We moved to Johnstown last summer from another state, I did a lot of research on the town and this establishment popped up in articles and comments A LOT! Came very highly recommended and with good reason. The first official Johnstown restaurant I visited, plus, I'm totally a coffee and crepe girly. I love the old building, has charm and is staffed by friendly people. I am always greeted by someone right away when I walk in, and they always patiently wait and never make me feel rushed as I peruse the fairly well stocked menu with fun names for different coffees and crepes. I love supporting our new (to us) town, and will say, this is the only shop I've seen with town specific merchandise. (Well, besides Buc-ee's) and have purchased a couple Johnstown mugs and magnets. I'm more of a sweet crepe lover, with Baby One More Time and Breakfast at Tiffany's being my favorite as well a variety of coffees, but the breakfast sandwiches are always a hit, and when my parents visit, my Dad likes trying different savory ones. They recently did a little remodel inside with cozy couches, lamps and books! I love it and am so happy our town has such a cool coffee shop! read more

Food: I had the No Diggity Crepe, and 3 meat sandwich - toasted. The sandwich I enjoyed, and the bread was good toasted and warmed. I liked all of the meats, and the fresh tasting tomatoes and lettuce! The crepe was good, I liked crepe itself, it was a good taste and flavor, and with the cinnamon sugar it was good. The frosting I did not enjoy, it was way too sweet for me. Service: The food came out quick and there were a lot of people working there. All the workers seemed pretty nice. Atmosphere: I liked the brick walls and the fun bicycle lamps, but there was a leak in one of the pipes when I was here. Overall: I would say the prices are decent and I like the community based feel. read more

Very friendly staff and will allow the pizza place called Dominic's to bring your pizza to enjoy with a beer air custom cocktail! Excellent crepes! I had turkey, Brie cheese, apples and with cranberry sauce that was absolutely delicious. Hubby had ham and Brie cheese and enjoyed his too. We also split a plain bagel too. Highly recommend. read more

Nice coffee place!! Big place with ton of space to sit. Also, modern, super clean and they have a big menu including crepes and pizza (from Dominics). They also have a patio space on the back of the coffee shop. We ordered a Nutella and banana crepe and an Italian soda. Delicious!! Also we ordered a take out pizza and it was great. read more

I love the coffee, they have a lot of variety & great flavors. I occasionally enjoy some wine or other alcoholic beverage. It's great you can order food from Dominic's & eat it here. I do wish there were vegan food options at the coffee shop. I also love the live music during the summer. read more

They serve margaritas at 9am. Enough said! Great local place to have brunch. They have plenty of seating and the employees were super nice. For a small business in a small town you would think they could manage a simple website. There have been several times my daughter and I have planned to go for dinner only to find they are closed. I do realize they are a coffee shop and not open late all the time so I check their website to MAKE SURE they will be open! I'm super frustrated because I really want to love Black Sheep because my kids love crepes and sometimes I don't feel like making them, but they mess up my food every time we go. I am vegetarian and every time I order, they get bacon in my crepe. Every single time. It's usually just a few pieces and I pick it out (still annoying and gross because it's usually after I've taken a bite and notice it in my teeth) but today the bacon was throughout the whole thing. I don't know if they cooked it with the eggs or the veggies or maybe didn't clean the pan after they made my husband's crepe with bacon, but it's gross. What if someone was allergic to something and they didn't use a new pan, didn't clean it, or cooked it with someone else's and the person got sick? That's pretty much how it is for me. I don't eat meat. It will make me sick. I wish they realized that people want what they order and not whatever they decide to mix in. I love supporting local, but we won't be going to Black Sheep again. read more

My husband waited for 10 minutes to be helped and they continuously ignored him when he asked for help. We wont be going back unfortunately.

This place has some of the best crepes I've ever had. Almost as good as the ones I had in France! The coffee wasn't that great but the crepes totally make up for that. read more
