I try to stay away from impulse buys, but got sunk when I saw a really snazzy men's watch I just KNEW my boyfriend had to have. The shop had it at an incredble price. The guy behind the counter was super nice about taking it out and letting me look at it, told me more about what the watch is (citizen ecodrive watch), what it was worth, and ran through all the details to make sure the watch itself worked top notch. I even asked lots of dumb questions about if one size could fit all, how to change the battery, how to fix the band if anything happened. But the clerk was really patient and ansered all my questions. Pawn shops are always hit and miss, you know? Sometimes the prices are good, but other times the quality is super low level, or you feel uncomfortable browsing around with the sense of ghetto breathing down your neck. I'm glad that wasn't the case here. The pawn shop felt like it could've been a low-key jewelry store - really professional. It DID take a while for anyone to come around and help me (about 10 minutes), and I did have to wait when one of the other employees needed help with another customer, but I think it's just because they were busy. Anyhow, I'm not from Miami, but i'm glad I stopped in at this place and will probably be paying a visit the next time I'm in town!
