They could not see my car that day, but scheduled me in at 11am on Wednesday. CLAS did not get to my car to see the problem until Thursday. I patiently waited for days since the Jennifer (the office rep) stated they had 1-2 mechanics working. I understood and due to the heat I figured it would take awhile. Thursday I spoke with James and he stated that I needed a new thermostat and a coolant flush. Long story short, I got my car back Friday 6/28 and within an hour my car red coolant temperature light, windshield wiper light and engine light was on. It was like I was back to square one! My car started to steam and stall. I called CLAS and called Jennifer who stated that they will be there Saturday 6/29 between 8am-12pm. They did not show up at all. There was a sign on the door that they will be on vacation starting 7/1. I called numerous times. I could not leave a voicemail due to it not being activated( I wonder why). I drove my car a little without the air and it overheated within minutes. I waited til everything cooled down and checked my fluid levels. Ya'all! There was no antifreeze or windshield wiper fluid. Per Jennifer she stated that the owner looked at my car‍The way this experience has been going he probably did not put in a new thermostat either. It's been on my mind to write another review from an unscheduled stop right after Christmas. My daughter hit something with her car and broke an aftermarket rim. She's in college a few hours from home and needed to get back after her break. I had a new wheel ordered and paid for overnight delivery but could not find anywhere to install it. Every where was closed. I stopped by here and happened to run into an amazing gentleman that saved my entire day. The shop was closed but he was working on his personal vehicle for a trip to go see his daughter in college from what I remember. He opened the shop to remove the old rim and tire and mount the brand new setup for us. I have thought about this quite a bit and I'm always so thankful every time I go by and think about that day. An extremely kind gesture that saved so many things going wrong that day. I had a wonderful conversation with him as well. He stuck with me and helped me and I just wanted to Thank him and the wonderful family oriented establishment. They are incredible people and he didn't even charge us. I wanted people to know how great this place is and send as much business as possible their way!!!

But, time has passed, new F150 truck, and probably new staff, right? My circumstance involves known issues with a major mechanical component that Ford produced in a range of models. Mine is a 2019 and there is a plethora of information and YouTube videos about it. I decided I wanted/needed Ford's technical expertise on the matter even though I knew it would be more expensive at Ford. I spoke to an Adviser who was knowledgeable and we discussed options. Later, after consideration, I decided to go with a simple, normal, preventative maintenance approach, which was one of the options discussed. I'm not in a crisis situation, YET. But that's what preventative maintenance means. This situation, with these models, is complicated by some other-worldly design decisions by Ford engineers and not just any garage, shop mechanic should be trusted to know. The Adviser I spoke to knew about it. So, I called Service to schedule the , he didn't answer, so left a message asking for a call back. He didn't call me back. Days later I called again, he wasn't available and so I was transferred to Express Lane. That adviser said they don't work on these components and needed to go back to the main shop. Okay, fine, no problem. No one answered at the Service desk. I called later. The person that answered said that I needed to speak to THAT guy who wasn't available so they would deliver a message and to expect a call back that day. It has now been two week-days since and no one has called, not THAT guy or one of the other Service Advisers who didn't want to talk to me anyway. It's a common procedure, one that most folks do at least once during the life of their vehicle, and it's recommended. With my previous history with this Crossroads Ford (W/F) Service and now this, I can only surmise that they aren't inclined to care much about vehicles that aren't purchased from their own dealership. Neither of my Ford trucks were purchased there at Crossroads Ford of Wake Forest. A simple input of the VIN # tells them everything about the history of the vehicle: where manufactured, date of manufacture, options, etc. Otherwise, there is a culture at Ford, an arrogant culture perhaps, where they really just cherry pick the people and problems they feel comfortable with. I was respectful, polite, not condescending or demanding. I'm obviously a patient person. But I absolutely will not call again harass or beg them to care about duty, honor, integrity, dedication, commitment, values. I hope others get great care and satisfaction with their service at Crossroads Ford of Wake Forest. As for me, however, it just hasn't been the case. So, Good Luck!

This year, I knew the check engine light was on and knew it was a MAF issue since I have a code reader. They didn't bother trying to clean it the "affordable" way, they just replaced it. Okay, I guess since it did get fixed Apparently, it still wouldn't pass emissions. I was told it was running rich due to debris causing an injector to remain open longer than it should. No idea which one was the culprit so all had to be replaced. I guess there are people out there who will believe that bullshit. I knew it was bullshit. I was told they sampled the fuel in the tank and it had debris. Duh. Find a fuel tank in a 2013 truck that doesn't have crap in the tank. That's what filters are for!! $500+ to drop and clean the tank and then I'm told the tank has baffles so likely wasn't fully cleaned. How convenient, eh?? I just needed to get it inspected so it was drivable. I recently had surgery on my shoulder so I wasn't able to work on it myself. I knew the tank cleaning was bullshit but figured maybe it would get it over the goal line. The final straw was being told I needed 8 new fuel injectors for a total of $1700. I was told the injectors were $193 each. I can get OEM injectors from Rock Auto for $66 each. I can get aftermarket refurbs for $37 each. Needless to say, I did NOT have the injectors replaced since the truck ran great and there was no indication whatsoever of a fuel problem. I took the truck to Champs in Creedmoor who I trust implicitly and it passed inspection as is. Apparently, Champs didn't find a $1700 injector problem. I will NEVER bring a vehicle to this shop again! I don't know if the front desk guys get commissions for repairs but it would explain a lot base on the amount of money I've spent there. I'm only sorry that I had to give them 1 star. My preference would be 0 stars. I'm not some dipshit who has never turned a wrench. I've worked on my own vehicles for 40 years. My surgery made this one impossible. I now know who I can and can't trust.

Brutally honest review - took our SUV in on Sunday morning, we had a slow leak in right rear tire…read more Waited a while, Dante (extremely kind and professional) let us know that when our tire was removed, the technician actually ripped a hole through our tire. Dante let us know that they damaged our tire and generously offered to replace it . of course you can't really have a brand new tire and a used tire on the rear of your car which we pointed out. Dante offered to replace both tires at the cost of Mavis . we were so impressed to buy his owning up to the mistake that we offered to pay for one of the tires, and Mavis would pay for the tire that they damaged. We left Mavis with a spare tire on the right rear of the car and we were told to come back Tuesday when our two new tires would arrive. Arrived on Tuesday, and the two tires were put on the back of our SUV, watching the entire process, especially after the technician putting a hole through our tire, we did not feel a lot of confidence in the skills of the technicians in the bay . Left now for the second time, got home and realized that our tire pressure warning light was on because the tire had not been filled to the proper amount. Plus, on our receipt, it stated to come back within 25 miles of driving to have the torque tested. Now we are on Wednesday and it is the third visit to Mavis in four days. Let the gentleman know at the counter that our receipt said to bring it back in within 25 miles and he said he had never heard of that. Showed the receipt on my phone and let him know our tires were low just since yesterday. Got the torque tested, got the air in the tires. In all honesty, if this review were based on Dante and his professionalism, we would give a five star rating, however, the lack of confidence in the technicians is very concerning and for that reason we are giving a three star review. Secondly, what if we were in a position that we could not have paid for that second tire? It was a $449 transaction. We offered to pay for that tire so that our tires matched, but not all customers would be able to do that and that would mean that Mavis would have had to eat the cost of two tires. The establishment is new, nice, clean, however, we personally would not go to this location again . This should've been a one time appointment to check on air leak in a rear tire that probably could've been patched and it turned into three visits, $449 and a decent amount of hassle. We had high hopes for a brand new tire place close to home, but we will not return again .
