They said it wasn't possible, but they never sneezed or had any runny eyes before the visit to them. Four days after I took my male cat he had a terrible attack of this feline herpes which he never had in his 2 1/2 years of life. Four days after that my female started having the same symptoms, and she had not gone on that visit to the vet - must've contracted it from the male. They tried to tell me they always had had it. I disagreed. And then they lied on the records, so when I went to a new vet with their records, I found they had missreported a vital fact. They said that I told them early on that they had feline herpes which I absolutely did not do! I was shocked by that. Well of course I can't prove it, but all the evidence added up to the fact that they contracted it at the vet. That was bad enough, but then changing the records to say that I had told them about it was beyond unforgivable and we took our all our animals away from their practice.

They recently sold the clinic to one of the many business groups snatching up vet clinics and the service has degraded. Tough finding decent, friendly, knowledgeable and affordable vets these days. Between the tic problem increasing each year and the trouble finding a good vet, we are rethinking having more animals in the future.

She never does that at a vets office--she usually hides behind me! So I KNEW he had to be good hearted. Vicky ended up needing surgery to remove 2 HUGE cysts that I admit I should have taken care of when they were smaller. Anyway, Dr. Snyder suggested a surgeon for me to contact. I respect his honesty--a less honest veterinarian would have attempted the complicated surgery himself. Vicky's surgery was successful, and she is healing well. But I will always return to Dr. Snyder with both my rottie and by beagle for all future exams, shots, etc. as he is sincere, gentle, and kind. And that's what is most important when looking for a vet!

I specifically asked if my dog could just get one vaccine since she was already a patient and was not due for an exam for 3 months. I was told yes, she could get a vaccine only. Unfortunately , they lied, and it cost me a lot of money . I will never go to the vet again. The Concord SPCA offers a low cost vaccine clinic every month, which is where we will be going from now on.
