Guaranteed for cute backdrop photos, great for kids/families and it's such a big farm overall! Such a variety of pumpkins, squash and gourds! They have delicious hot apple cider and pumpkin donuts. Fresh produce and fruits, and honey too with apple cider available for purchase! They have a cornmaze for $7 admission, sunflowers and just a cute vibe all around. It is pretty popular too! The pumpkins are reaosnably priced if you're getting small and medium sized ones (not sure about the big ones). There were a lot of ppl with wagons purchasing big pumpkins so expect a line if you're visiting this month! read more

There's no entrance fee to visit the place, but there is one if you want to do the corn maze. We visited a bit late in the season, so there weren't too many pumpkins left, and the sunflowers were starting to fade--but they were still very beautiful. Parking was okay; there weren't a lot of spots, but it's very close to the farm. The farm was nicely decorated with different types of gourds and pumpkins, and they even had a giant talking witch! The entire place is giving cozy fall vibes. We went the first weekend of October. Out mistake was going in the afternoon when many of the pumpkins had been removed from the areas and they couldn't keep up with the customers taking them. We will learn from our mistake. We grabbed over 100 lbs of pumpkins, honey and apple cider. We just love the drive up to the farm along with the displays and inquiring types of pumpkins. We enjoyed the signs this year so we knew which pumpkins were good for cooking etc. read more

Such a gorgeous pumpkin photo op stop! The farm has a ton of different types of pumpkins, gourds, ornamental corn and decor. They set up the pumpkins in cute fall scenes and displays that are super Pinterest and Instagram worthy. Down the way is a field of sunflowers and a corn maze. This place is dogs on leash friendly which makes for cute photos with your doggo family. They also have delicious and cold apple cider and honey for sale. So many varieties of pumpkins, squash, and apples! What sets this beautiful farm apart is the various pumpkin scapes and photo opportunities built around the grounds. We visited on Saturday, October 4th and even though it was busy we still had the ability to take amazing photos without being overwhelmed by people. It is how they have the farm set up. We love making the drive here every year as part of the Skagit Valley Festival of Family Farms. They light the patch so beautifully, it looks like a farm out of a Hallmark movie. Taking photos here is an absolute must as there are lots of photos opps. I also suggest arriving closer to closing time because parking is limited. It's on a country road full of other farms and you can't literally can't park anywhere else. Looking for a particular type of pumpkin or gourd? You'll likely find it here. Their prices are decent as well. We bought 8 pumpkins in varied sizes and paid $26. I do wish their flower buckets were for sale, though. They have other produce here, including local honey that was on the higher price end. I can't say the staff stands out to me in terms of customer service, but it's a pretty straightforward pick-your-pumpkin-and-leave process, so we never need any help. read more

So many pumpkins and gourds varietals! We went on a Monday, and they have a smallish parking lot so I can see it being full quickly on the weekend. It appears dogs are allowed at this farm as we saw several today. During the weekday, they had some local honey, cold cider, and produce to purchase. They have wreaths and other decorations for purchase. The sunflowers were still blooming. There are plenty of pumpkin arrangements for photography. Would recommend coming, I could see if you brought a toddler there isn't as many interactive things that other farms may have but this was a memorable autumn adventure!! read more

My favorite pumpkin patch of all time! What makes Gordon Skagit Farms stand out from all the other pumpkin patches is the amazing variety (I think over 70 different varieties?!) of pumpkins and gourds they have. It's so amazing to see all the different kinds of pumpkins you don't see at other pumpkin patches because there are some really unique ones! Also, not only do they have a large variety of pumpkins - they have beautiful displays that are great for photos too :) If you're in the Seattle area, make a day trip out of it and head to Gordon Skagit Farms! If you need more convincing, I think this farm was even featured in Martha Stewart magazine! Note: this isn't necessarily a farm geared towards kids like a lot of other pumpkin patches. There's definitely more adults here to just admire and shop for beautiful pumpkins that have already been picked. The only "attraction" for kids is one rooster and a huge tractor sit on and "drive." This is my perfect pumpkin patch! I went on a COVID Saturday and it wasn't too busy when I arrived around 10 AM. They have a large parking lot and seem to keep traffic off the main road. This farm is just so cute. Great displays, places for photo ops and they use all sorts of pumpkins and squashes. They have a large 'u pick' field as well as the displays. The thing I loved most about this spot was they didn't have all sorts of activities that had associated costs. I often feel like I'm being nickel and dimed at pumpkin patches with shuttles, hay rides, food, apple picking etc. Gordon Skagit Farms is simply a beautiful pumpkin patch. The other great perk is this place is dog friendly. Our pups loved it! I'll definitely be back next year! read more

Came to Gordon Skagit for falltivities and was not disappointed. They are only open in the fall so your window is limited. I was worried about parking but they have a huge field and we didn't have to walk very far from our car to the main area. They have a lot of displays and shop areas to walk through - I'd say what makes them unique is the Instagram-able, color coordinated pumpkin displays. You can also pick your own apples and pumpkins out in their fields. Prices were really good - about half of what I expected to pay. Food situation was pretty weak - no apple cider donuts! Bathrooms were porta potties. Overall a nice time but not worth driving over a more local farm if you're happy with it. read more

so i've been a fan of almost everything in the skagit valley for a good, long time. despite living in seattle, i drive up north with frequency so i can visit some of my favorite restaurants, get quality produce, do some gift shopping at a couple of shops in mt. vernon and generally unwind a bit from the hecticness of being in the thick of it in seattle proper. this past october i discovered gordon farms and i couldn't contain my glee when walking around amidst the gajillion types of pumpkins, all amazingly displayed, prior to the halloween holiday. i visited on a weekday so can only imagine how absolutely insane this place would be at the height of the season on a weekend; i will always make it a point to come on weekdays to minimize the large crowd factor. there are wheelbarrows and carts for customers to use to haul around their squash selections. all types are marked with price and name and displayed in such a way as to make you want to take picture after picture because it's all so, well, picturesque! prices were reasonable and dogs are also welcome which was a plus. parking lot was almost full but easy to maneuver in, especially if loading your car with purchases. this place is quintessentially skagit. if i could be guaranteed to have crops as beautiful as these, i'd give thought to making farming my day job! read more

My first time at this farm! What a beautiful place. It is free to get in, only cost money if you buy something. They have food on the weekends. And the best part is dogs are allowed here. My dogs first time at a pumpkin patch she loved it. They have a big pumpkin patch and a nice big corn maze. Don't forget to wear your boots as it's very muddy. Lots of fun areas for photo ops. They have all different shapes and size, and colors of pumpkins. We went on a weekday and it was pretty busy, so I imagine it's pretty packed on weekends. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that other patches do like hay rides, games etc. But it makes up for that in other ways. read more

I've been coming here for more than a decade to buy my pumpkins. Gordon Skagit has the most attractive display of pumpkins of any farm I've been to, coast to coast. They take pride in their art, antiques, and atmosphere. The selection also can't be beat, nor can the quality. Large or small, you can find just about any kind of pumpkin you'd like. You can also grab a wheelbarrow and head out into the field and pick your own. They also have charming apple orchards for pick-your-own apples, or a large selection ready to go at the farm stand. There's also an awesome little barn full of haunted and spooky decorations. Do yourself a favor and come here for your pumpkins! It is so much more fun than grabbing one out of a bin at Safeway. Make a day of it and check out the other farms in the area, too. read more

A beautiful, cheerful setting and a must-do family Autumn tradition. Grab a wheelbarrow, get a coffee and baked good to nibble on while you browse through the pumpkins and other squash and fall bounties. There are orchards of apples and corn fields to check out. The area is perfect for little ones with plenty of fabulous photo opportunities. We were there about 45 minutes wandering through the displays and enjoying the fall harvest. Cutest pumpkin patch (patch is a disservice - farm, field, barn) ever! They have a stunning variety of pumpkins & squashes in every color and shape imaginable, all arranged in a quaint, smile-inducing manner. It really is the most adorable farm I've ever seen, so cute & perfect it belongs in a magazine spread. The u-pick pumpkin patch is full of all sorts of pumpkins, and it's quite fun to wander around it until you find the perfect one (or two or three). I can't praise October at Gordon Skagit Farm enough. It is a bit of a drive from Seattle, but wholly worth it. If you have kids they will love the corn maize & giant pumpkins & getting to pick their own pumpkins, and the farm is so beautifully decorated you will end up with gorgeous pictures & memories with your children. For adults, I recommend doing what my boyfriend and I did: go to Jones Creek farm for apple picking (they grow an absurd number of non-grocery store varieties), visit Gordon Skagit Farms to pick pumpkins & enjoy the beautiful fall decorations, then visit Tulip Valley Vineyard for hard cider & wine tastings. Only giving it 4 stars because the apples weren't very tasty and there wasn't a play area for kids. Also no farm animals, just chickens but you can't pet them. This pumpkin patch is absolutely adorable! It was a little bit tricky to find, but was completely worth the effort. There are all sorts of fun activities to do! There is a corn maze in the shape of a crop circle which is super fun and very large (seven acres!). There's also a kid-friendly haunted barn, a cider shack, u-pick pumpkins, and the hugest variety of gourds I have ever seen! The farm itself is lovely. It has all kinds of pumpkins, gourds, and other vegetables. We spent quite a long time just looking at all the options, trying to decide what we ought to buy. Our haul was pretty huge...we left with a large carving pumpkin, a sugar pumpkin, 4 small gourds, 3 ears of indian corn, and a very cool-looking white gourd. We also grabbed a gallon of apple cider from the fridge, which is EXCELLENT. Probably the best apple cider I've ever had. Be warned ahead of time though: It is cash only, so be prepared for that. Also, the corn maze and u-pick patch are rather muddy, so sturdy boots are a good choice. I definitely recommend this farm - it's fantastic! read more
