My son and I came here on Saturday with my brother-in-law and two nephews. Despite my apprehension, we walked-in at 10am without a reservation. This was not a problem at all. We were checked in and set up with gear in no time. We purchased the Elite package and were set up with a face guard, 500 balls each, canisters to hold our balls, and a paintball gun. We had one referee who guided us between compounds all day. Started off slow and easy and progressively worked up to more complex setups. Our group grew throughout the day. We started off with about a dozen on the first group and by the last one we had about fifty. We were all pretty much exhausted by that point, and wrapped up about four hours later. A few bruises, but no broken bones and we all had a blast. Would come back again. read more

Got here at 830 for zombie paintball 4 adults and 4 kids It's now 1145 and we still haven't gone. We had the zombie paint ball/haunted house option Instead of sitting here for 3 hours we could have went down the road 1/4 mile and done the haunted house. No one said this would take this long. i haven't done the regular paint ball, had a rough experience with the zombie paint ball but a horrible experience with the haunted house... with the zombie paint ball, it opened at 7, we got there at 710 sure there's a line but only two people working the front took us almost an hour to get in. then after we get in we waited 2 hours due to people not getting text that its their turn. like that's insane but we finally got through for a 12-15 minute trailer ride which is fun for little kids but older is meh. however the haunted house... me and my sister in law were going to the portapotties which to start with as a girl SUCKS, not their fault, but as my sil is peeing a security guy named brock smacks the back of it and shakes it...he then walks around and we are mad. sil comes out very frazzled because who just hits a portapottie while someone is inside. instead of apologizing he starts making jokes then asks if we want to pay for a ride in the hearse, i say no, not interested, we both said multiple times "that wasn't funny" and never once apologized, finally after i told him we are 100% not interested and are very upset he finally ask "are you alright" no we're not. so we go complain to the ladies and they start making excuses. "lots of people do that at haunts, we don't agree with it but it happens" like okay then you better be ready to deal with the consequences. and saying that the portapottie is unbalanced. no it wobbles when someone shakes or smacks it hard. so we ask for a refund because we've wasted our whole night spent too much money and got harassed. lady says she is unable to do refunds even though she's the owner... lol tells us go to the black ops, young man working the counter was very nice and understanding and gave us our refund. i'm very disappointed, i've gone here a few times and never had a bad time. read more

Booked a party to celebrate my son's birthday. Did not disappoint. Staff was really great, our ref was amazing, and they had a huge selection of fields to play on. We were there for three hours and had a different experience every time. Trust me if there was any way that I could give more stars I would. Brought our children out (ages 6-10 2 boys 2 girls) out for their first paintball experience. The three older kids had a blast, despite the fact that the low impact balls do still sting a bit. There are only 2 fields that LI groups can use, which is fine, just wish that the spots that get super muddy had some sort of cover over them (but it's no big deal). The staff was friendly and our ref even tried to help the kids with strategy. With the exception of the youngest of the group (she did NOT like being shot) we plan on making more trips out. read more

I would not suggest doing the hayride zombie hunt. There is only one iteration at a time of 30 people that takes 20-25 minutes. So you sit in a cold warehouse with nothing to do for hours for your turn. Unless you are one of the first to go, or pay another $20 for fast pass, it is not worth this wait. I will never pay extra to do this in the future. They need to run more iterations. read more

I would not waste my money. Did the Zombie shoot. We were told we are going to have you do tje Haunted House so wait wont be so bad. Haunted House was probably a 4. The Zombie ride waited over 2.5 hrs $80 bucks. The actual 15-20 minute zombie shoot would have been great if they ran more than one vehicle at a time. read more

I've been to a lot of paintball fields over the years. Some just small fields, some large fields and a lot of in-between. I've been to Woodsball only fields, Speedball only fields and to fields that are both. This field is all that. I've been to this field four times now and I can not believe how well it's run. The staff are young but they are very energetic and very knowledgeable. The prices are what got me, very good prices! Air stations are easily accessible, nets are in great repair, sup air field is to die for (Artificial Turf), hyper ball, numerous different woodsball style scenario fields and much more. Marker techs...the whole nine yards. This place is great. Look, these reviews are great but if you want a true idea of what this field is like, go there one time and I know without a doubt that you will love it. read more

My son has had his last 4 birthdays there, and has loved it each and every time! This year he switched from their paintball to the airsoft, and it was raining, and cold, but all 12 of the boys had the best time ever, best car ride home! I highly recommend this place. I had a large group of 30 adults come to play this Sunday at the Socastee, SC site. The referees and paintball park were outstanding. They were extremely organized , they were considerate to our party and allowed us to take breaks between games, the courses were exciting and we played several different games in 3 hours. I would highly recommend black ops for a party or to make a hobby out of it. Several of my friends are now considering a yearly membership. Thank you black ops for an amazing time! read more

Paid $100 just to rent two paintball guns and play. The wait takes forever waited 1 1/2 hours for the first game. If this is your first time paint balling don't come here. People act like they paint ball for a living and buy the most expensive equipment to crap on all the new kids. A kid took off his mask in the middle of a game and someone who had the really expensive guns shot the little 6 year old boy in the face. They have a lot of people wearing military issued uniforms and never served and act like they are so tough. There is military banners everywhere and when they asked if I was in the military they gave me 4% off, like it was a slap in the face. Most places have way better discounts for military members and they are over here acting like they truly appreciate the sacrifices made. 10/10 do not recommend read more

Staff was very friendly and our Ref was really nice and let us have breaks in between. Forgot his name but definitely gonna request him when we come back. I've been here in the past with my boys, and it was OK. We wanted to do the Zombie Paintball, and finally got around to it this year. After paying $70 per person (4 of us), we showed up when it opened at 7PM. We were also told (see other reviews) to go to the Haunted House down the road and come back for our shooting experience. The Haunted House was a joke. Looked like they bought last year's broken props from Spirit Halloween. The whole place was black and you could barely see where you going. Plus, the walls and doors they made had 2x4 supports on the floor, which made for a tripping hazard every time you went from room to room. It was a total joke. I will also inquiring with the Fayetteville Fire Department and other agencies to find if they were even approved and authorized to put such a thing together. I know of one little girl who fell behind us. So, we get back to the shop for our shooting experience, and pick up our extra bag of paintballs (100 for $5). They were put into a zip lock bag by young girl, maybe 12, who looked like she was not having fun. Might even call that 'child labor'.... We sat in the waiting area for 2.5 hours with our little number sheets and wrist bands. The whole time, I kept watching people who came in after us, go before us. Finally, I went back to counter and asked why people keep going in front of us, when we were there at opening. Keep in mind, it is going on 10PM now. I was told by a very rude, smart@ss young man that those people had Fast Passes! They could be purchased for an additional $10 each. What? Pay another $40, just to go on an experience I already paid for? He told me that Disney World does it. Wait, you are equating Black Ops paintball with Disney? Really? That is some serious BS and over-hyping crap, if I've ever heard. Stay away from this place. The experience is not worth what they charge, and they a not customer-friendly. The boys got tired of waiting, and I had to work the next morning, so we left. They got my money this time, and for the last time. I told a friend of mine who takes his company employees there once a year what happened, and he said he'd never go back. You've been warned Fayetteville......... read more

Place is awesome and the staff is super helpful. They can tailor your event the way you want to guarantee you leave excited and wanting more. Did mention they have indoor bathrooms that are clean and not a porta-potty like other paintball fields. Best of all they have refrigerators to keep any surprise ice cream cakes or cakes in general until your ready to serve them. Highly recommend this place for any party or get together. read more

Took my son yesterday for his first time playing paintball. The staff in the last few weeks have been great getting him setup with equipment and explaining everything to him. It was great to see the support of the walk on and more experienced players encouraging him throughout the day. Will definitely keep coming back. read more

Took my son out to play and he was very excited. When we arrived, had to wait because the cashier was talking to I guess friends, but stopped fairly quickly when they seen we were waiting. My son really wanted to play on the blow up field but was told he couldn't for some reason. I was under the impression that when you paid money to play at a facility you could play any field there but apparently not. However, all the players looked to have automatic guns so I did not argue the point and figured it was for more advanced players. Also, the way those players were speaking one another, I didnt really want him to be there anyway. Seemed like ownership, or manager condoned the actions and just ignored them. So, there were a few other players playing in the woods so he joined them. I met another mom who was really nice. Was her first time as well. So had a pleasant time speaking with her. After a game or two, he seemed to be having a fairly good time, my son came to me and asked to leave. I asked him what was wrong and he lifted his second shirt, had on two to cover him, and he had been hit several times with several deep and bleeding badly. I asked if he told the referee and he said yes but they told him, "It happens" and nothing was said to the grown man that did it. So, I took it upon myself and approached the gentleman who shot him, who was clearly a regular due to interactions between him and other players and staff and clearly inebriated and drinking openly at his vehicle. He just laughed and did not want to hear it, saying "wow". Several of the Pro looking players walked by during conversation and one stated, under his breath, "he just needs to man up" and they all began to laugh. We immediately left and so did the other mom with her kids. This place is the most unprofessional place I have ever been to and will definitely stay away from there forever. My child's moment of excitement turned into a nightmare. If you are looking for your children to be treated like an outsider and get hurt, and nobody care, this place is for you. Definitely, not for my family and many others I'm certain. read more

This field is by far one if the best, if not the best in the south east! I have been to fields all across the country and Black Ops is top notch. The pro shop is second to NONE and staff is phenomenal! All patrons are treated with respect and kept safe at all times. All the staff is professionally trained and handle all issues when they occur. The owner puts his heart and soul into Black Ops, and it shows wherever you look! With close to 80 acres. It has something for everybody! read more

I scheduled a party for my daughter at black ops. I was pleased with the place but not with the service. I visited the place twice before the party day to know what was allowed and what was not and I was mis informed big time. My party was at 3 and at this time all trash cans inside were full and when I asked about it I was just told to put the trash beside it...really. I was told I was going to have outlets and I was assigned to a table with no outlets so thankfully they were able to move my stuff to the ONLY ONE WITH OUTLETS. Next the organization. party members go to the front to fill out disclaimers, then they send us to the back party table, then once we are all there we go back up front to get tagged for the party, then go back to get the guns then go to the tables and wait for the staff to show up then go to fill the guns then we go put the hair then we get on the field to play members against members (which by the way was not what I was told on the phone)....by the way we actually got on the field a whole hour has passed. We were rushed to play because of the waiting time waiting for guns, and refilling when I booked my party two weeks in advance!! way to many steps and poor poor coordination on the staff. read more

I have been going to Black Ops Paintball since January 2012, its fricken AWESOME. This is the best paintball field/ Airsoft / Sims on the east coast I think it has everything! it's very community friendly veteran operated and veteran friendly also ! from what it was back then until now is like night and day! The improvement come everyday, from the number of employees from 4 to 15! The crew out there are very knowledgable friendly willing to set up just about any scenario you want to play from one on one to military size company on company, it's that big. For the Fayetteville area you can't beat the fun you can have out there! Yes it's a little ways out but for the 20 min drive it is a great place to spend the day, bring your lunch or shop in the grocery store located there with a Pro Shop that carries all the latest paintball accessories, the paintball field has everything, honestly! 100,000 sq ft break room, rooms and shower facilities for teams that come for weekend matches and training! It's on over 40 ac you have speed ball field, urban village with car props, bunkers, towers, tunnels, woods, obstacles, water if you bring your friends I guarantee you to have a great time!
