I purchased a Wildwood vape from this store earlier in the week. I didn't open it until Friday…read morenight, only to discover that the product did not work. As you can see from the attached photo, the device is clearly unused and in essentially the same condition as when it was purchased. I went back to the store expecting a simple exchange for a defective product, but they refused. I was told it was store policy and that I was "supposed to test it at the store" before leaving. I've purchased these products from this store many times in the past, and not once was I told that I was required to test the product before leaving the store. If this is truly their policy, customers should be clearly informed of it at the time of purchase. Instead, they expect the customer to absorb a $50 loss for a defective product that the store sold them. I understand having policies, but refusing to take responsibility for a defective product, particularly one that is clearly unused, is extremely disappointing. After being a repeat customer, I expected much better customer service. I won't be returning.
