To be totally transparent, I honestly am not the hugest fan of donuts, so my opinion may not be the most informed. There's plenty of room to park and I like that they stay open a little later than many other places that offer donuts. It's more spacious than I thought it would be inside and there are a few tables to sit at. The trash cans looked a little full and one table had some sugar spilled on it but other than that it was clean and warm. Donuts are displayed in a case by the register. There were a LOT of choices and I remember it being mostly unlabeled so I kind of had to guess based on appearance. There was a menu on the wall but one couldn't necessarily 100% reliably match the listed items to their counterparts in the case. Not a huge deal, but would be a positive change imo to add labels next to the actual donuts. Anyway, I wound up with a chocolate cake donut, a blueberry cake donut, and a chocolate glazed regular/fried donut with peanuts on top. The woman operating the cashier was supremely pleasant and really made my visit - she was just so warm and friendly. She threw in a couple donut holes, either as a kindness or perhaps because they were nearing closing time anyway. Regardless, the were appreciated! I brought the donuts home to my husband and we ate them for dessert later. He likes fried donuts more so he got about 80% of the fried (I wanted a little bite lol), I ate the blueberry donut, and we split the chocolate cake donut and donut holes. The holes were airy and had a nice vanilla flavor. The traditional fried donut was a little dry and the glaze a little waxy, but the peanuts were a nice addition. The chocolate cake donut was heavy and the sugary exterior was crackly in a way I didn't particularly love, but it was tolerable. The blueberry cake donut was my favorite part, as it was fluffy and not overly sweet. Again, I tend to be kind of hard on donuts because they're just not my favorite treat, so definitely give them a shot and see for yourself how you feel about them. I think it's technically a dairy bar, of which there are several remaining in the north Alabama / southern TN area - a few of which are also, somewhat confusingly, named Kreme Delite. However, the other dairy bars I've visited have slightly more extensive menus than this one (usually including chicken tenders, burgers, and other typical fast food items, though usually done better than a McDonald's or Burger King). This location only offers ice cream (soft serve) creations and hot dogs. Limited options if you want a real meal. On this visit, however, I just wanted a treat. They have soft serve in scoops or cones, milkshakes, and I believe soda floats. You walk up to counter and order while staff waits on you at a window. There isn't really any seating that I recall; I ate in my car. That said, service was supremely bubbly and nice -- the young woman who took my order was very friendly and warm. My order was prepared quickly. I got a cup of vanilla and chocolate soft serve swirl. I didn't want it to be completely plain so I got crumbled Reese's cups on top. The pricing is a little...confusing, I guess. A small cup of ice cream is $2.94, which given the size of the serving, is extremely generous. However, to add any toppings, it's $1.88 for each topping. This seems like a lot for crumbled Reese's. It was a LOT of crumbled Reese's, so I guess not completely incongruous pricing, but personally I'd prefer a small smattering for like .99 cents rather than a veritable candy bar on top of my ice cream for almost $2. Idk, maybe that's just personal preference. Anyway, my MASSIVE treat was decent! I have a strong preference for fattier, denser ice cream as opposed to soft serve, but for what it was, the vanilla and chocolate both were fairly flavorful. They were also both quite smooth, as good soft serve should be. I enjoyed the pile of crumbled Reese's cups on top. Personally, I don't think I liked it well enough that I'd return with any particular regularity, but that's probably more a personal preference than anything. If you like soft serve treats, I imagine this place would do the trick quite well.

The Falkville downtown is very small and quaint but cute. There's street parking right in front of the shop and I nabbed a spot. They have small bites and cafe type breakfast and lunch items (eg paninis, breakfast sandwiches, cookies, muffins, etc) and an extensive hot and iced drink menu. They did have some Valentine's Day styled seasonal specialty lattes advertised, but I didn't really like the sound/flavor combinations of any of them. Instead, I was able to build my own latte with flavor add-ins, which is nice. I ordered an iced latte with dark chocolate and maybe cinnamon? It's been a while since my visit but I seem to recall cinnamon. The service was adequate; my drink was ready in a timely fashion and the barista checked to see if I wanted an alternative milk. However, I didn't get the most friendly vibe and when I asked about the specialty drinks (e.g., which one is your favorite?) the answer was pretty flat and noncommittal. Idk, just a slightly weird vibe. Nothing crazy unpleasant, I just didn't feel very welcome, I guess. No biggie, I wanted to start the drive home anyway. I enjoyed my drink. It was nicely balanced and I could definitely taste the dark chocolate. And, unless I'm hallucinating this memory/flavor add-in, the cinnamon gave it a nice kick. In addition to coffee, they have smoothies, lemonade, and energy drink refreshers, as well as some small bites like cake pops and bagels. The employee was quick to offer assistance and gave recommendations based on the things I said I liked. I wound up ordering a "Dude Brew" latte, which is a white mocha with peanut butter and caramel flavors. I really like peanut butter mochas and don't see them at shops that often, so I was excited to try this one. It was prepared for me quickly and the drink was quite pretty when it came out. It was also, I thought, quite generous in size in relation to the price. Overall, I liked the drink. It had a discernible and enjoyable peanut butter flavor and the white mocha didn't taste artificial (definitely something I've struggled with at other shops I've tried lately). Personally, I didn't detect any caramel flavor and I thought it was a little heavy on the milk, but I definitely liked the drink and would probably order it again. So think of your favorite soda (Sprite, Dr. Pepper, Coke, etc.) and then add some flavors like raspberry, vanilla, pineapple, peach, etc. They have some existing winning combinations or you can create your own from a list of flavors! I got a single scoop of the "Better Brownie Batter" and also opted to try a lemonade with pineapple and peach flavors added in.
