He was extremely timely with responding to all emails and inquiries. Even though we booked very far in advance, he never dismissed any of our concerns or questions and treated us with extraordinary respect. The contract was clear, concise, and absolutely in favor of the customer. The prices were very reasonable considering their service, and they offered a number of different payment options to make it convenient. As far as the performance, all of our guests were so impressed and excited by the live music. I found them through a random Google search, so I was a little anxious that I hadn't heard them live before. It was my mom's one and only special request to have an orchestra at my wedding, so I was also nervous about making sure she was happy. From the very beginning, Franco was professional and super easy to work with. Very responsive to emails and willing to accommodate all of our (many, often last minute) requests. We asked him for a lot -- we had the group play prelude music, different music for groomsmen, bridesmaid, parents and bride processions, recession and a bunch of hymns in between. We also had him come to our wedding rehearsal, for an extra fee. For the prelude music and processionals, I gave him a list of song requests from group's extensive repertoire. For our recession, I really wanted something that was not on his list -- "Sky Full of Stars" by Coldplay. I found sheet music online and a recording of another brass band playing the song. The sheet music wasn't written in an easy key for brass instruments, but I took a chance and forwarded it to Franco. He went out of his way to find better sheet music for his team. It ended up sounding wonderful! The hymns were the most important thing for my mom. She loves big, loud, grand church music. The week of my wedding, I sent Franco a number of long-winded, frantic emails with sheet music for the hymns, tips about how to play with my church's (very slow singing) choir, my mom's instructions to play very dramatically, etc. One of the songs they had to play wasn't even in English (the verses were in Malayalam, my native language). It was very last-minute-bride of me, but Franco took it all in stride. He showed up exactly on time for the rehearsal and discussed cues, etc. with our organist. I didn't have to worry at all! And on the day of, everything went perfectly! It gave me so much joy to listen to The Chamberlain Brass play during our service. The hymns especially were marvelous and so grand -- exactly what I was hoping for! I was smiling ear to ear the whole time they were playing, they sounded so heavenly. And my mom loved it so much, I swear she listens to a recording of our wedding hymns every single day. From beginning to end, The Chamberlain Brass was definitely the vendor that was easiest to work with for my wedding, and they absolutely delivered on the day of. The Elefante music repair shop promises 24h response time to give a quote. I have an instrument…read morethat needed an urgent evaluation with a few days. I have dropped my instrument for evaluation/repair on Monday, I didn't get a response in Tuesday, and I called again wedn and was told I will get a phone call on the same day. Still didn't happen. On Thursday morning, called again and was told they will call back on the same day, and still didn't happen. The front desk again told me they will call me on Friday. When I asked how I can believe him when I have been lied to three times, he said he wasn't sure if they will be able to call me on Friday. Elefante has failed their promise to customers three times in a row, and I feel the company is just telling lies in order to get the customers to hang up, rather than to help solve their problems. To follow up, on Friday Elefante called me in the morning and informed me their technician was not available in the past days. They apologized and had my instrument inspected right away. I am appreciative of this communication at last. However, please be aware that some instrument may incur delays depending on their technician's availabilities. This is why I am revising to 3 stars now from 1 star before.

Throughout the planning process Charles was always there to answer questions and offer suggestions. We have heard so many rave reviews from our friends and family that it was an unforgettable band with the best music. From our first phone call, when Charles explained the band's background and we discovered a mutual love of Hailu Mergia, I knew this band would get what we were after: a great time, with a little something special and unusual. The band invited us and several couples to attend a practice set, which they absolutely blew through, and we hired them shortly afterwards. Working with the band was straightforward: Charles took point on communication, asking what we liked, helping us pick the right number of band members (we chose 8, which was perfect for our venue), and sending us a song list to mark our must-plays and don't-plays. He also suggested an Afrobeat cocktail hour, a special talent of this band, which was so fun -- we highly recommend this option! My wife and I wrote our own ceremony, including several weird music cues that the band nailed perfectly, even learning a song for our processional. Charles attended our venue walkthrough and rehearsal to practice these cues, even though the band had another gig that evening. And the band provided sound equipment for the ceremony itself, which worked flawlessly -- unlike many weddings I have attended, in our ceremony, there were no microphone issues. When it was time to dance, the band absolutely destroyed their two sets. Many, many of our guests commented that this was the best band they'd ever heard, not just at a wedding but at any event, and asked for details to hire them. They also sounded fantastic, with great levels and control -- they were never overpowering or too loud to hold a conversation, but they were energetic enough to keep everyone moving. In fact, one of my favorite memories of the whole day was being on the dance floor, looking to the dinner tables, and realizing that every single seat was empty. The Cool Rulers had every single guest on the floor, almost two hours into their performance! I've never seen this at a wedding, and I was so proud to have it happen at ours. That still provides little excuse as to why this review was not done earlier as Mirage Music provided my wife and I with an experience that will last a lifetime. From the moment we contacted Tony, the professionalism and passion for music was apparent as the conversation was open and easy. Obviously you have that initial introduction of questions that must be dealt with i.e. What are you looking for?, What type of crowd will make up your reception? Fortunately, we were able to witness the band's talents first hand at a wedding reception a year prior to our event, but the band does have a website with live performances to get a sampling of what they bring to the table. After the "technical" aspects were out of the way, my wife was able to speak with Wilma in order to finalize the first dance, father/daughter, and mother/son choices. We provided a detailed list of songs we wanted the band to touch on but their expertise really shined through when Mirage began playing songs that I never thought of including which ended up being huge hits with our guests. Now, I must mention that our first dance by Zac Brown Band was very special and unique to us.......as all first dances are right? Well I only say this because during our first dance I leaned in to my wife to ask if the song that was being played was live or from a cd.......it was THAT good. Mirage seamlessly worked with our other vendors, including our DJ, from beginning to end to make sure we were the ones who mattered.
