Our dog Cooper has a ton of energy and plays hard with my husband, but knows "mom" doesn't play rough and he never puts his mouth on me. Joel and Amanda are the best of the best in my mind when it comes to what kind, ethical, loving and passionate breeders should be like. The way they treated me and my husband validated our choice to go with them. They truly treated us like good friends, family even. They communicated clearly, made sure we had all the information we needed to feel secure in our decision, and the handoff was very welcoming, smooth and respectful. They are really great people, they're really passionate about the breed, heck they're passionate about other herding breeds too, and spend a lot of their personal time and resources rescuing less fortunate animals. I took them to small claims court for my parvo medical expenses and won. They have now had 5 parvo cases and refuse to acknowledge that they have a problem. They have blocked google reviews. Mr. Kirk has bullied me and accused me of horrible things. I am just a veterinarian and a puppy owner trying to do the right thing so no other puppies have to die of parvo from this breeder. We have had the pleasure of adopting two pups from wandering acres over the years and we have had amazing experiences with both. The owners are very informational and make sure you have everything you need to be prepared. You can tell they really care about their dog's well being, health and that they are a good fit with every home they go to. The welfare of their animals is their primary concern: you must be a good fit for one of their dogs. Amanda and Joel came up from our search and we were comforted to see all the raving reviews from their social media. This is quite rare to find when researching breeders as they usually only have a website with limited information, or require an email to reach out to. When you contact them you'll immediately notice how organized they are as they post daily on their social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook), and response in a reasonably fast time-frame.
