The customer phone service is inadequate. The phone tree and wait time to get assistance is very poor.

I am beyond frustrated with Xcel Energy…read more The power goes out far too frequently, and what is even more infuriating is the complete lack of communication and transparency with customers. We are expected to pay increasingly outrageous bills while receiving unreliable service and little to no meaningful explanation when the power goes out. Customers should not have to constantly wonder when their electricity will come back on, why it went out, or whether anyone at the company even cares. We pay our bills. We hold up our end of the agreement. Xcel Energy needs to hold up theirs. And when customers actually try to get answers, customer service is extremely frustrating. Representatives constantly pass the responsibility from one department to another and refuse to take ownership of actually resolving problems. Customers should not have to spend hours chasing answers and accountability from a company that we are paying hundreds of dollars to every month. The cost of electricity is already putting enormous financial pressure on families. People are struggling to afford basic necessities, yet we continue to receive bills that feel completely disconnected from the quality and reliability of the service being provided. At this point, it feels like customers are viewed as nothing more than a source of revenue. There needs to be accountability, better communication, more reliable service, and actual concern for the people who depend on this company every single day. People are suffering. We deserve better than excuses, silence, and enormous bills. Xcel Energy needs to start listening to its customers and treating them like human beings--not just account numbers.

I would give negative stars but I'm not given the option I was reading these reviews and every…read moresingle one of them except for two are all one star reviews. And then the other two reviews are just two star reviews. How are you guys even in business? Funny someone else had already written that in a review.. I'm flabbergasted! The customer service is not even subpar. We've been fighting with them because they keep saying we have a 1000 gallon tank on our property when we literally only have two 500 gallon tanks but they're charging us for 1, 1000 gallon tank and a 500 gallon tank. Our invoice on installment says two 500 gallon tanks why they switched it to 1000. I'm not quite sure but I think that's illegal and it's called fraudulent. So this also means that the contract we have with them is now void because they are in breach of that contract! An it's their own contract. The guy when we called the customer service line asked us why we paid the bill if it was wrong? Do you wanna sleep in the house that's 32°? It's warmer outside than it is inside. And another telling sign that the contract is now void is that we are forced to make a payment due to economic hardship. The customer service people are ignorant. We were on the phone for two hours. When in the first 5 mins I said I wanted to speak to a manager. The guy try to handle the situation on his own, which clearly he was incapable of doing so an hour and 45 minutes goes by an he was like well I can't help you with them. I'm gonna have to transfer you to my manager. Well, no sh*t! 15 minutes later, they hang up on us after waiting on the phone for two hours!!! Every time my husband has me call they tell me I'm not on the contract or I'm not on the paperwork so they can't tell me anything. I was the original owner on the account! I'm the one who made the first initial appointment now all of a sudden I don't have authorization to discuss it. Im the one who made the account! And then when my husband try's to put me "on the account" they never add me. I went onto the website and added my number in hopes hopefully they'll talk to me but still no! There's no communication from the office to the customer service center. They do not communicate AT ALL! When you tell the people at the office that they're charging you for 1000 gallon tank and it's a 500 gallon tank they won't even look at the receipt that states that they put two 500 gallon tanks on my property they just tell me well talk to the driver. What does the driver have anything to do with my account? That's not his job! He put down two 500 gallon tanks because that's what's on my original receipt! The office had to have changed i! We've also been charged with late fees even if the bill was paid in full! They also are charging us for maintenance on the propane tank that is rented from them. They are supposed to take care of the normal wear and tear on the propane tank, not us and they charge us a service fee of $300 to service their propane tank. My husband and I just got out of a lawsuit with Christian brothers because they took off with one of the trucks for three hours and stole all of our shit out of the truck. So we sued them and we won. Looks like this is gonna be another one of those cases if we don't get any resolution ASAP. And yeah, we even signed our rights away for a NO jury trial. The judge was the jury and we still won! For the simple fact of stealing and being in breach of their own contract. I'm so sick of big corporations feeling like they can take advantage of people it's so disgusting to me the lack of integrity these days is beyond me! Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves! And why is there a no run out contract but I still have to go check the propane tank to see if it's getting low on propane in order to call you to let you know that my propane is getting low. Why is there a no run out contract if I'm still having to call them when I'm running low to order more propane. It should be a self monitoring contract not a never run out because we have run out. If it's a no run out contract shouldn't they know when it's going to run out? They don't monitor it? The contract doesn't make sense! It should be, You monitor, you call us, we fill within the month.

Then, the next day, when they hadn't delivered, they claimed on the portal the request had only been placed today and it was no longer emergency. The folks in the Phillipines who take the calls are kind, but have very little ability to provide information on dispatch. No local number to call. Once the tank is full, we will cancel and go to another provider.

Summary: Honest and straight-forward company to work with. Not only are their prices at or below…read morewhat others charge, I also feel very confident that they are not upcharging for unnecessary services. Highly recommend. Sewer main replacement (clay) Oct 2024: Sewer Lines Only (SLO) scoped and replaced my outdoor 90yo clay sewer line. They said the internal cast iron was solid, and I was scheduled within the week. Hyperflow's estimate said the cast iron needed replacement. The team of 3 was on time, worked independently, and was able to put the fence back up that needed to be taken down. No issues, until 2026. Sewer main backup (May 2026): "Flushable" wipes got caught on the rough interior cast iron, and caused a backup. Fit-It-24-7 came and cleared the clog, and sent a second tech to do a scope, with the water OFF. Both techs said "Look at the high areas (yellow in the attached pic) where the cast iron is 'trenched'. The high sides are the pipe, and the in the section with the muddy water, that's where it's completely rusted through, and leaking sewage." They quoted a 8month teacher's salary to do a repair. SLO came to do a scope. The tech (Cameron - very intelligent guy) kept the water RUNNING, so his scope had a clear view of the bottom of the pipe. "The cast iron is rough, so it snagged the wipe. It's in good shape though." But - what about the trenching? "Look here - the water is clear, and you can see to the bottom and see the cast iron. What looks like a 'trench' is just decades of built up residue/oils. The pipe is beneath that (see green circle in my pic) There's no leak, but I recommend a rotary chain to resurface the cast iron, to remove rough areas that snag wipes." The cost was 99% less than the bogus quote.

I honestly can't say enough about this company. This is my second repair with Sewer Lines Only, a…read morecollapsed secondary line replacement in 2024 and a collapsed lateral this month on a 120+ year old duplex in Sloan Lake. I was 7 days from closing on a sale, the line was discovered during inspection. The other duplex owner was rightfully out of her mind because the line ran under her beautiful stamped patio. Sewer Lines Only recommended tunneling under the patio from my property. We had (I'm counting....) 7 very reputable sewer companies quote this job. No one else mentioned going in from the side, and when I circled back to ask, none could. SLO's quote was 25% lower than the next lowest bid (thousands in savings) and 50-75% lower than most bids. So I was hesitant. Enter Joe from SLO - a project manager or engineer? He was so confident they could do this job from the side (really confident, not salesy confident), he made himself available to me at any time to explain the work but never once called me to "seal a deal." He probably took 20 calls/texts from me. I took the gamble and got on a plane to Denver. Jerry and his team showed up promptly for the job, were professional, courteous, and thorough. The line was fixed, no patio or fence demo required. When a possible additional leak was discovered with scoping, Joe came out and confirmed personally that there was no issue. Enter Monica in Billing who went the extra mile to figure out how to split invoicing to bill the other owner her portion and free my property up for sale. And did it gladly. Intelligent, progressive solutions, lower-cost, personalized service - same as in 2024 when I worked with Cameron. They dug a trench in my garage and repatched with concrete. No issues 2+ years in. I'll never use anyone but SLO.
