The team took down about 13 trees for me in about 5 hours and they were clearly experienced. However, the clean up process left me wanting more. Unfortunately the team showed up a day after a heavy rain and my entire back yard took a beating, as did the lot next to me where they drove the log truck and bobcat. Additionally, the road in front of my driveway was covered with mud and I'm in a community with an HOA. I asked Josh about clean up, and he said the team would rake it over and clean up the road before they left, which they didn't. Josh even said he would come back and help me spread grass seed and straw over the lot beside me if I would go purchase, which I did but he never showed. I even asked if Josh would come back after the stump grinding to help grade the back area and I would pay him over his normal rate for two hours of work, and he agreed. That's where the transaction went sideways. Josh was hard to get in touch with and never showed back up. He didn't call to negotiate for more money or anything. The few texts I received just said I will be out this weekend or sometime next week. Three weeks later I called and left him a voicemail and said not to worry about coming back. I was left with about 25 hours worth of work and additional expenses for equipment rentals. Just beware what you are getting into when you hire for tree services. I was left with a mess for a backyard, many hours of labor and several hundred dollars of additional expenses for more work to the area before it will be considered "finished." Might be wise to ask your contractor these types of questions upfront and avoid unmet expectations. Price was competitive, tree work was good, cleanup and communication was poor, and follow thru was lacking. Best of luck if you choose these guys in the future!

We didn't know til the next day that: 1) He had not cut down the 2 gumball trees. 2) WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION, he had cut down to the ground several 8-foot tall ornate bushes that we had been growing for 10 years. 3) WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION, he had pulled up our 20-year old rose bush by the roots & tossed it off to the side. This rose bush had sentimental value to our family. I didn't find it til several days after Felipe left our property & it was too late to save it. When Felipe 1st came to our home to give us a quote, I told him that I am an avid gardener & care about every plant on our property. I told him he needed to tell his crew to be careful & respect our gardens. He agreed to do that. Since Dec. 28, I have phoned & texted Felipe many times. I emailed him 18 times detailing all of the above issues. On Jan. 5, he replied to 1 text saying he would come back & cut down the 2 gumball trees. Today is Feb. 23 & he hasn't been back. He hasn't responded at all to my complaints about the damage he did to our plants. No apology or offer to replace them. The fall was perfect and did not damage other things around it. I also had a tree that had fallen and they chopped it up for me and stacked it neatly, asking how long I wanted the logs for firewood. It was cheaper to keep the wood. These guys are professional and their price was less than half the next lowest bid.

He and his crew began work the following day. They had some unexpected challenges with large limbs, given the location of the tree, but worked through them over several days and kept me fully informed so I was not concerned at all. If you end up spending less but get really crappy service, in the end you have to ask yourself was it worth it. They showed up a day late without so much as a courtesy call to let me know they weren't going to make my appointed day/time. When they finally cut my tree down, when it fell it destroyed a floral arrangement I had. They went and replaced the wood but it wasn't until later that I saw that they didn't replace all of what was destroyed. They did a horrible job of cleaning up and left my yard in complete shambles. My sidewalk and driveway are permanently scarred and chipped. Dale tried to assure me the long marks would 'wash off' but it's permanent damage. Dale got very belligerent with me as l pointed out the damage they caused. I had to sternly tell him he needed to lower his voice and calm down. As if that wasn't bad enough they left 80ft of timber in my yard for a week and a half. After waiting the 2 or 3 days Dale said it would take I began calling them daily. He stopped answering my calls altogether. I left message after message without hearing back. Finally I got through after remembering that dialing *67 hides your number. This trick worked as Dale answered and I told him he needed to come get these logs as it was killing my grass and well past the 2 or 3 days he said it would take. He yelled back at me telling me and I quote 'there's nothing like I can do' I told him to come get the logs or I was seeking legal action for the logs amd the damage to driveway and sidewalk. He hung up in my face but an hour later a guy shows up to take the logs. I do not recommend these guys as they are unreliable and not true to their word. Yes my tree is gone but the damage they left wasn't worth the cheaper price I paid. Not at all! CAVEAT EMPTOR....BUYER BEWARE!!!
