He quickly diagnosed the situation and as there was a way to use water without a further leak, he picked up the replacement part Monday and came right over to fix it. He's friendly, professional, and very reasonably priced. In addition to plumbing emergencies, he does boiler replacements, emergency services, installs everything from old-school boilers to the latest heat pumps, from radiant flooring to steam radiators. I'm sure Lloyd's is a great company and this review is not suggesting otherwise, but, do you want to spend $149 to end up not even using them? Lloyd's might consider a new policy for 2025, ..."your $149 estimate fee will be credited to your work", in-other-words, if you went with using Lloyd's, they would credit you that $149 back. The worst part is the technicians did not clean up after the job. They left the basement floor covered in soot and mud. I then had them keep sending me stuff about crediting my account despite being told I'd receive a check.I finally got the check and they picked up their propane tank after 3 months of them harassing me any my household and them refusing to close my account. I mentioned 6 times between February and now that I'm not going through them my account is to be closed and I'm going through a different company.Well today had to call them back as I received a paper with my account still active and a list of rates for 2025 dated May 19th. They also repaired my boiler's vent tube and installed a cap, so the vent whistle works and things are now up to code. Everything looks great and works perfectly. They also kept everything neat and clean. Best of all, the finished cost was exactly what I had been quoted in the estimate. And the price was very reasonable.
