I booked a dermaplaning on their website. No where did the website mention they will also do a chemical peel. I was also not told beforehand and only told afterwards!!! This is ASSAULT. My face is burned and they would not take responsibility. They said it was a mild peel which clearly it was not. Why would you put a chemical on a client's face without their knowledge or permission? I had a appointment for a facial and being my first time there I put the address into my gps. It led me to a residential neighborhood with private homes . With no obvious signs of a Buisness I called the buisness and got an answering machine . At this point I'm 15 min late circling around . No call back I call again no answer again just an answering machine. Needless to say I had no facial and no call back . There was no confirmation of my appointment and no tip that it might be in a private home . I'll never know since they didn't answer the phone. read more

Bernadine (the owner of the establishment) and Gina (the receptionist) are such nice people, they made the visit very comfortable. I went in for micro-blading and the way Bernadine was attentive to detail was highly appreciated. She took about an hour to outline the shape I was going for, but also understood how anxious I was about it looking "too fake" and assured me that she would use a color that suited me and also a shape that looked natural, not too overly done (which is what I wanted.) Now, I did research of course, and I don't know if it's just my skin or what, but I did bleed a lot for the procedure which is not good because all of the ink basically pushes out. Still, the shape was pretty good when I got it done. Did I look like I had Cruella-Deville eyebrows? Yes. Lol. But that's a natural expectation because color is added PLUS the scabbing/blood. All adds up to this very dark look hahaha I highly recommend doing this when you're NOT GOING TO WORK OR SCHOOL- think, break. I went for my touch up 5 (?) weeks later and she added more to wherever I lost color and if she needed to spruce up the outline, but again I bled :/ which I wasn't happy about. Again, I stayed with her because obviously the follow up was with her, but also her bedside manner is really good, so I didn't feel like it's a horrible decision to go back because I was getting compliments at work and from family and friends that my eyebrows looked great (when they simmered down lol) I ended up going back with my mom for my mom to get a facial from her and she LOVED IT. She got a microdermabrasion and was completely satisfied, her face was glowing and so soft! And at that time I had Bernadine look my eyebrows over and she could see how the color faded still, so she suggested I come in for another touch up, but with a single-needle point instead of the Microblade. I know, I know! You're probably thinking what the heck?? But remember, once you do micro-blading, you need to go in every 1-2 years to fix them up anyway, so if I'm in this I might as well make sure the foundation is solid. So, the following week (this is about 3 months later since I did it the first time) I went in for the single-needle... and what do ya know I was still bleeding... but not where she worked on already. I'm giving 4 stars because the services were good and her work is good, but I just don't know if it's my skin type that couldn't handle the needles to make me bleed? (I am sensitive to nickel, and I never mentioned that which was dumb of me, so ask her if that would be a problem before you started, I guess.) I originally had given this establishment a whole 5 stars but I may have jumped the gun a little too soon. When the procedure was first done, I got caught up in the excitement and didn't reeeeeally look at the work. Once I got home and noticed a few things, I called them and was assured that everything would be corrected in the follow up visit. Fast forward 5 weeks later and for whatever reason, there was more bleeding than the first time. But I was trusting that all would be good and I would have the perfect eyebrows I had been hoping for. Unfortunately, that was not the case. As the healing process happened, I noticed that the eyebrows were not symmetric at all. They arched differently from one another and were not equal in length. I immediately contacted someone else who does microblading and she asked that I send her pictures. Her first response was in regards to their lack of symmetry. I made an appointment to see her. When she got a better look at them, she asked me if it was actually just microblading or was the machine used. She was surprised when I told her it was only the blade because she saw so many things wrong with the work even from the direction in which the hairs were drawn and the inconsistency in the shapes. When I mentioned how there was a lot of bleeding and pain during the process, she explained that that is what happens when the cuts are too deep. Long story short: one session and one follow up the second time around and I am thrilled with my PERFECT eyebrows! It's true what they say, however: when you try to get something for less money than most (thank you, Groupon), you end up paying way more in the end. It was totally worth it, though. At the end of the day, yes Bernadine and Gina are extremely pleasant and I am sure the other services they offer are top-notch. I just would not recommend going there for work on your eyebrows. read more

I have very sparse eyebrows and for the last two years I considered having microblading done to enhance my eyebrows. Today I took the plunge!! I have eyebrows. I adore Bernadine. Her work is top notch and she goes out of her way to spend as much time as needed to get the job right - unlike so many other places that rush you and are money hungry. I've had facials, lasers and permanent makeup with her - all were great at reasonable prices. A word for all the complaints on here about microblading/permanent makeup eyebrows: It is well documented that some skins won't take the color or the microblading no matter who does it - it's always a crap shoot if it works at all - it's human skin afterall, not paper, so not everything is going to work on everyone and results vary. Please keep that in mind no matter where you go to get it done. And as for bleeding, some people - like myself - bleed more than others - afterall, you are putting a blade into your skin. read more

Terrible experience with micro blading. I brought in a picture of exactly what I wanted my eyebrows to look like. Bernadette said "no we are going to use your natural eyebrow shape." When she was finished they were not symmetrical. I went for my six week touch up hoping that things would improve. I waited a few months after that had healed and noticed there were spots missing in the eyebrows. When I called to say I needed them fixed Bernadette told me that I should have brought a picture of what I wanted. Really? When I first heard about micro blading all of my information said to make sure you get somebody really good to do it with references and pictures. Wish I could go back and do that. Now I'm trying to stencil my own eyebrows at home I need to save up so I can get them fixed somewhere else. read more

Folks with dark skin beware, they do not have a YAG laser. You will need 2-3 rounds of treatment at 2-3 times the cost to remove your hair. The reason is, the laser will need to operate at a lower setting in order not to burn your skin. Unfortunately, they don't mention this when you buy a Groupon!
