The bouncers probably only let me in because they were scared I might chafe myself to death on the lonely walk home. I don't want my bad taste to tar corsetry for other, responsible wearers of corsets though. They are beautiful, ingenious things and I believe every woman (over fourteens at least ) deserves one. If you are in the market for such luxury, Lulu and lush is definitely the place to go. They fit, customise if required, stock several brands and have some of the most eye wateringly sexy lingerie I have seen since my first Wonderbra.

It gives you the feeling that buying something from here is no biggie, it's what every woman deserves. They specialise in beautiful, boned corsets, ranging from those with a real wow factor to more demure (well, slightly) ones. You can really go for the buxom burlesque babe look with a little number from here. There's also a lingerie and corsetry customizing service, so if you want something extra special you can really go wild. The great thing is that they are suitable for all shapes and sizes as that's what corsets are for, sucking you in and pushing you out... in all the right places! I love the ruffled silk knickers for a bit of frivolity. As soon as you put them on you just want to shake it.

Rubbing our eyes in the cold blistering morning wind, two fellow bridesmaids, the bride herself,…read morethe mother of the bride and I wandered around the South Quay region of Canary Wharf looking for this mysterious bridal shop called Les Trois Soeurs. [top tip: get off at Canary Wharf tube, cross the bridge, and head towards the Hilton, or South Quay DLR...] After fifteen solid minutes, one of our number spotted the sign for Beaufort Court above a flight of white stairs, and we clambered inside. LTS had kindly opened early for us on Saturday morning, and were fully equipped to deal with us: coffee appeared as if by magic, and swatch/dress books omnisciently opened at the correct pages. The bride already had her gown, so we just needed bridesmaids dresses. The two ladies who served us (whose names escape me, unfortunately) were well-mannered, friendly, very professional and the complete antithesis of elderly bridal assistants (thank goodness). They did their best to address the bride's indecision, and we finally settled on a colour palate. Their changing room is large and pretty, with a huge mirror, so all the bridesmaids could check on their dresses before going into the reception area, where the bride and mother-of-the-bride were seated on a gorgeous chaise longue. Each of the assistants dutifully pinned and unpinned our dresses into the most flattering shape for our bodies, and then ran to the back room to find further dresses every time the bride made a decision. By the end of the appointment, we had secured the best dress style for the wedding. Removal of one star: because of the limited space of the LTS shop, as we neared the end of our appointment, we were asked to change in the "back" room (little more than a cupboard with a mirror) so that the new appointment could have the larger room. Changing three bridesmaids in such a tiny room was an issue, and also served to make the bride feel rushed (even though we never really overlapped with the next appointment time at all). I would advise LTS find a way to manage two appointments in their offices, as their ability to serve was compromised by their limited space.

You might find nice dresses in this shop. I actually found my wedding dress, which was exactly what…read moreI wanted: my dream dress! But let me tell that even if I found THE dream dress, I deeply regret going with this shop. At first, the sales rep seemed nice and looking to satisfy my every need, but, as soon as I had paid for the dress, the service level dropped to zero. Here are just a couple of things they continually did between the time I bought the dress and the final fitting: - Cancelled appointments (all the time) - Changed the tailor to an unknown one - Modifications were not done on time - had to re-pay for a tailor last minute to get it done at my place the day before leaving!!!!!! - They lied about their ability to make a custom shrug which was nor my size, nor what I had ordered - Worst thing: when they came back to me with a dress and a shrug that were not fitted properly because THEY had not taken the measurements properly, they wanted me to pay additionally for more fitting !!! My story with this shop is the worst dress-seeker's I've heard of and it was a pain from the moment i had paid for the dress. They clearly do everything, however dishnoest it might sound, to grow the bill and have no interest in your bride journey! All the interactions with other contractors during my wedding prep went fine, they were the only black spot ... I would highly advise to avoid this shop by all means...

I first visited Morgan Davies when located up on Cross Street and from that first experience with my best friends, knew that the kind service and modern dress selection would bring me back when it was time for me to enter the wedding dress process. With mom in town, it was time. Morgan Davies was of course the first place I made an appointment. And it was... nice. The new shop is stunning with lush fitting rooms, but where as other bridal shops immediately exude warmth, this one seemed much more "in-and-out" orientated rather than relationship building. Now in fairness, I know I'm not going to marry my wedding dress consultant, but it's a pretty big decision and it's nice to find someone who really wants you to be happy! I walked in, picked five dresses, tried them on, walked out. I don't know... maybe that's how some people like to do it, but in other shops I really enjoyed getting dress suggestions from the consultant, having her fluff over my hair, shoes and accessories and really get in there with the pins and needles for some mock-fittings. And if I remember correctly, this is the exact experience I had at the previous Morgan Davies location. Meh... maybe I just came on an off day?

Hi there, After…read morereading great reviews and have them recommended i decided to go to Morgan Davis bridal. This turned out to be the biggest wedding mistake i could ever make!!! Annalize is the most unprofessional, incompetent rude manager i (and my now husband) have dealt with! I will tell my story here, its a bit long, though i will try and cut to the point When i first went into the shop to try a specific dress i found she was nice and polite. I tried the dress decided straight away that it was the 'right one". She measured me and i made sure to question carefully about the size i needed and also question if the dress would be comfortable as we were getting married in Italy. She said she knew what she as doing and the dress would be arriving in 2 months (it was 3 months before our wedding in June). The dress arrived, i went to my first fitting... The dress was too small!!! -It couldn't close on my back and They claimed i had gained 2 inches on my bust and lost 2 inches on my hips... (simply impossible, also as i have a personal trainer so i actually have all my measurements and weight on file incl the weekly updates at the time up to the wedding)... As you can imagine the stress was horrible, 4 weeks before the wedding and no dress. As i was very stressed out i involved my at the time fiancé, the owner Samantha went on the phone with me, she never said a simply sorry, but did promise they would fix the dress if i wanted. My fiancé also went on the phone with Samantha (to him she did say sorry and that they made a horrible mistake) she promised they would work around the clock if i would want the dress still...We decided to go with the dress... The new dress arrived a week before i had to leave for my wedding and this time they ordered it way too big, which meant the alterations were extensive. Annalize was at work this time and started out with asking me to try the sample while saying;" if you remember the sample as almost perfect to you" I corrected her "that it was way too little over the bust on the back" (which i till to date have pics of) . They started pinning me up for the alterations, i again questioned the size of the dress as it looked completely out of shape on me, but they said it would be no problem. Last fitting the day before i had to leave, as you can imagine I was VERY nervous....Which turned out to be valid.... The dress AGAIN didn't fit, i looked nothing less than HORRIBLE in it, it was out of shape, clearly a wrong size and i couldn't lift my arms - yes you read correct! Annalize and her assistant were trying to pin it up further for alterations and at this stage i was at breaking point. We were doing "damage control" on my wedding dress. I tried to say this as well as point out i couldn't lift my arms to Annalize, who in a rude tone told me she thought the dress looked great and why would i need to lift my arms anyways etc etc. After this i tried to stay calm and just asked them to get me out of the dress, Annalize asked me if i wanted to settle the rest of the balance (i had paid half upfront) as she would like that done, i found that very surprising as i was 24 hours away from departure and still did not have a wedding dress. So i informed she would hear from my fiancé (as i was about to cry i didn't feel i could deal with it). My fiancé went on the phone with Annalize, questioning how we could settle a balance on a dress not delivered. Firstly she hung up on him. He called up again and this time he raised his voice while also expressing frustration that he should have to raise his voice. She was blatantly rude and basically just asked for the balance. My fiancé said; 'fine i have no problem paying you now, if the dress is ready on time as agreed in the condition it should be..." Annalize got quiet and all she said was: "please give me your card details and i will refund you your money...." A minute after we received a rude email from her about how she saw this case closed and money was transfered back to us. Still no simple "sorry" and i had NO WEDDING dress 24 hours before departing for my wedding!! I have never in my life felt so badly treated nor have had to deal with such incompetence. Morgan Davis Bridal - and particularly Annalize - have no clue or respect for the fact that they are dealing with peoples wedding and a once in a lifetime experience. To get closure I'm writing this review. I won't lie, i honestly did consider if i should involve a lawyer, because someone should cover the damages of the bride not having a dress! So my advise is to tay far far far away from Morgan Davis Bridal!
