Black Car Express A.K.A Black Car No Show This is a real bad company, filled with liars. Somehow I got set up with this company again and women called me yesterday in the afternoon to confirm a few pickups. And they never showed up today again. I called there office and spoke with a man who just lied and said my insurance company cancelled the appointment. I question him how since Black Car Express confirmed yesterday afternoon. Well I found out the truth, my insurance company received a call from Black Car express that they were short drivers so they were canceling my trip again. I wouldn't even go in there car service if they show up tomorrow, I cancelled all my car services that they had Black Car Express assigned to. THIS BUSINESS IS THE WORST!!!!!!!! I wish I could give this business 0 stars. They are unreliable and negligent!!! Out of the past 5 rides that we booked for my mom's return ride home after chemo, they only showed up for 3 of the rides!!! WTF?? They are not reliable whatsoever!!! The first time they didn't show up, we were told that they "waited" for the patient but nobody showed up. That is a lie, since my mom was waiting outside for 20 minutes as soon as she received a call stating that they will arrive "within 5 minutes". 20 minutes later, we called dispatch only to find out they just left after so called "waiting". Waiting where?!? My mom was outside in the cold the entire time!! The second no show was the same exact excuse. As for the third no show, we waited over an entire hour. When we called dispatch to find out what's going on, they told us to wait for another 15 minutes to an hour. So in total, we waited over 2 hours for no reason!!! My mom was hungry and fatigued from the chemo. We couldn't even go get food because they always say, the car will arrive anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. And every single time I send a complaint, we don't get any replies. WHY??? This is a terrible car service company. I wish I could choose the car service for my mom, but it's not allowed. But every time the dispatch calls Lyft instead, because the original call doesn't show, somehow Lyft always shows up on time!!! How hard is it to keep the freaking appointment?!??? Why do I have to make the pick up appointment 3 days in advance when black car express hardly ever shows up??? Every single time they don't show up, I have to spend over $60 - $75 on Uber or Lyft to get my mom home safely. We are not made of money and rely heavily on these services to get to the hospital appointments for the treatments that my mom needs. So when they don't show up, we not only have to spend a ton of money, but we waste hours and hours waiting for nothing, while hungry and tired. Black car express is absolutely the worst! Very negligent of their clients. I'm appalled and disgusted that they are serving sick and elderly cancer patients. I want to warn everyone who plans to use them for car service for a sick loved one: DON'T DO IT!! STAY AWAY FROM BLACK CAR EXPRESS!!! THEY ARE ABSOLUTE SH*T!!! I think they should change their name to Black Car Delay. Or Black Car Never Show Up! We had a return trip scheduled for my elderly mother and they told us 15 minutes. Every half hour, I'd call and they'd say 15 minutes, 7 minutes, now they're saying 30 minutes. How do you go from a return trip being 15 minutes away at 9:00 am to a return trip being 30 minutes away at 10 am? If they don't come by their next 30 minute window, I will have to cut my losses and take a taxi and train at our own personal expense. Absolutely horrible, unacceptable service. Personally, I don't have anything against them; phone operators and drivers are polite. The problem lies in management! The drivers never get here on time! My elderly mother forgot her phone in one of their cars a month ago and we still don't have it back. They acknowledged they have the phone but it's one excuse after another as to why the driver hasn't brought it to their headquarters so that we can pick it up. The customer service is horrible, the office employees and the drivers are rude (that's a whole other story) and their lack of empathy is shocking for a company that specializes in driving the elderly. Horrible service! My pickup time was 3:00, car arrived at 3:56. The first time I called, I was told the driver was around the corner. Called again, the driver will be there in 8 minutes. Stay away! 25 minutes late on both pickups the first time. Today it's been over an hour and still no one is here. Calling is useless, as they'll just claim the driver is 5 or 10 minutes away and ask you to call back, again and again. I wish I could give this service 0 stars. I am a cancer patient and I need transportation to and from treatments. I scheduled my service like I always do and they were set to arrive at 9 am so I can be at msk at 11:00 they arrived at 10:30 after I called 4 times every time I called they had a different excuse why they were late and even said the driver got into an accident I'm sitting in the car now the driver tells me he didn't get into an accident obviously and then says we have to pick someone else up. So my appointment didn't mean anything to them I called black car service again and the lady says that's how it is. Really? This is how you treat cancer patients? Who are getting paid quit well from my insurance carrier. Don't use them!!!! read more

Completely agree with other reviewers - this company is undependable and doesn't honor the scheduled pick-up time! Called numerous times and the dispatchers gave unbelievable excuses as to why the driver was late and I ended up having to reschedule a crucial appointment. We have been dealing with this company for 8 weeks now transporting our mom to and from her day program. There are been a couple of times where the morning pick up has worked out seamlessly. Otherwise, we have been lied to, misled, and uber drivers have shown up to get her. She must have door-to-door, person-to-person service. We do not know why ANYONE would contract with this company. They are also often 30 to 60 minutes late. Like the last reviewer said, they lie and say the driver is 10 minute away. Horrible, horrible company. WARNING READ REVIEWS BEFORE relying on this SHITTY Company" very unprofessional!!! Words cannot express the disgust I experience yesterday. Had an appointment to go to and figured medical transportation would be a better option. my appointment was at 3:00pm they were suppose to pick me up at 2pm but instead they pick me up right when I have my appointment. so of course I had to call the the place I was going to and let them know the situation. thankfully they understood and still accepted me. But once I was done.. had a return pick up scheduled at 4:30pm so I waited at the front of the place for them to return.. well it's almost 5 still no show..... waited by the door. nothing no call.. so I called them back and get told that it was put down as a no show.. because the guy was there which is bullshit because nobody showed up and I kept on calling them and they kept on telling me he was on his way. only to be told they couldn't do anything else for me so i was left stranded.. at an unfamiliar area.. late at night.. so if you want to save yourself a headache I suggest looking into finding a better service to deal with because they sure as hell ain't it.. read more

TOTALLY UNDEPENDABLE!!! THIS IS THE WORST CAR SERVICE THAT I HAVE EVER USED!!! I have massive spinal stenosis & can not walk well even when using my cane. I just had my right hip replaced, my left shoulder & arm replaced, in addition to having my 4 lower lumbar discs L5-8 surgically repaired & replaced; all 3 SURGERIES WITHIN 365 DAYS DURING COVID!!! I no longer drive; being unable to work, I no longer can afford to keep a car on the road. Plus I've had multiple other surgeries & procedures within the last 10 years, with at least 12 or more procedures all done in the same time period during these most recent surgeries while everything was restricted due to covid! I constantly require follow ups to my doctors, plus pain management, psychiatric evaluation, & constant physical therapy every week! I try to keep my schedule simple; physical therapy the exact same time twice a week on the same two days - eg; Tuesday & Thursday at 10:20 AM; pain management every 4 weeks at the same time & day, & the same kind of sequence for ALL OTHER DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS!!! I have my monthly schedule posted on my refrigerator calendar with pick up times & confirmation #s all posted at least one month in advance with the same company (Black Car Express) listed as the transportation provider. THEY ARE CONSTANTLY LATE!!! SOMETIMES THEY DON'T EVEN SHOW UP!!! This is after calling back multiple times & getting told by the dispatcher that "they swill be there in about 10 minutes"! Then when I call back to find out where the driver is, I get told that "it will be another 20 minutes because the driver is still bringing other customers home to their destination"; in other words, lying to me that "they're on their way" when in reality, they haven't even left yet! I could understand if this happened only once or twice, but this is consistently happening to me! And lately, it is getting worse!!! I leave myself usually about 45 minutes to an hour travel time for ALL of my appointments & ALL of my doctors, therapists, nurses, & hospital workers are generally within a 5 mile radius of where I live. And I live 2 houses off a main highway that is used to get to ALL of my appointments! Today I waited an hour & 20 minutes past my regular pick up time, after being told that they were running 10 minutes behind schedule. I missed my appointment & my appointment was cancelled. My therapist was kind enough to reschedule me for a later time because of a cancellation. The dispatcher told me that they would get me within 20 minutes so that I could make the rescheduled appointment; 30 minutes later when they still didn't show up, I called back & was told that they still hadn't left yet. I contacted my therapist again & she said that she had to cancel me again because she had an evaluation to do at a specific time & that her boss & her schedule wouldn't allow her to fit me in at any time later in the day! This really sucks because I really need my physical therapy & now I have to wait until next week's appointments before I get seen again! This makes it so much harder for me just to be able to get through the weekend & hopefully not having to go to the ER! Black Car Express doesn't give a shit about their customers & their needs & is the absolute worst transportation provider that I have ever encountered in my life! Being a former dispatcher some 25+ years ago, I know all the angles of the business & have never over booked any of my own customers; I have even referred many of my own customers to other transportation providers that I have been friends with just to keep a customer happy. But at Black Car Express, your medical concerns are not a priority & their only concern is making $$$!!! They lie to you just to get your business & then don't provide you with the on time service that they promised you! I WOULD GIVE THEM A "ZERO STAR" EVALUATION FOR PERFORMANCE & SERVICE, BUT UNFORTUNATELY THIS SYSTEM DOESN'T ALLOW ANY RATING BELOW ONE STAR!!! DON'T EVER USE BLACK CAR EXPRESS!!!
