After tons & tons of research to see which music production school would be best for me I finally stumbled across Anonymous Studios! The biggest drawing factor for me was the fact that Anonymous provided students with a 1-on-1 learning environment. For someone who has never even opened Ableton I knew I was going to need all the help and attention I could get, so what better way than your own personal instructor?! After inquiring about the classes they offered I was contacted via phone call appointment by Jessica who would further breakdown all that they offer at Anonymous. She had suggested their 4 month course on Ableton that would cover both mixing & mastering would be the best option for what I was looking to get out of their program. Jessica had even set up an appointment for me to come check out the studios in person & get a tour by the main man himself; Hem, who is sort of the man in charge & oversees the entire studios. After the tour of the studios & an extremely detailed discussion on their courses & the opportunities that would present themself by being a student there; it was a no brainer, I had settled on where I wanted to go to learn Ableton! My overall experience was nothing short of absolutely amazing & extremely insightful. In the four months that I was in the course I learned more than I could possibly imagine. From knowing absolutely nothing on Ableton to composing melodies from scratch, composing full tracks, learning my keys and scale, and also mixing down & mastering my own tracks, it was nothing but an informative learning experience. In that time I had 3 instructors in total, where I spent 90% of that time with one instructor who's name is Morgan. Morgan's vast knowledge of not just the DAW but also synthesizers was something that absolutely blew me away, & only inspired me more to work hard towards my goals. Working on those projects was also really easy considering that Anonymous offers free studio time to its students which is absolutely crucial in this learning environment. One must continually practice what they're learning here or else all the niches & tricks obtained from learning here will only deteriorate. I would take full advantage of this free studio time because the rooms offered here are absolutely stacked with the highest end/best gear for production. I would put myself through 1.5 hours sometimes even 3 hours of traffic to drive here from school all the way from Riverside. So when I tell people this is the only place to go when you decided you want to take your music career to the next level; I mean it. They provide you with all the tools necessary to get you exactly where you want to get to, whether that be music production or DJing. The instructors & staff there are all about one other & truly make you feel like family. There simply is no better place to better than Anonymous Studios.
