In my experience, the costs for exams, checkups, and vaccines are significantly higher than expected, and procedures are often performed out of sight after pets are removed from the room. Following one such visit, both of my dogs experienced adverse reactions to vaccines. Scheduling appointments is unnecessarily difficult, even though the facility often appears underutilized. When I requested a refill for my elderly cat's prescription diet, the clinic refused without requiring another exam and vaccines. This was particularly concerning given my cat's advanced age and difficulty traveling. No alternative solutions were offered. Additionally, a diet recommended for my dog led to serious health issues and cancer growths. The clinic then suggested costly surgeries exceeding $2,000 per growth, which ultimately proved unnecessary when the condition resolved after switching to a holistic diet. Overall, the emphasis here seems to be on profit rather than patient care. Examinations are rushed, often lasting only a few minutes, yet billed at hundreds of dollars. Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend this clinic to pet owners seeking compassionate, transparent, and trustworthy veterinary care."

They said it wasn't possible, but they never sneezed or had any runny eyes before the visit to them. Four days after I took my male cat he had a terrible attack of this feline herpes which he never had in his 2 1/2 years of life. Four days after that my female started having the same symptoms, and she had not gone on that visit to the vet - must've contracted it from the male. They tried to tell me they always had had it. I disagreed. And then they lied on the records, so when I went to a new vet with their records, I found they had missreported a vital fact. They said that I told them early on that they had feline herpes which I absolutely did not do! I was shocked by that. Well of course I can't prove it, but all the evidence added up to the fact that they contracted it at the vet. That was bad enough, but then changing the records to say that I had told them about it was beyond unforgivable and we took our all our animals away from their practice.

One woman who claims to be the manager and claims to have the most experience with animals regularly verbally assaults customers during pick up and drop offs. I have both been yelled at by her and seen her yell at others. The things she is choosing to yell at people about are not relevant to the daycare at all, clearly this woman enjoys power tripping and trying to make people feel like bad owners. Not only is that just obviously bad practice, it's rude, it's unkind, and it's unacceptable. Another point that apparently needs to be made: Picking up a dog for not doing what you want them to do is not correction!!!!!! A real dog trainer would know that. Really makes me concerned about what else happens behind the scenes. Finally, ANY medical test/procedure should REQUIRE DAY OF CONSENT! We didn't know we were gonna be charged for a fecal test and I would have preferred to bring it in myself had I known it was needed. I'm not going to blindly agree to medications and results from an unreliable source. We got a second test done with a different vet and those results confirmed everything we needed to know about how Cilley does business. Will not return, will not recommend.

She is professional and…read moremost importantly, compassionate and kind to our livestock and horses whenever we are in need of her services. We mostly use her services for the horses, but she has helped out with our cats and dogs occasionally when we've scheduled a farm call. We took in a stray tomcat a few years back, and she was able to provide shots as well as a neuter for him. Best of all, she comes to you, which is essential when you don't have a trailer to haul your horses to the vet! I highly recommend her mobile vet service!

My…read morefirst thought was to go into great detail about my family's experience with Russell's Animal Hospital but decided to make a long story short .....My daughter & Son-in-law had an 11 year old golden retriever. He was brought to Russell's in January with several health concerns including fear of cancer . He also had a large mass on his sternum. He was in and out of Russell's for numerous tests and bloodwork that they suggested from Jan 2025 into May 2025 . Test after test and bill after bill and over 3,000$ in Doctor fees , tests , etc. Russell's failed to find the cancer that eventually took his life on Memorial Day Weekend. Once it got to the point that he wasn't sleeping or eating my daughter & son-in-law took him to the Caves Emergency Hospital in Concord NH and in less than 20 minutes and a fee of 150$ vs 3,000$ ( not exaggerating) the doctor on duty was able to thoroughly diagnose him & gave us the sad news that he had a cancerous tumor that was bleeding and it may be time to consider euthanizing him . I Don't blame Russell's for the cancer and I don't know if the outcome would of been any different, but if Russell's would of done their job & been more thorough in finding his cancer there may of been treatment options available to us , but at the very least my daughter and son-in-law could of spent more quality time and been able to say goodbye over a longer period of time, Rather than getting blind sided and having 1 hr to say goodbye on a rainy cold Sat morning on the floor of the Cavs emergency room . Although Russell's did allow me a 2 hour meeting with one of there long time Doctors to voice my concerns and answer my questions, I must say I walked away feeling as if they accepted no responsibility for not finding the cancer , and offered no sincere apologies. I'm sorry to say but " SHAME ON YOU RUSSELLS!!! " you dropped the ball . In my opinion you were too focused on " Taking the round about way " ringing up bills and rushing through tests than being more thorough and finding our poor dogs cancer . WE TRUSTED YOU WITH OUR BELOVED DOG & YOU LET US DOWN!! With that being said I COULD NOT AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND RUSSELLS ANIMAL HOSPITAL TO ANYONE!! . If you do bring your pet there , be extremely careful , and bring the credit cards because they love to stack up the bills . I truly pray that your experience with Russell's has a much better outcome than our families .

I specifically asked if my dog could just get one vaccine since she was already a patient and was not due for an exam for 3 months. I was told yes, she could get a vaccine only. Unfortunately , they lied, and it cost me a lot of money . I will never go to the vet again. The Concord SPCA offers a low cost vaccine clinic every month, which is where we will be going from now on.
