I had never tried matcha before, but a friend recommended their version with vanilla or lavender, and oh my gosh, it was creamy, smooth, and totally addictive. I seriously didn't know I could love matcha this much! Pappa Thai's summer rolls are another go-to. They're fresh, flavorful, and honestly hit the spot every single time. Light but filling and perfect for walking around with. And I can't forget Proud Pickles, they're such a fun little stand, and I'm absolutely obsessed with their items. Sweet, tangy, spicy, you name it, they've got it. I'm giving 4 stars only because I wish there were a few more vendors but I understand Gainesville is a small town. Visited the Winter Garden Farmers Market this past weekend, and I have to say that this is probably…read morethe best farmers market in the Central FL area. Parking was easy, free, and conveniently located to all the festivities which is a huge plus. This is also one of the few local markets where I've actually seen a large selection of fresh produce and and farm goods available. It was refreshing to see so many people bring their market bags on wheels, wagons, etc. ready to purchase fresh fruits & veggies and support our local farmers. Beautiful watermelons, tomatoes, papaya, lettuces, corn, peppers, zucchini, and more. There's a good mix of vendors ranging from jewelry and handcrafted goods to food trucks and specialty food items. We got mango coladas, mango flower with tajin, breakfast tacos, and of course, kettle corn. Huge plus that there is the downtown splash pad for all the kids to play right in the middle of all the action. It was a HOT one and this was a great way for my little guy to cool off and burn some energy while we sat and enjoyed our food. If you have kids, I highly suggest they wear their swimsuits and bring some towels to dry off.

It's ok I'll be back and will update my review with my thoughts but for now I'll focus on "The Green Spot" which was open and one of the vendors I really wanted to check out (we love plants)! We met Jen the owner who was very sweet, friendly and welcoming. She let us try the daily lemonade flavors which were all quite unique, we all got our lemonades and omg I'm in love with the guava/lemonade topped with blueberries, rosemary and a pasta straw! It was super refreshing! We just moved to the area & it was great learning about the history of the shop and other surrounding facts. We bought some herbs and we'll be back to get plants once I've got time to tend to them as moves can be very hectic and I'm still getting settled.
