagna is in the restaurant's name and is supposed to be their specialty. I had high expectations, but it didn't deliver.

We both greatly enjoyed our respective menus. I loved my beet carpaccio and burrata salad. The beets were cooked perfectly and were so fresh. I enjoyed my pan-seared branzino. The tamarind, lime, & habanero sauce that went with it was delicious. I was initially worried about the habanero because I'm not a huge fan of spicy food, but pairing it with the fish toned down the spice. The merengue dessert was so yummy. Our server was friendly and made couple solid recommendations on appetizers. Two dishes stood out for me: Watermelon and tomato salad - this is my favorite thing from the dinner, the sweetness from the watermelon worked surprisingly well with the balsamic glaze and pesto, very refreshing. TexQueno - nice cheese stick made with Venezuelan cheese, paired well with the cilantro sauce. We also tried the shrimp ceviche, which was solid, but nothing too special. For the main, we went with pastas, which were let downs. For the Cioppino Linguini, the seafood was overcooked, the pasta texture wasn't great, and the dish tasted pretty bland and lack the garlicky tomato flavor you'd expect from a traditional Cioppino Linguini. The wild mushroom pasta had a bit heavy sauce, also not the best pastas, but the mushrooms were cooked well.

La Guerita Roasted Corn has numerous locations around the greater Houston area, but #3 happens to be in the parking lot of 99 Ranch (#1) which has practically become a landmark for westbound folks along I-10. Whether it's actual elote (on the cob) or esquite (corn in a cup), La Guerita definitely has both and so much more. The food truck is a bit larger, since it operates as two businesses: La Guerita Roasted Corn and Lesley's Sweet Bar. While the menus are distinct from each other, it's the same folks working on both. That being said, it's among the nicest and most colorful I've ever seen. Together, they sell a variety of indulgent, comfort food. Lesley's side is undoubtedly sweeter and a bit heavier emphasis on fried items from stuffed churros (#2), deep fried oreos and brownies, with a nice selection of milkshakes. For La Guerita has fries, prepared nachos, and and an intriguing big cup called the vaso loco ($12), which is layer s of cheese, saue, elote on top and bottom for the ultimate experience. My hot cheetos esquite was nicely decorated and heart despite the small cup. The counter also is also the land of do-it-yourself condiments. which include various hot sauces, chili powder, etc. The prices of other specialty carts are considerably less, but they're also not doing the same things as this one.
