Six months later, we contacted them again, explaining we were ready to move forward, but that we didn't know what style we wanted. Steve said he'd been thinking about our home and had a unique idea in mind. We worked with him to design the concept, and Steve was wonderful the entire time. He took the time to explain to us how everything would come together, and to walk us through all of the material and design choices. He was also so friendly to all of us, including my mother in law and young children. He even had our little ones make hand prints and write their names with the date at the bottom as the final step! He said he would be here the next week and he showed up as promised. He tackled three jobs. First, we had some paver stones that settled below the cement causing a trip hazard. Pete made all the stones level. Second, we had some sidewalk slabs that were sticking up due to tree roots. Pete took care of the tree roots and put down nice new level cement slabs. Third, we had two cement sidewalk slabs that were tilting from ground settling. Pete took care of raising the slabs to level again. Overall, great job by a professional, friendly mason. Price was very good compared to a couple others I contacted who wanted a ridiculous amount like $8K. We have a very flat short one-car garage driveway but can fit 4 small SUVs. Anything more than $4K for my particular driveway is just being greedy in my opinion. Clean up was good and they said they use the best asphalt out there, smoother, lasts longer and doesn't require immediate sealing. That can be done in 2 years, but we'll probably do it next year to keep it fresh looking. Thanks NVN!!

IM LANDSCAPING & MASONRY TO THE RESCUE!!…read more Since the pandemic, our patio was in desperate need of a refresh; take out the weeds, clean the bluestones and put poly sand in the joints. After getting several estimates, we called IM Landscaping and spoke to Freddy. He was able to come to our home and give us an estimate to do the work, which was fair and reasonable. Freddy and his team arrived early the next morning. I loved the fact that they were very thorough in removing the weeds, digging deep to get the root balls out. After that, they power washed the entire patio, even behind the condenser. Everything was so fresh and clean!! Due to the rain forecast, Freddy thought it best to make sure the stones were thoroughly dry before he installed the sand. He returned the following week and completed the work. Several neighbors immediately commented on how nice our patio looks. We're sorry that we didn't take before and after pictures to post. Do not hesitate to give IM Landscaping & Masonry a call. Joe and Annalise have been extremely responsive and delivered on all, including this week's aeration, top soil application and reseeding. Like Steve K pointed out they also vary the direction of their cut, reducing the potential for tire damage. So far...A+ Keeping my fingers crossed for fall leaf care and dead heading grasses!
