I waited a few days and messaged her, still nothing back. So I decided to go elsewhere, Villa Rica Ink which was WONDERFUL AND better pricing. I wish I had read through ALL the reviews for this place before I wasted my time going there as apparently this has happened to others before with other artists!!!!! Everyone seemed nice enough and the atmosphere was okay, I obviously can't comment on the work but I'm not the type of person to waste my money on people who apparently don't need my business. They were extremely diligent in their adherence to sterilization protocols and examination of my initial piercings. Because of Randy's careful examination of my ears, only one ear needed a full re-pierce and the other ear just needed a slight stretch in the piercing. It was much less painful this time around than it was 20 years ago (w/a piercing gun at Claire's!). I had such a great experience here I would definitely return and get additional piercings! My ears healed well (different experience than the first time) and I'm excited to wear earring again!

So when I finally decided it was time, I made the trek all the way out to Carrollton on a Saturday afternoon. After speaking with the desk guy, I was advised that Jules had some availability later on that afternoon. Perfect. After wasting a couple of hours at Arbor Place mall (I do not advise ever putting yourself in the position to have to do that), I headed back to the shop. I showed Jules what I was looking to get done and he worked with me on making a few modifications. When we were all done, the piece looked exactly as it was drawn up and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Jules did an outstanding job and has definitely earned himself more business from me! The shop is super clean and situated in a small house. The music here is awesome and the guys that work here are fun to talk to. Parking isn't an issue as there is ample space in the lots outside. They do accept walk-ins, but do yourself a favor and make an appointment.

When I finally had the chance to say why we were there she said it wasn't possible for us to look around because they are an appointment only shop. I get businesses have policies and she may have been overwhelmed with the load of the day but her delivery was very rude and off putting. It's unfortunate because we would have booked an appointment if we saw what we were looking for but I wouldn't trust someone so rude to pierce my skin.
