So, I drove over to Mavis in Ocean Isle and was immediatly greeted by Corey. After checking the car, Corey came out and said, come look at this. Uh oh. Two of my tires were almost split. Imagine me on the side of the road with a blowout or worse! So, my 2 tires were replaced and I felt safer! I could tell a difference in the tires as the car drove smoother. The real winner was Corey. I immediately returned, asking the owner to look at my car and he told me that he didn't swap out tires and that I would have to wait an hour if I wanted him to look at it. I explained to him that the car is driving dangerously, and I felt unsafe. He kept saying I do not swap tires. I felt taken advantage of and had to go replace these tires immediately somewhere else. I was distraught to find that one of tires on my Tesla was at 28 lbs. I immediately went to my…read moreusual tire place at 7:15 am. After waiting around until almost 9:00 am; I was told it would still be another 45 minutes to an hour to even take a look at my deflated tire. I immediately decided I would go elsewhere and I am SO glad I did. I went down the street to L & A and was greeted warmly by the staff inside. Although they were not sure they could work on this particular type of Tesla tire, they spent the time to investigate finding out that they could. Within 20 minutes, they had my car up on rack and located the piece of glass that was causing a slow leak on my tires. I felt so fortunate to have come here. I will only go here from now own and I plan on buying ALL of my tire here at this location. Wish I had known about them sooner!
