Stopped here for the first time today in between work calls and very happy we did. The Mountain Dog iced latte (maple spice) was delicious and smooth. The Meat breakfast burrito was hearty, more egg than meat, but made fresh and hot. The staff were super helpful and friendly and handled the Sunday morning rush well. Such a cute vibe once you're in the door. They offer a variety of seating - tables and chairs as well as sofas in the back. The staff were very kind and their recommendations were all fantastic! We were in town for 5 days and went 4 times it was so good. The Golden Doodle and Guinness were favorites on the main menu and the Mountain Dog on the seasonal was fantastic. Loved my visit here! I needed a place to study and a good hot drink in this freezing weather. I chose this venue at random and I'm so happy I did! The barista/cashier was so welcoming and patient helping me decide what I wanted. I told him I like my chai more sweet than spiced and he said it was no problem and made me one of the best chai tea lattes of my life. And the vibes are great here. I was able to study and also enjoy that dogs are allowed in! For my studying/working people: tables and chairs are comfortable and spacious. Nobody bothered me. And bathroom is clean. Absolutely recommend and I'll be back during my visit to the area! read more

We ordered our typical 6 shot latte with heavy cream. They made it as perfect as it gets, top notch !! We are on another long road trip. We see a different coffee shop every day. Such a cute hipster-esque coffee joint in Republic!! Love how all the furniture and coffee cups were different, made it feel fun and unique. Definitely not like any of those chain places. The baristas were very friendly and helpful, exactly what you would expect and love about a small town shop. Very clean and well organized, can tell that they take pride in the way the place looks. Great, and wide, selection of both drinks and food offered. I got the Goldendoodle specialty drink iced and a veggie burrito. The drink was delicious, but very sweet so I wish it was offered in a smaller size. The burrito was good but a little soggy because of the eggs and cheese. Overall we all enjoyed what we ordered and would return if we are ever in the area again. read more

Hence, my delight as a new resident of Republic to find that the friendly barista at Heroes understands "the force". I have visited three times and EVERY time my latte is good. What is good? Good is a quality latte that starts with espresso brewed well and milk steamed correctly. (If the machine screams, they don't know how to steam). Espresso is a building block for milk-based drinks like lattes and cappuccinos. The sweetness and fattiness of milk can help mask a bad shot, but rank espresso is tough to ignore even with a pump of chocolate or vanilla. My lattes from Heroes have been smooth, creamy and delicious not bitter, burnt or overbrewed. Baked goods are pretty good too. Atmosphere is nice. Free wi-fi. Convenient location. i've been here 3 times. 2 of the times were on weekdays, where the atmosphere was relaxed and quiet. i love coffee shops for that reason alone. the girl with the colored hair made my caramel iced coffee to absolute perfection both times. the 3rd time i went was today, saturday, and it was busier than i've seen it the last two times. the lady in front of me ordered 9 drinks, but the team of 3 in there made the drinks in such a timely manner and had my order done in no time, breakfast burrito included! when i was sitting down, the line was growing and growing but the baristas showed no worry, they kept greeting them like they had been long time friends with these folk. it was so amazing to see great customer service in such a fast paced environment. and once again, never have i tasted such good coffee! and they make my custom order perfect EVERY time. i see myself as a regular customer here. thanks guys, you're awesome! read more
