Unblended smoothie

Half of my smoothie was unblended! Not even joking there were 4 big chunks that were not blended so I had to use a spoon so I could drink around it. It tasted good but I couldn't even drink 1/3 of it. The patio is nice as well as the interior and the cashier was super friendly. Don't get a smoothie or instead ask them to actually blend it.

My chai cup was flavorful and satisfying, and the café's charm--rooted in community, local sourcing, and solid hospitality. I loved the atmosphere and friendly service. Mugs offered a warm, enjoyable experience.

I love the energy of this shop. You instantly feel welcomed. They have a ton of different types of seating which I also appreciated. I will say the menu is slightly confusing. They have items listed as vegan though parts of them are not. So we ordered the vegan pretzel that comes with cheese and mustard. Because the item was labeled vegan we assumed all aspects were vegan however after ordering we were notified the cheese was real. I wish things were labeled vegan and vegetarian to help clarify this confusion. The matcha was incredible and I enjoyed every last sip! The vegan bagel sandwich I had was pretty filling and good as well.

Been here a few times now... most recent stop was a quick stop for road coffees and was truly impressed. The interior atmosphere has all kinds of nice appointments and great seating options. There was a steady flow of customers and the service was spot on... take 4-5 minutes to get the two coffees. Big White Whale is a hazelnuts, white chocolate, Irish cream latte..... WOW!!!!! Fantastic drink! London Fig with Almond Milk; my wife said it was tasty.... That's definitely a 5 stars compliment!!

MUGS thermos are leak proof. Oh my! Stickers on site for last minute mementos.

I would love to stay on route back from morning but their hours begin when my evening shift ends. GREAT choice for all ages!

Mugs gets it right every time. Service, variety, quality. My go-to Old Town coffee shop. Grabbed a latte on my way to FoCo Pride festival & was treated to another great experience thanks to the Saturday morning staff. While I normally come for coffee, there's a terrific variety of food options as well. The chai spice bowl (June special) was a hit! Yum!

Two visits in as many days. My lovely college kid suggested it (& he doesn't even drink coffee!). Situated on College Ave, it was still east to find parking. Yesterday there was no line around lunch time, this morning there was a line but it moved quickly and there were still plenty of tables both inside and out. This place has a nice coffee house vibe. There are pieces of art on the walls made by local artists available for purchase. Now on to the food! Yesterday it was lunch time, so my companion and I shared a Colorado Chicken Mac and Cheese. It came in a huge bowl and was so creamy with just the right amount of green chili to give it some heat. The chicken was well cooked and flavorful and balanced the richness of the cheesy goodness. We were able to finish it, but there's no way I could have done it alone. For dessert we split a lemon bar. It had a nice amount of chewiness to it, reminiscent of a lemon bar I had in Silverton (can't remember the place offhand but I know I yelped about it!) This morning I got a specialty latte (goldfinger with cinnamon and caramel) and a breakfast burrito. Both were delicious. Inside they also sell art work from local artists as well as some of their own shirts, mugs etc. They make a point of highlighting the various local businesses from which they source ingredients and services, which gives it a warm community feel. My only objection (a problem for me but not them) is that it was both busy and loud, so I would have a hard time if I were trying to work (like I said, an issue only for me). I would definitely be a regular if I lived in FoCo.

The service here is always pretty good. They'll explain menu items and give suggestions, but they're not overly helpful with suggesting add ons so you have to ask specific questions haha Overall, the coffee is fabulous and it's a nice spot to sit with friends. What more could you ask for in a coffee shop?

Please please please bring back the chickpea toast! It's one of the reasons I love this place so much.

Had the best mocha here. Loved the ambiance and the service from Abbott and Mandi was exceptional. Will definitely be back.

Woefully disappointing breakfast. Toasted bagel apparently means "burned to a crisp" at mugs.

This is our "go to" Fort Collins old town coffee. Opens at 6 AM, and often there for a great day's eye opener. Greet food too.

Much better coffee available around town. Espresso martini: 5/5 very dark. Great place to work with colleagues or alone. People seem to like to meet up here and talk vs work though. The bar almost resembles something you might find in a small European hotel, which may suggest they are aiming for a slightly upscale tone, though it never feels pretentious. The seating is varied, with small tables and retro chairs that seem intentionally chosen rather than bought in bulk. The spacing is better than most coffee shops, which makes it easy to settle in without feeling crowded. The back area opens up even more, and the soft drapery adds a touch of personality that appears to hint at events or just a bit of flair. The staff continues to be the standout for me. Everyone I spoke with was kind in a way that felt natural, and they knew the menu well enough to help me navigate dairy free options. I usually order the avocado toast on focaccia because it is consistently fresh. The bread looks oversized at first but is airy and soft, and the avocado and radish topping feels simple in the best way. The matcha made with water has also become a go to since it tastes smooth and well-bodied without that chalky, thin finish some places have. My partner and I visited during their Dia de Los Muertos weekend and tried a few themed items. Everything was good, and they were quick to suggest dairy free choices. Prices seem fair, even with the general bump everywhere lately. The only thing I wish they had more of is outlets. It is still a nice place to work for a couple of hours, but coming with a charged laptop helps. The overall vibe is calm with just enough energy to keep the space from feeling sleepy. It works well for coffee dates, casual catch ups, or solo work, especially for anyone who prefers a relaxed atmosphere without too much chaos.
