Quite a good find. Took my 11 year old grandson there and he was thrilled. The staff was friendly and helpful and above all extremely knowledgeable about climbing. They have all the equipment you need on site and gave you a good introduction about climbing. You can even take lessons. Everyone can go and climb there from young children to adults and with any experience level. It was a great place to go especially during those hot hot days of summer. Helped my grandson keep his muscles toned and ready for soccer and track . Special shout out to Ruth for all her help and encouragement. If he lived here I would take my grandson as often as he wanted to go. read more

Huge thank you to the staff at The Climbing Place! We had a great time visiting family who took us here while we were visiting from NY. We had kiddos from 3yo-11yo and everyone had a blast, they didn't want to leave. The staff member who gave our husbands their class was knowledgeable and friendly! Everyone came around to assure that we were having fun and tips on great places to climb and ways for the extra Littles to get engaged in their area. I love this place. They have several walls so even if its a little crowded, it will be plenty wall to climb on. The staff was very very very veryyyyyyy helpful. She took sometimes to guide us how to put the climbing equipment on, how to operate it. I will definitely bring my kids back here again. Love it. They charged $11.00 per person. Friendly staff. The boulder problems are changed up regularly and are manageable by both pros and novices. My daughter is 8 and she can handle the easier sets, no problem. They run weekly specials. Wednesday is military day, 10 bucks will get you gear rental and unlimited climbing all day. You can also stand in awe at the aerial fitness that is being practiced. There was a small young blonde kid (employee) that wouldn't let us in the climb cause "we are closing to clean up for the night" the time on my watch was 8:02pm. Closing for them was 10:00pm. My brother and I were very dissatisfied with how they closed almost two hours early to "clean". Complained to them and told the manager hopefully he does something about it cause this not the first time they did this to me. But definitely the last because I've been going to triangle rock club. Super fun and you get some really great exercise. It doesn't look like much from the outside and their sign has a guy that looks like Howard Stern climbing a rock, but once you get inside there are plenty of different difficulty walls to keep you busy. Great place for a date activity. read more

Fantastic place we didn't even know existed right in our own backyard. It was great to see Dads with their kids keeping busy! Great for all ages. Nadia was outstanding! I brought my 2 grandchildren there a few weeks ago, and they had the time of their lives! Nadia spent soooo much time teaching them, motivating them, and even showing them games to play. Moved to Fayetteville last summer and when I went in, there was no staff to be found. Anywhere. Finally someone came by to help me and they acted like I was inconveniencing them by wanting to come to their gym to climb. Maybe they were having a bad day or something. I didn't like how dimly lit it was in there and I wasn't very impressed by their boulder problems. They didn't seem accurately rated. read more

Good climbing walls however not having Air Conditioning on a 98 degree day is asinine. To make matters worse they had a large fan in the entrance door pulling in hot air. Not a fun time for anyone in our group. When they first opened they had Air Conditioning. Air Conditioning is an imperative during NC summers. read more

this in my opinion is the best place to climb in fayetteville, the staff is friendly and they have great hours. the walls are huge and there is plenty of tracks to climb. you can free climb or boulder up to 13 feet and there are even kiddie walls, so if you are new to the sport or want to bring your children have no fear they have just what you need. Also there is a large retail portion (the largest retail climbing store in fayetteville) for all of your climbing needs. they also give on site lessons and have a youth climbing team that teaches them the fundamentals and gets them off the couch and out of the house for a few hours also teaches them team work and physical fitness. if you are looking to get in shape this is a great place to do it. one section is dedicated to free weights and excercise oriented equipment. all in all a reall great place to find a new hobby, bring your kids, or work on your own physical fitness. ps- they do birthdays and give arial acrobatics lessons which is really cool... read more
