They had some extra charges like shop supplies,$1.55 and another one Haz Matt at $1.55 Totaled $3.10 no where on there sign or hanging in the shop was this extra charge posted. Then they charged me $2.15 for additional oil. Now knowing that most if not all cars use a little more than 5 quarts if you fill the oil filter up with oil prior to installing it. But they pull you in with the $59.99 price. So the real quoted price should have been $65.19 + tax of 6.06 totaling $71.29 instead of $59.99 + tax 9.75% $$5.85 total $65.84 instead of $71.29. Underhanded tactics to raise the actual price that you get shocked with at the end of $5.25. + .21 extra tax. So $5.46 difference in the bill. I protested it and she just laughed at me. You should be informed of all extra charges if any before you agree to let them work in your car. Except Tsx we all expect to pay that one. As far as I'm concerned a man who operated his own business for 29 yrs. This is underhanded and crooked. I couldn't have ever imagined doing a job for someone and at the end. Saying the contract or advertised price went up because of some obscure charges I didn't inform you about at the beginning. No other station even Walmart that I have ever had my oil changed at has ever done this kinda sleight of hand to me. Darren Wingate a 64 year old man who has lived a little. Butch test drove my car and had his helper jack up the front driver side wheel and determined on the spot that 3 of the 5 Wheel Lugs were real loose. Butch told his helper to torque wrench those babies tight and check the other two, as well as the rear driver side wheel lug nuts for extra safety. Butch then test drove it again and told me to drive away without paying him a dime! I went back later and he still would not accept any cash payment! The man virtually saved my life. please visit this business first and foremost and if it can't be done there, Butch is your savior! Butch told me it was called getting lucky! I drove 100 miles on that wheel sounding off the night before and I was led by the owner of a motel to the west. He said this business can solve anything you have. The tech I talked to asked me how far I had to travel and I said not far, just temporary til I get alignment and some new tires. He then explained that he had one that was in pretty bad shape, bald, dryrotted etc. I asked him whAt he would let me have it for and he said "$25"! Well, I told him he was hitting me pretty hard for a barely usable tire, and he said, and I quote, "well it's better than walking"! I couldn't believe that first, he would try to price gouge a person just because he thought they were in a bad way and second, that he would be so arrogant as to rub it in by saying such a crappy statement! I just laughed and told him goodbye. I am not walking...I have 4 other cars I can drive, ALL of which have to have tires and tire maintenance on a regular basis. So for your information, Mr arrogant ripoff tire tech, I will NEVER take any of my vehicles to Reynolds tire for ANY reason. I do not do business with people like you, and I will not only NEVER use your business, I will tell everyone I know that needs tire service to NEVER use you, and they will repeat this and so on and so forth... Unfortunately that was not our experience. After driving 5 hours, the salesman knowing we were coming did not have it cleaned up! Husband gets in to start it up and it will not even start. He had service come get to fix. Easy fix. After about 15 minutes, we took it for a little drive. Did not sound or run right! Passenger door had been welded, glove box would not latch, driver side mirror broke, just the few things I noticed. I understand used and will have wear and tear but nothing was disclosed about the side by side when appointment was made. The salesman asked when they took it back to fix if we wanted to go on and start on the paperwork!! No! We told him it was still very dirty too, he said well we can have them clean it up. After reading all the positive reviews I was very disappointed in our experience. I think had we had a different salesman my review would be different! It's all about how you treat your customers!
