Shawna has years of experience, is so talented in her craft, and is wonderful to work with. Shawna made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! I normally wear minimal makeup in my daily life, so for my wedding I was concerned about looking way overdone. Shawna absolutely nailed what I asked for. She made me feel like a more elegant, polished version of myself. She knew right away how to accentuate my features but still have a natural look. The touch up kit made it easy for me to fix my lip color in between photos. For my hair, Shawna did an amazing updo that I never would have been able to do myself! I gave her some creative freedom with the hairstyle and was so happy with the result. An updo is not easy with my hair because it's very thick and heavy, but somehow it stayed in place all night through lots of hugs and dancing. The lash extensions were done a couple days prior to the wedding. She had a few different options ranging from natural-looking to more dramatic. I loved that I didn't worry about sweating or crying off mascara or strip lashes during my wedding, and they looked beautiful! I was a lash newbie but Shawna gave me easy instructions on how to care for them. The process does take a couple hours if you're getting a full set, but it's absolutely worth it. I definitely recommend scheduling a trial if you can, to give you the opportunity to try different options ahead of time, show her inspiration photos, etc. It made me feel much better going into my wedding day knowing we already had an idea of the look I wanted. I have had eyelash extensions before and the experience was at times uncomfortable. Cindy has a very steady hand so it never feels as if she is tugging on my eyelids or eyelashes. She listens very intently to the look I'm going for and is always happy to adjust the size of the lashes to what I'm wanting. Cindy has a very comfortable table for me to lay on, offers a blanket if I'm chilly, and wraps my hands in shea butter and puts them in warmers. This is an incredibly relaxing experience, much like a massage, and at times I fall asleep which is shocking considering someone is working on my eyelashes which are very sensitive. She is happy to chat if I want to chat and also happy to just focus on my eyelashes while I relax if desired. A perfect balance for me :)

Cindy made sure to match the length/type of lashes to what I had. She could have gone with longer lashes, but understood that the length would have to be limited due to my glasses. They felt a bit weird at first, but not any more odd than fake lashes. In fact, they were way more comfortable than falsies. My lashes looked fantastic! I didn't need to use mascara for a month and they held up really well - in fact, I went sailboating just a few hours after my session and not a single lash was out of place after being in thrashing winds for half a day. None of my old outgrown lashes were ever removed, instead they would just glue a new fan of lashes on the old fan of lashes on top of a single eyelash. Over the course of 5 months I was left with almost no natural lashes left due to breakage. It took having to go to another lash tech to tell me how damaged my lashes were and to not go back here. I started getting my lashes done in March- and there are some women that can go years with lash extensions before this kind of thing happens. I'm definitely not going back. As nice as the people are there- I need to care for the health of my poor lashes.
