After hearing that this place has poor service with employees that have a terrible attitude I called first multiple times to decide for myself. They do not answer the phone when you call during their normal business hours. Ended up going to another place that answers the phone right away and with a real live human being and they were very nice and helpful. read more

Love Love love!! I am beyond happy with my experience here. I called ahead and felt good vibes before stepping foot Into the studio. The vibes are chill and the music playing was top notch. I had a very specific tattoo I wanted with Fine line/script work and Alexander did an amazing job. He was so kind and the process was simple and he made sure I was satisfied with the placement prior to tattooing. This tattoo meant so much to me and he touched it up before I left instead of sending me on my way and I appreciated that so much. Everyone here are great tattoo artists and love to answer questions and provide comfort to their clients, from what kind of machines they use to what kind of ink they use to how long they've been at it and what they have a preference for doing. Megan is very friendly and works well with you and offers great suggestions! It was such an awesome experience. Megan has a very light touch with excellent coloring skill. I would say she's the Rolls Royce of technique and has an intense attention to detail. She is a great deal of talent! Do not pass her up! Recommendation: Everyone here has a great deal of talent. I heard great things about this place. So of course I put down a deposit to work with an artist (John). He changed times on me and cancelled on me twice due to his personal reasons. I truly get things come up. But when I contacted him to reschedule after his cancellations, he never got back to me and my deposit is yet to be refunded. High key a bummer. read more

I have only positive things to say about blackline. First of all, the atmosphere is always warm and inviting. Everyone who works here is super chill and helpful. My first tattoo here was by John (the owner) who is one of the nicest and professional humans to grace this planet. Then a few months later, I got one by Megan who does beautiful detailed art and is a lovely human being and most recently I've had two tattoos by Sean. I'm not even playing, Sean is the most gentle tattoo artist in this world. My partner and I collectively have over 20 tattoos and both of us agree that Sean has the most delicate touch and is always such a good guy. I haven't been tattooed by Alex or Bella yet but both of them are awesome and I plan to in the future. Everyone who works at here is a true artist and I love coming to blackline. read more

As this was my first experience with black line tattoos i would say the shop is pretty clean and nice. However, Poca did my tattoo recently and I wasn't really impressed unfortunately. She took only about 20 minutes to complete my tattoo as it was a simple tattoo. As it's healing now I can see that the ink looks smeared on the corners of the moon and the crest line of the moon is a little messed up in the middle. :/ maybe would've been better if the lines were a bit thinner? it's not horrible but could be better since I'm going to have it forever now lol.. Not worth $100 + gas money driving from austin to get it.. read more
