I went to several spots and none impressed me. They didn't seem like they cared. Well I was headed out to dinner and next door to where I was going there was a tattoo place. I looked at the pictures in the window and thought let me pop in and get some information. There was Cesar, welcoming and engaging. He said if your I interested check out my portfolio. I went home and did! Very impressive. So I wrote and made an appointment to meet. The response was immediate. It was a wonderful experience. He took his time asking me about what I wanted, why I wanted it, what it meant to me. I knew then, He was the right one for me. He explained how he does it and asked me my thoughts. He didn't push in any direction. Today I had my tattoo done and it was a dream catcher on my back and I love it! He was gentle and kind. The time passed quickly and the end result was perfect! Although I was never lucky enough to get a Patrick tattoo, I received many from his artists over the years..today I went for a consultation with Raul at Speakeasy (who has tattooed me in the past with Beautiful results) I always liked Raul and really liked his energy and vibe..Anyway, today I presented him with a few ideas and imagery..the image attached is a "Love" Star of David that adorns both my Mother and Fathers gravestones...Raul told me that it dosen't align with his morals...wow! Not sure if its "Love" or "Jews" that offend him..but either way..I was insulted and embarrassed infront of my wife. I was so taken back that I said I understand and left without issue...but as I think about it, I am very upset and disappointed. If nothing else should overcome religious beliefs..its art! What a letdown...

I originally came to Cozy Nails to get a standard manicure, but the owner talked me into getting a UV Gel manicure. I was sold when she told me that the polish will not chip for 2 weeks. To have my steadfast color of choice, Lincoln Park After Dark, not chip for two weeks was too good to be true. And so I caved. Wow, was this woman meticulous. Even though she had a few customers waiting, she took her time with me and made sure each layer was evenly applied and had ample time to dry. The result: a perfect manicure that took OVER two weeks to grow out and chip away! Best of all, it only set me back $35 all in, which is fairly reasonable for UV manicures. In case dark colors aren't your thing, Cozy Nails has a whole spectrum of UV gel colors, as well as standard OPI and Essie polishes. Be sure to snag one of the business cards - after 10 visits, you're eligible for a free manicure.

No welcome greeting when walk in, No smiles from anybody. The staff is talking loudly from across tables. Cannot hear music- not calming, relaxing experience. They believe that talking on the cell phone on speakerphone loudly or listing to videos in another language- while doing the clients nails is acceptable. I told my nail person that i would like to have some quiet and listen to the music. That was after at least 10-15 min. of a loud conversation on speaker phone. He was insulted and amazed that I dare ask him to end the conversation. He rudely got up and left the store. I was told to wait for another nail person to be free. I waited again- for a significantly long time- because at that point my polish was removed and my nails were raw. Finally, Anette finished my nails. She did a horrible job. Never did she offer a smile- an apology- anything. She continually was talking high volume to the surrounding tables the entire time. My nails are sharp and I can scratch myself leaving marks on my skin. All new staff here. Avoid going. Not friendly - Not professional- Totally rude staff. There are too many nail salons in this area. The only thing (Besides cleanliness) to me with choosing a salon is CUSTOMER Service- and obviously they have none. Go somewhere you get a smile and a welcome. And they do not perform a customary "Light back/shoulder" massage afterwards. Which every other nail salon I have ever gone to has done. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The new owners have no clue how to treat people with respect and curtesy. The customer is always right- Even with the language barrier - They should learn to treat people with respect. The place is always empty now- didn't need any appointment. Old owners knew how to treat people. No respect- No professionalism- No business. Be forewarned. Find another salon who will treat people better. Do not give them your business.

Prior to meeting Babiery, my calf tattoo was 2years in the making. I thought about it constantly and this time around I was worried that the final design would not live up to my thoughts. I went to countless tattoo artists wanting to have them do it. However, I was always turned off my one thing or the next UNTIL I saw Babiery's work. I DM'd him about the work and he was excited to do it. It was an instant connection.We met for a consultation, went over some ideas and picked my colors. The next time (TATTOO TIME!!), he had his iPad (I think it was one) and started to show me the sketches. I was amazed by his talent. While getting my tattoo. We talked and listened to music and he told me about his work. He is truly an amazing person and tattoo artist. I will definitely go to see him again for my next tattoos. He's my guy now!

There was no confirmation of my appointment and no tip that it might be in a private home . I'll never know since they didn't answer the phone.
